An aurusalkar who would rather live in some unknown village than in a palace where nabis wait on him hand and foot? What's wrong with this guy?
Boone's one of her Boys. He's annoying as all hell, but he's got his uses. Somehow this little trickster can get into places no one else can. His mischief just needs a little productive guidance, is all.
Just keep the little feller calm, and they'll all walk away with limbs intact.
Well, it's nice to be able to save money on explosives... just stick Charge somewhere and give him the magic words, and you're all set.
Cobbler is a bouncer at the theatre. He's so kind to check on her wellbeing and make sure she's not being bothered by some of the more rowdy patrons. She tries to find little ways to help him out, or pay him back for his kindness, especially he won't usually accept anything offered to him as thanks.
Cori was under his protection while Ringo was hunting down Lepus. She's pleasant company, though a bit on the quiet side. Perhaps her cage was not up to her usual standards, even if he cleaned it daily.
Mesa doesn't visit the Grand West often, but when he does, Juliet does whatever it takes to keep him distracted and happy. She doesn't want him tearing down the theatre. But when they have a private moment together, she can see his more vulnerable side. It's brief, of course, but it's there. If only she knew what to say to convince him to be a little more gentle...
The Sheriff only comes around whenever he's certain the Delevista law won't immediately run him out, so even if he's a big pain in her ass, he's only an occassional pain in her ass.
The scruffy Sheriff. He's apparently some bigshot in West Ridge. Who even cares about West Ridge? Wow, congrats on beating up a ton of stupid dust riders with rocks. Really scary. And he doesn't even rule all of it! Amazing.
Mason points all kinds of people to Brix if they're looking for a bit of a change in their life. He's the top guy for this kind of work - especially sine Mason gets paid for every new client he sends Brix's way.
Mason's always got an idea of who's looking for what. Brix will pay Mason a finder's fee for any client he sends his way. He seems to be able to pinpoint exactly what people are most self conscious about. It's quite a profitable skill.
Mason's one of the best sources of information in West Ridge. He's almost a little too good at what he does... he wonders if that information is a two-way street - what does he know about him? And who does he tell?
He doesn't wanna know what Mr. Burke does with the information Mason gives him. All he knows is that he pays, and pays well.
There is something quite strange about this alleged aurusalkar. He does not doubt her statement, but how strange for her form to not have reverted back to normal after the storm passed...
This hermit is weird, twitchy, and smells so strongly like metal. Like, it makes sense, but... still. It's distracting. And he keeps muttering something about how she's Blessed. Ugh. Make sense, weirdo!
Miss Fancy's a real class act! She doesn't usually talk to him though. He notices her watching his shows, so what gives? Is he too slimy?
A fellow worker at the theatre. They aren't close, but BeeDee can be funny. Usually when he's doing his slapstick routines.
Hallow is a LOVELY gossip partner. Even better, if someone's bothering Fancy and isn't picking up on her insults, Hallow is happy to make things clear for them.
Fancy's a fellow waitress and performer. Sometimes they perform together. She's a bit more prissy than Hallow would usually like, but it's fun to gossip with her about the patrons who think they're smooth.
Fancy is really demanding. Maybe she senses his weakness and knows she can walk all over him, or maybe she just chose him to focus all her strange whims on when she's in the mood. He probably deserves to spend a little time being told what to do by others. Maybe it'll endear him to her if he just does whatever she asks.
Fintan may as well be her personal butler - when he's not on stage, anyway. He's such a sweetheart to be so attentive to her every request. Hopefully that isn't just a ploy to get her to let her guard down. She's not so easily swayed by simple acts of service.
Miss Fancy will sometimes join her on stage, which means Juliet doesn't have to worry about everyone staring at just her. Even if she tends to soak up all the praise meant for the both of them.
Sometimes Juliet and Fancy will perform together. Juliet tends to let her take center stage, which is a wise move on her part.
Cassie's a sweet girl - and rich, too! Or at least, she inherited land from her parents. Maybe if she gets in her good graces, she'll... keep her in mind when it comes time to divvying up her wealth.
Fancy's always been kind to her, even if she can be sharp with the others. Is it because she's an aurubi? Or maybe it's because she's being taken care of by her boss. Either way, Cassie's happy to have someone to talk with who isn't Trixie.
Fancy's a performer and waitress. She can get a little picky about getting dirty or helping with dishes, but she's not a bad worker. Even if she does try to sneak the tips that are meant for others from time to time.
Trixie is her boss. Things run pretty smoothly with Trixie in charge, and she cares more about the comfort of her workers than her own profits. Fancy has no intention to leave this gig - not for a million bucks. Well... maybe for a /million/... but since that's unlikely, then probably not.
Harlequin's good for his pay, and that's about it. He's smart to hide from Mesa; he'd be chewed up and spat out of the ground as a big metal trophy to mount on Mesa's wall.
Ringo is quite reliable. He is the first hunter to successfully capture and return that wretched Lepus to his den. He will keep him in mind for future work.
If this guy tries anything, he'll regret it. Or maybe he'll be knocked flat too fast to regret it.
This fella's gonna be a tough one to wrangle. But he'll figure out a way. He has to, if he wants to bring these two in.
What did they do to get some ranger on their tails!? This has to be a misunderstanding, but this guy looks so scary... did the poster say alive, or dead or alive? She doesn't want to find out...
This Calico lady seems on edge. He was happy to let them pass on through, but then he saw their faces on a wanted poster. Now he's gotta track em down and bring em in. The poster didn't say what they'd done, only that they were to be brought in alive.
The brute that spawned Rigel. He is beneath someone of his stature.
The outcast should have stayed gone. Only by Aurion's grace does he avoid his wings being clipped. He does not deserve such grace.
Castor, the second-born aurubi. He shall always be in the shadow of his betters, but Mintaka must serve him, all the same. That is, until Aurion comes to her senses and casts him out officially.
The Right Star has never much cared for him, but he knows his place well enough to never speak openly on his distaste.
Gabriel is a good lad, if a bit naive to the ways of this world. No matter. He's been quite the help. He was sad to see him leave, but Gabriel deserves to be with family. He enjoys the letters he sends. Something strange happened not long after, though. He got a... generous... gift? From his father, Mr. Von Falken. It was more than enough to afford him to worry less about his monthly payments... but that's not why he took care of Gabriel. He was a boy in need.
Mr. Finnigan let him stay in his home when he fell into the world. He'll never forget that kindness, and he will pass it along wherever he can. He writes as often as possible, keeping him updated on his new life. When he spoke of Mr. Finnigan to his father, he got a funny smile and asked if he could send a letter of his own. He wonders what interest he has in his friend.
