Exactly what the title says haha. I'm seeking some couple art!

I've been really loving a few couples recently, they're just so fun?? And I really would love to see them drawn in other styles!! 

I have three in particular that are of interest, and depending on art style I may request specific ones that'd fit.

I'd also be down for solo pieces of a few characters in said couples since I just love them too haha. I'm really just in a mood for art of my kiddos, I guess. But couples are a main priority.

In return, I can offer art/customs or characters, depending on what you'd like!

Character-wise I can do anyone outside of Crowns, Stories, Pending, and Retired. Exceptions are Morgana, Evelyn, Jill, Obscura, and maybe Ichigo in Stories. Just ask if anyone interests you!

Art/customs I can also do my best with aaa. I can't promise anything super high-detail/polished (like full-shading and background), but I can offer smaller stuff (like minimal shading and a simple bg circle) for sure!

Hello all! So I'm in a bit of an art block right now aaa. I want to draw, but I don't know who or what. I don't know whether I want to design new characters or draw older ones. Kinda both honestly?? I know I have one gal that I have story notes and a concept chibi drawn out for, but my motivation on doing her ref has been wonky pfft. And another character concept that I haven't been able to draw out right but love the concept of (well, two of those, but one in particular hehe.) And I have like,, a WHOLE list of names that I want to use for characters?? And if you want to see either of those (like the concept/notes and/or the name list) just let me know. May help me come up with ideas haha.

Otherwise, I'd love to see what you guys may wanna see! If there are any characters you wanna see, let me know! I'd appreciate some little prompts to draw for too, but that's not required hehe. Or if you wanna send over like prompts or moodboards that may work for designs, I'd love to see them!

Weehaw, hello all haha. 

So! If it hasn't been made clear yet, I have fallen madly in love with a certain tiny sewer rat, and I'd love to get some art of them!! So... art trades! Yeah!

Art-wise, I'd love just about anything. Busts, halfbodies, fullbodies, chibis, pixels, sketch pages, whatever! I just want to see them in other styles haha.

ALSO, on a related note,, I'm looking for ships for Wednesday haha. I love writing and drawing character relationships a ton, so... y'know haha. Honestly, I'm kinda loving the idea of them being with some sort of mad scientist-type character they can just wreak havoc with?? I love the concept of two chaotic characters getting together into a surprisingly soft and wholesome relationship haha. But honestly, I'm down with anything! If you have any characters you think may work with them, then by all means hand 'em over haha. We can discuss for sure.

I'm also possibly willing to do a custom for a partner for them, if anyone is interested in that?? Like if you have a character concept that'd work but are having trouble designing them? It could be part of an art trade as mentioned above, if you want!! Or I may just up and do it regardless haha, we'll see.

Hello, all! I received this cutie very recently in a trade, and I totally love her!! I have a lot of name ideas for her that I'm not quite sure between, so... poll! You can also give me suggestions for names that aren't listed! There's a good chance of there being good ones in there haha.

Story-wise, if it helps with name decision...

I'm thinking she'll probably be a rock musician, at least online! Her music would probably be something akin to a Pierce the Veil or Alesana-type sound?? Post-hardcore in a way haha. I dunno, something like that. She's mainly gained popularity through a channel she runs online where she uploads rock covers, original works, and also just some fun and games (like she'll upload videos of herself playing rhythm games and stuff, and sometimes just random stuff like cooking videos or photos of herself or something haha.) She sometimes performs in small venues like clubs and stuff, but mainly she stays online. Outside of her channel, she works part-time in an instrument/music store! She mainly gives music lessons there, as she has experience with a lot of instruments and loves inspiring young musicians. 

She's a rebellious free spirit, preferring to walk to the beat of her own drum (often literally.) She's very bold and outgoing, traits that mesh perfectly with her bright and colorful appearance. She's fun-loving and playful, with a bit of a snarky edge. She'll brighten up a room easily with conversation, and loves to project herself as an extrovert. Clubs and parties are her zone, and she thrives in high-energy situations. She's a bit of an adrenaline junkie, to say the least, and social situations especially give her a huge rush. She loves chasing thrills and taking dares, just to spice up her life a bit. Despite that, she herself is often on the more chill spectrum. She comes off as quite laid-back and just "cool." She knows how to slow down and relax, just as she knows how to get energetic and wild. She's a quick and creative thinker, often finding strange solutions to the problems presented to her. However, as friendly as she seems, she's honestly quite closed-off and enigmatic. She's the kind of woman that everyone knows, but nobody knows well. This is intentional: she has lots of issues, to say the least. 

She has trouble trusting people fully, and often worries about being used/manipulated. She keeps everyone at a friendly distance, and it takes a lot to get her to truly open up. She sometimes struggles with her independence and autonomy, mainly due to issues with her past (I'm kinda thinking that her parents are famous pop stars who got really controlling with her until she just got fed up and ran away?? Idk for sure hehe.) She sometimes tries to make herself more of a lone wolf than she really wants to as a result. She wants to do everything by and for herself, even if she doesn't quite know what she's getting into. She's too stubborn for her own good, often getting in over her head. She can also get a pretty short temper, one which often manifests into a need to brawl. She'll fight for whatever she's passionate in, no matter the consequences for her. For those who manage to get on her good side, this is a great thing; she's very loyal to those she truly trusts. That's just a very small ring of people.

Weehaw, story announcement! I know I've been teasing at the whole exhibition thing for a while now, and I think I finally made up my mind about it. I'm going to be posting chapters periodically on here as I write them! I'll also be posting art of them a bunch, depending on the time I have haha. I'll at least do one big piece, since I need one big piece for the exhibition. But I hope to do more! 

Now... You guys could probably guess by the characters I've been posting lately, but I uhhh totally ignored the poll I made about what story to choose, naturally haha. Anywho, without further ado... The story of the month iiiiiis...

The story of Lailah Evermore, an Oracle once held captive in the town of Veridis. All her life, she has only known the temple that she calls home. However, when infamous pirate Shepherd Brandt crashes into her world, she goes on an adventure that will show her the true meaning of the world. Joined by the loyal knight Atlas Lambert, the sweet maid Fiora Lambert, the snarky princess Ciel Skycroft, and more, Lailah will find her place and step into her independence once and for all.

CHARACTERS:

Lailah EvermoreLailah Evermore is known as the Oracle due to her psychic abilities. She is able to see through time (and possibly space? I don't know if I'm going to go the multiverse route or anything, but you know. If I do, she can see all the realms and possibilities, haha.) She is highly sought-after because of this, and thus has been locked away in the Temple of Eternity and sheltered from the world for almost her entire life. However, after a chance encounter with a pirate by the name of Shepherd Brandt, she is able to go out for the first time. This leads to the adventure of a lifetime.

Shepherd Brandt

Shepherd is a rogue with very few morals. Known as the infamous air pirate, The Brandt Dragon, he travels the world looking for opportunities to get rich quick. Regardless of what he is, he's known for being an ass, to say the least. During his Heist of Eternity, a huge scheme he concocted to rob the Temple of Eternity, he ends up running into Lailah by chance. He sees a business opportunity in her, thinking he could make huge money off of her status as an Oracle. He helps her escape to fuel this goal, and they start going on a huge adventure that changes him for the better.

Atlas Lambert

Atlas Lambert, also known as the Earthen Knight, goes along with Lailah and Shepherd. He starts out as the top guard for Lady Elysium, and he is very dedicated to his position. After Shepherd and Lailah takes off, he is tasked with tracking them down and getting Lailah back. However, after confronting them (at least once, if not more), he starts to realize that he's been in the wrong all along. This leads him to a sort of identity crisis; he's always thought he was serving justice, but he was really just led astray and helping an immoral person the whole time. He goes along with Lailah and Shepherd after this realization, making it his new mission to protect them. He also has a HUGE rivalry with Shepherd, as the two are complete opposites. It often goes in flirty directions, and Shepherd always refers to Atlas as "Pretty Boy." Which, to be fair, he is.

Fiora Lambert

As her name may suggest, Fiora Lambert is Atlas's younger sister. The two of them were born in a farming family, who raised them in a quaint little village in the country between the one Veridis is in and the one that Daybreak is in. She was very close to Atlas when they were young, and the two worked and played together constantly. However, they ended up separated during a fiery disaster that decimated the village. Atlas was rescued by the Captain of Elysium's guard, who had stopped in the town briefly on his way back from patrol. Fiora, on the other hand, was rescued by a maid from the Skycroft kingdom who had entered town on royal business. While Atlas was taken back to Veridis and taught how to be a knight, Fiora was trained in being a maid in the enemy state of Daybreak. After training for a while, Fiora was tasked with being the personal retainer to Princess Ciel Solaira Skycroft; she was to keep Ciel safe and happy at all times. The two became very close to one another as time passed, even if they were at first on bad terms. After years go by, Ciel ends up capturing Lailah, Shepherd, and Atlas to hold as ransom for her enemy Elysium in Veridis. Fiora, recognizing Atlas immediately, decides to help the trio escape the situation they had found themselves in. She eventually joins the party with Ciel, and... well, you know!

Ciel Solaira Skycroft

Princess Ciel Solaira Skycroft is the ruling princess in Daybreak, a nation that is huge enemies with Veridis (and really Elysium in particular.) She often makes most of the authoritative decisions for her land (though anything huge she has to run by her mother, the queen), and has definitely gained the respect of her subjects despite her... interesting personality. After hearing reports of Lailah's escape, she quickly forms a plan to capture her, Shepherd, and Atlas for ransom against Elysium. She imprisons them at first, though after Fiora releases them and helps them to explain their plight to her, she becomes sympathetic to their cause. In order to atone for capturing them, she decides to go with them and assist them in their journey.

Isbel Toril

Isbel, also known as The Lightning Reaper, is a very... interesting person. They were once a part of a highly-esteemed church near Daybreak, being pushed to become a cleric thanks to their parents' demands. However, that idea took a turn as their magic began to develop; they were granted with electric abilities instead of healing ones. Despite this, they were still determined to use their magic for life-saving purposes. They experimented with their abilities, eventually realizing the true extent of their power: they could reanimate the dead. Granted, it was no pretty resurrection process; their undead servants were still quite decayed and zombie-like. However, for them, it held strong potential. Eager to impress, they showed off this ability to the church and their family. To say the least, that... didn't quite work out for them. They were quickly chased out of town for their abilities, forcing them to start a new and dangerous life on the streets of nearby Daybreak. They got into an underground business with their necromancy, but after being discovered by Princess Ciel, they were hastily imprisoned. They accepted that rather nonchalantly, sitting out their time in the dungeons (and growing rather bored)… until three interesting souls were forced down into a cell across from theirs. They decided that an escape with the Oracle, the Brandt Dragon, and the Earthen Knight would be quite an adventure, and thus set forward to helping them get an escape started (alongside Fiora haha.)

Lady Elysium

Elysium is the ruler of the town of Veridis and head of the Temple of Eternity. She has been a mother figure to Lailah since she was very young, raising her for years. She acts as a doting nurturer at first, one who just wants to keep Lailah safe. However, her head is in other places; she cares more about Lailah's power than her as a person. With the ability to see the future, Elysium knows that she could have ultimate power over at least the people of Veridis, if not the world. Thus, she has planned to keep Lailah locked away and, inevitably, use inside a huge device known as the Chrysalis. This would force Lailah to become an immortal oracle, constantly seeing visions that are then transmitted to Elysium for her use as she pleases. Before she's able to achieve this goal, however, Shepherd finds Lailah and helps her escape. Now short an Oracle, Elysium gets furious. She vows to get her back, no matter the cost.

Brio Allegretto

Brio is one half of the assassin duo The Allegretto Sirens. Alongside his identical twin sister, Rhapsody, he is infamous for his deadly efficiency and his sound-based magical abilities. One such person who took interest in their talents was Elysium. After the betrayal of her top knight, Atlas, she hires them to finish the job he left behind. They are tasked with two goals: bring Lailah home and kill anyone who dares to get in their way.

Rhapsody Allegretto

Rhapsody is one half of the assassin duo The Allegretto Sirens. Alongside his identical twin brother, Brio, she is infamous for her deadly efficiency and her sound-based magical abilities. Whoo, there are lots of them!! Very cool!! 

Anyways... The Butterfly Effect will have chapters published periodically as I finish them! I'll probably be doing a ton in bulk over this next week (trying to finish as many as possible before the exhibition haha), as well as art pieces coming as I can draw them. If any of you want to, you can totally draw art of these guys, too! I know I'd be super down for it haha. I may try to post the rest of these characters on Art Fight as well, for anyone who wants to draw them for an incentive on there (as of now I only have Lailah, Shepherd, and Atlas posted!)

With my laptop out of commission and exhibit stuff coming once I get it back, I may not be super active with attacking for a while. I'll try, though! And I'll comment on all attacks and such! 

Well! This couldn't have better timing, now could it?

So, my laptop has been on the fritz for almost a week now. I've been trying to troubleshoot it, and today I finally found the answer.

I opened my laptop today to see a 301 error (which means "imminent hard disk failure" for an HP computer.) After running some diagnostics and searching for answers, I realized that my only solution is replacing the hard drive entirely (unless HP Support says otherwise when I call them tomorrow.) I don't currently know how to do that, so I may need to get a new laptop altogether.

This means that I will be unable to work on digital art and/or writing (including coding because that is a bitch on mobile and I refuse) for a while. I'm not sure how long, but still. The timing is pretty awful to say the least, but I'll try and manage through for now! I'll also still be doing traditional art and such until I can do digital again, and getting story stuff together. It'll be a process, but I'll do my best!

I'll let you all know when I'm able to do digital stuff again! Hopefully it'll be soon!
