Kind β’ Outgoing β’ Adventurous
history
Lia grew up alongside her brother, Nate. Their parents were often absent, leaving them alone as they went off for work for months at a time, leaving the pair completely on their own. Because they were often on their own, Nate felt obligated to take care of Lia as they grew up, and the two promised to stick together through everything, no matter what. When her parents were around though, they often imposed impossible standards on her, treating her more like a trophy than a child. Lia was always treated like their legacy, and if she failed to pull through on providing them that, she would be punished.
Liaβs neglect from her parents lead to her developing a habit of focusing on others more than herself as a way to respond to bad circumstances. She rarely looked at her own feelings or emotions and preferred to focus on the emotions of others instead. Lia has a deep desire to help people, and blames herself when she is unable to help someone. Despite this though, her relationships with others are often quite shallow. She often acts more as a general leader than a one-on-one type of helper, which stems from often having to quell her parentβs disputes with her and Nate and being forced to play peacemaker. Her attempts to help others can also become self-sacrificing, because her identity is shaped around others, she often does impulsive things in order to help even if itβs hurting her.
Lia's feelings on her parents are, well, complicated. She does look up to them and want to help people like they do, but that doesn't stop the creeping feeling of blame that persisted throughout her life that made her feel like it was her fault for them leaving in the first place. Whether it be from not living up to their expectations or something else entirely, Lia finds herself wanting to be like them, even after all theyβve done to her. She does eventually see that the way theyβve treated her and Nate is wrong, though, and becomes a good person in spite of what her parents are.
She fell into the rift on Earth with her brother Nate after adventuring in the woods after their parents had left for yet another business trip. Lia and Nate ended up on Quescillia and met other teens like them who were now tasked with stopping a man called The Spy from setting off an event that could end the universe as they know it. Lia was shoved into the role of βleaderβ right away by Peace, and this impacted how she would view herself moving forward with the mission, because unsurprisingly, the pressure of saving the whole universe is quite grand and terrifying. She also develops a deep want to understand and help Spy, rather than take him down. Lia sees himself in him (something she doesnβt experience often) and actually wants to help him avoid the same fate she believes she has succumbed to. Even if he says he hates her, she still wants to be his friend, or at least make him a better person and see how cruel Omne really is.

Lia is a very compassionate and loving person, usually the first to help in times of need she is always around to lend a helping hand. She lives for adventure and the thrill of exploring the beyond, usually willing to push the limits to have a little bit of fun with those she loves. When her friends are happy, she is happy, so she makes sure everyone is well kept and content. As a result she is also very outgoing, and loves to talk to new people and make new connections.
She is without a doubt a natural leader by default, most turn to her first in times of guidance. She tries to stay objective and neutral in times of conflict, trying to establish peace first off and only resorting to hostility if no other options are available. Though she is a good leader, the pressure of such often goes to her head, making her feel as if the world will crash around her if she makes even a small mistake. Since biggest fear is no longer being needed or wanted by others (and she is terrified of letting people down) she often prioritizes others wants above her own to keep everyone happy, afraid if she takes control of herself for once people will not want her anymore. Despite this though, she does eventually learn how to put herself first, and realizes that she is just doing the best she can (and that is the best she can do.). Lia learns that despite how she may feel idealized by her peers, she is still human and capable of making mistakes like the rest of us, and doesnβt deserve to let her own wants go to waste simply to please others, as she is already enough the way she is.personality
Lia deeply cares for Nate. Although, she worries him a lot, she cares a lot about Nate and would do anything for him.
Spy is Lia's enemy...but well...not really by choice. Unlike Spy who takes their rivalry VERY seriously, Lia seems to not even notice it at all. Despite their tense relationship, Lia sees the good in Spy, and thinks that one day with the right guidance the two of them could be friends. But for now, she's stuck having to deal with his evil little shenanigans.
