Early Life

Pip was born to Carla and Gerald Hendrickson, both former employees at Dulcet Laeta Factory. After Gerald passed away, Carla left Pip as a baby at an orphanage in the slums and disappeared.

Growing up at the orphanage, Pip suffered from a weak immune system and various other genetic issues due to being a pop rocks. Because of this, she was often bed ridden or in hospitals as a small child. During one serious stay at the hospital, where it was expected that Pip would die without new intervention, her treating doctor chose to double her doseage of bonbons against an unpublished law to not do so. This stabilized Pip's genetic makeup, since pop rocks were an unstable candy type, and permitted her to live on.

As she got older her health problems lessened, thanks to her adjusted bonbon usage. This permitted for her unique super strength ability to finally manifest, which changed the trajectory of her growing up. She used this to gain an upperhand on bullies and dangerous individuals in the neighborhood, and even started a street gang in her youth to keep the area around the orphanage safe. Alongside this, Pip was introduced to robotics and engineering by a robotics shop owner named Hank who took Pip under his wing and taught her his trade.

During one fateful evening, a street gang from the Northern Slums came to the South in order to challenge Pip's group. They were known for being undeafeated, thanks to Pip's strength. However, upon seeing Pip and ridiculing her, the leader of said gang made a cheap attack, knocking out her tooth. This incited an unhinged rage that blinded Pip completely, and she nearly murdered the boy in retaliation. After being charged for her actions and recieving a light sentence, she was required to no longer associate with the gangs and do some form of community service, which she served under Hank.

Working under Hank, she learned of a "Young Minds" hiring opportunity at Dulcet Laeta, and one of the positions called for a brillient engineer. In hopes of winning the position, Pip and Hank constructed her first set of stabilization gloves which utilized a "nanobot" technology that Hank specialized in. This invention put on display won her the position at Dulcet Laeta, which allowed her to move out of the slums.

The Factory

Pip quickly proved herself at the factory, despite the expectations from others that she would be fail immediately. With unique ideas, stubborness, and a drive to do anything asked of her, it did not take long for her to impress the engineering manager at the time, Edwin Abbott. She was appointed as his assistant manager, and they worked together well if not with some unusual tension.

Edwin eventually fell ill, and not long after passed away from his illness. This made Pip the new engineering manager, which she continued to work for years after. During the time of Edwin's influence, Pip understood that she was "female" and needed to act accordingly, despite their field not particularly being feminine. She struggled for awhile, even after his death, to begin truly finding her comfort zone in more masculine and androgenous presentations of herself. This also meant she had a habit of presenting as childish and energetic in her earlier days of working and managing.

She maanged to find many friendships at the factory, all of which influenced her life as time went on. Fights, secrets, and unusual antics were a regular occurance at the factory and all of it influenced how those relationships formed, flourished, and broke apart.

During a particular White Rabbit Festival, a cultural celebration in the White Rabbit district of Tanim, Pip presented an invention that acted unexpectedly and violently at the crowd. After being disabled by her assistant manager at the time, a representative of the factory publicly demoted Pip from manager in response to the danger. Angry, and believing he had a hand in the actions, Pip pursued the assistant who was promoted on the spot, and this resulted in an unexpected retaliation attack. Using his own gloves and strength enhancements, he destroyed her neutralizing gloves and their faulty wiring inside caused them to explode on her arms.

After this time, Pip attempted to accept her demotion, despite the newfound depression and upset it caused. While working, she began having adversed interactions with a new janitor, Kim Watson. They regularly clashed and argued, with Kim consistently looking for new ways to irritate Pip at work.

Overtime, and after various situations involving Kim, the two developed a sort of friendship that blossomed into a romance. Pip offered her help in any way she could to Kim, who struggled a lot with legal situations, negative relationships, and poor coping mechanisms. They opened up to each other, though not without major bumps in the road, and easily became dependent on one another for a sense of security.

During an unusual Halloween movie night at the factory, resulting in Kim and another employee becoming "soured" and attacking the others, a substance was found dripping from the ventilation system in the factory. The black goeey substance smelt burnt and had bits of neon green in it. Pip took a sample and investigated in her own time, discovering that there were traces of human dna in the substance. This aligning with other strange occurances from the history of the factory leads Pip to investigate further and hack the factory databases for information. She finds an old blueprint for bonbons, the lifesaving and protective medicinal candy that all Taniminians are required to take, which states a chemical make up that doesn't add up to what it is reported to be doing. These anomalies and inconsistencies convinces Pip to continue to push the issue, beleiving the public deserve to know the truth.

Rebellion

Choosing to try and alert the public about her findings without getting in legal trouble, Pip uses a gender-change potion as a disguise and attends the Eclipsion Twilight Ball in the town center as a masked vigilante. This character scales the clock tower, announces a war against Sweet, and disperses copies of the bonbon information and other info she'd found overtime. She tells the public they can find the rebellion if they look for them in the shadows, and runs before she is caught by authorities.

Noting similarities between the masked person and Pip, Kim easily connects them and finds Pip sneaking back into her apartment upon leaving the ball. Pip explains what she's found and her intention to go further.

Eventually, come Sweethearts, special gifts are sent to certain individuals to recruit them into The Rebellion, and after finally meeting face to face the counter-movement truly begins.

Various methods are taken to peacefully but abruptly throw contradictory information into the public eye, which discounts government claims and releases new information once kept away. While the government attempts to keep the peace and denies the info as being simply slander, more and more people join the rebellion thanks to graffiti or recruitment.

However, it is during one of these movements at the Hana-Con, an anime and manga convention, that Pip's information is found out and she's discovered as being the leader of the various movements the Rebellion takes. Quickly having Bip lock the Rebellion servers that they use to communicate, Pip is gunned down by Vitale Lettiere, a respected SSF officer and Lucie's uncle. Shattering Lucie's perspective on the SSF, Vita takes Pip to Ft. Vaughn to be put "In Quarantine," which to the public, is a system to protect the majority from those who may be severely sick from not taking their bonbons and rehabilitate them.

Pip undergoes several forms of experiments, torture, and psychological trauma during her time spent in Quarantine as the lead scientist, Whittemore, attempts to get her to reveal more about the Rebellion. Her cell coincidentally ends up next to the long lost brother of Lucie and Vita's nephew, Adrien Lucaille. The two strike up a friendship, and conspire together to attempt breaking out. Pip begins to consistently throw up the food given to her, suspecting that the ability neutralizers that keep her from using her super strength are inside. Once her strength manages to come back, and the plan is set, her and Adrien create a wide-scale break out at Quarantine, in which they discover Adrien's identity, release multiple cell blocks full of prisoners, and create chaos they use as a cover to escape.

They don't escape unscathed, with Pip attempting to steal information and materials from the lab before leaving and in result faces off with Whittemore. She manages to trap the mad scientist and get away, with use of a dangerous chemical known as "Snatcher Adrenaline" that is harvested from the various snatcher specimen also held at Quarantine.

Her injuries compiled with her severely underweight and unhealthy state at the time of the escape results in Pip suffering a coma once they return to the hidden base that the Rebellion utilizes and Pip created before her arrest. Thanks to connections with medical families, she's treated and kept alive but it is discovered from her Quarantine file that her genetic composition as a Pop Rocks is so unstable that it is one of the only kinds of candy that genuinely needs bonbons to survive. Because of her refusal to take them, and having been off them for as long as she had, it was confirmed that her heart would eventually give out.

Despite this, Pip tried to move forward as leader of the rebellion and perform her work as she wanted. This created a lot of problems and clashes with others, as she did not cope well with the information and slowly disclosed it with people she trusted. Eventually, the entirety of the Rebellion was made aware to prepare them for the possibility of her dying during their fight against Tanim.

Due to cramped living quarters from those on the run from the law, both from quarantine and otherwise, a move was made to usurp territory above ground starting with the North slums. After negotiations with the local gangs who essentially ran the area, the Rebellion erected a digital dome that protected them from outside forces. Overtime, they gained more territory, working their way to the Southern slums and extending their dome as they went.

After claiming the North Slums, a new face joined the Rebellion, Skye Belle. Skye quickly found friendship with Pip and their group of friends, including an eventual romance with Lucie. Pip and Skye were similar in nature and ability, though Skye had better social capabilities. They made many promises, including if anything should go wrong with the other, they would take care of it.

This became relevant when it was revealed that Skye was an intruder after Sweet's army destroyed a portion of the dome and invades. Skye denounces their alignment and follows Pip in taking down the blimp that destroyed the dome and subsequentally ending Whittemore. This however, separates them both plus Bip from the others and during the major battle between the Rebellion and Sweet's army, as they attmpted to get through the broken pieces of inner Tanim and alert the others that they were okay. The battle raged on with the rest of the Rebellion holding their own, and once Pip got their message out, they all conceded to their location for the final showdown.

With inner Tanim as the final stage, the Rebellion fought off Sweet's army and eventually Sweet. But, despite seemingly ending his life, Sweet's backup plan was using other merges like himself that were constructed in Quarantine by Whittemore as his next forms. Skye, being the most stable, was the candidate chosen and internally fought against Sweet for control of their body as Sweet faces off against Pip on the roof of the abandoned Dulcet Laeta factory. Pip, whose strength ability had completed faded, took blow after blow attempting to bring Skye back to the surface. Seeing inklings of them still inside, and with a hope that Sweet's half was struggling from the prior assault, Pip uses the antidote they have to eject Sweet's half from Skye and finally end the war.

Afterwards

After Tanim was liberated, reconstruction efforts were made. Pip having to recover from her injuries, began helping with the reconstruction of Tanim eventually. New government was enacted, and though Pip did not want an active roll in the new government systems, she never completely escaped the responsibilities either.

Tanim opened up to the outside world after years of seclusion, and Pip with the others reached out to other societies and cultures to connect for resources, cultural exchanges, and alliances.

Roughly a year or two after the liberation, Pip and Kim are approached with taking care of an orphan that was similar to Kim in candy, but suffering of various behavioral problems. Noticing the similarities, they take on the child and eventually adopt her. Autumn, who they called Auttie, would be their only child in their lifetime.

Pip continued her robotic work as many individuals after the war needed limbs or robotic replacements for organs, creating new technology that she eventually would teach others to make. As well as taking on a part time position as a professor at the newly founded college, Pip worked as an ambassador for the Tanim government in outside communications.

Eventually, despite numerous interventions from others, Pip's heart would give out and she'd pass away in her sleep.
