Okay I probably shouldn't be doing this, but I got too hyped about this species I've had in the works for months now and have rEALY wanted to start working on them and providing examples/info.... bUT dARN IT I've just been too busy and pushing it off in favor of other things, etc. So while I prooobbably shouldn't do this, cuz it's gonna add a lot of work to my plate, I'm too excited aND WELL MAYBE this'll kick my butt into gear on actually developing them.
So, yeah
I'm looking for some MUTUALS who might be interested in doing blind custom trades! Since a lot of this new species isn't explored yet when it comes to physical traits, I'm only going to be asking for palettes. Which means, for the custom exchange I will only give a palette in return -- open book on both ends! I won't provide any WIPs or mock-ups, and I won't ask for any. I will also be working on these around commissions and other money-making stuff cuz money is important and this is for fun FFF so it may take a month or two?? To finish or get around to everything, so there is also no rush on your end. (But I'd like to have a hard deadline of three months on both sides for completion.)

They're called Melwyrms, and they have both a human/kemonomimi-ish form, as well as a worm/bug form.

I will be doing my half as off-base designs, in either chibi or fullbody (up to you). I will provide both the worm version, as well as their kemonomimi version w/ an outfit. -- so I ask also for an offbase, and either chibi or non-chibi dependong on what you want from me. Clothing doesn't need to be necessary for anthro species adopts (tho welcome??), but please do include them if they're kemonomimi (I love fantasy stuff pls). ;v;/

This is an OLD DESIGN (some might recognize) that I made like over a year ago as a possible 'painted adopt' example, but never used or did anything with. I completely forgot about it until I was picking through my folders FFFF
So I found it again, redrew it cuz the original is a bit dated, and viola! Putting this cutie up for possible, maybe trade ;v;
Right off the bat, gonna say I'm gonna be /suuuppper/ picky. Like, there is a good chance I won't end up trading the design and just keep it or selling it later. ;v;
I AM ONLY INTERESTED IN OFFERS INCLUDING DESIGNS AT THIS TIME.
I'm not after anything specific, but I AM wanting something I feel is worth it/of somewhat equal value for what my adopts go for... So you can sweeten your deal with art or money if you'd like, but designs are what I'm really after. If the design isn't something I'd use, I will turn it down fjlkda;
Some species/designers I like include (in no specefic order);
-Dreamies, scarftails, some cyzlphs by beagalltach
-Certain shadowmonsters by piffi (I don't have one yet, so really interested in this -- but kinda picky)
-non-feral designs by azolitman/lacha
-dio/diorama (including myo designs)
-old-styled longthings by glider (before long hiatus) (or from the newest batch that just went up, those are all really pretty)
-certain designs by terraterrific
-Some stuff by Resadopts (pref male, designs that'd fit in european-inspired fantasy settings)
-Some non-species stuff by Kaiet
-Some stuff by Erebun/Edopt
-And maaybe certain Efurus by Annily/Ayshun, Purrailles by Sundances, and Appositi by Aomaoe (but only interested in a couple specefic designs of these three, so extra picky here)
I am not really looking for stuff outside of this list at this time, and considering how picky I'm gonna be.... offering off of it will likely get a no.
I also prefer looking at pre-made designs than customs rn... I mean I might take a custom (only by artists listed above), but I really don't have any ideas for stuff I'd want right now so idk what I'd ask for jklfd;sd @__@;;

i don't think i'll do an early buy option this time, cuz they've all been bought right off the bat and I wanna give FA/dA folks a shot too /wheeze

inadvertantly had the subject brought up in conversation, and just... remembers the bad feels all over again
I'm definitely not a perfect person, and I know I've made a lot of mistakes in my past, and a lot of those mistakes still fill me with regret
But something that bothers me /so much/ is when I'm accused of doing something I didn't -- like, I hate lying, so ultimately I will always own up to my mistakes, but it just jfkld;sfd really bothers me when someone thinks I did something I didn't
And it's even worse when you can't clear the air..... Like, when you know there's just... bad mojo between you and whoever, that you can't just go up and be like 'that thing you think I did, didn't happen btw'
SIGHS
Like, I definitely 100% know I can't be friends with everyone, that I may just not mesh personalities with everyone I meet, regardless of how much I might like or admire them as an artist or w/e similar interestes we may have
But I really, really don't want to be enemies with anyone either. There are a lot of things that happened quite a while back that still bug me, especially with my own actions and attitude, but also including getting blame for things I didn't do. I know those things will never be erased and I really wish they could be.
I wish I could press reset w/ a lot of ppl /moar sigh
LIKE I KNOW I just gotta take it as a lesson and make sure I don't go down that path again, but still sucks. FFFF
Cuz I'm sure regret will plague me for a long time yet..... evEN MOAR SIGH
but to try to end my sad rambles on a more positive note, I am so close to be free to spend money again. ;.;
And also sakuracon is coming up... majority of the time these two things are all I can think about FFFF
