Pet Portrait Commissions 🐕🐈🦜🐍

Base price:
$40 fullbody / $25 headshot/bust
(a portrait with only a small part of the body such as feet or tail omitted will count as a fullbody)

Choose:
white paper (allows for more edits) or toned gray paper (allows for white details)
I can add editing such as a sepia tone or texture digitally for no extra cost, but if you want the original, it will be one of these two

Add-ons:
-gold accents +$15 (these may be foil, markers, or paint, depending on materials at hand, detail required, etc.)
-interaction +25 per extra fullbody, +15 extra headshot/bust
-shipped original +cost of shipping

I will need a clear, in-focus photo to use as reference.
Portraits will be directly referenced from the photo. If you want a different pose the style will be less realistic as a result, and I suggest my regular commissions instead.

I'll draw any animal! (Yes, even spiders, centipedes, cockroaches, *insert commonly disliked creature here*!)
I don't have pet portrait examples at the moment, but promise I can do realistic cats, rabbits, horses, snakes, bugs, etc!
I'll knock $5 off if you commission me for an animal type I don't have a portrait example of yet.

Honestly I feel weird about someone else's watermark being on something I drew, and would prefer that you didn't- but if you feel strongly about it, I'm not going to stop you.

Can I use art you made for me for commercial purposes?
I'm okay with my art 'adding value' to characters for sale purposes (even gifted/traded art).
However, don't use my art for other commercial purposes without getting my permission first.

Will you send me the originals?
If I made a traditional or partially-traditional work for you, feel free to ask for the original, I will mail it to you if possible! (sketchbook stuff may have other images on the same page/back)

Do you do requests?
I usually only do requests for RPG party members.

Sometimes I don't draw characters' pupils, it's just a stylistic choice, unless stated otherwise! If you would normally draw pupils, please go ahead and draw them with them!

I don't typically have any up for trades. Feel free to offer, though!
I won't trade a character with the 'played' tag, and none with the 'NPC' tag, except those in the 'Grab Bag' folder.
I'm most likely to accept USD [paypal, kofi] or art offers. I may accept offers of Libro.fm credits or audiobooks from my wishlist. I generally won't accept virtual currency.

Can I put your character in my 'dreamie' folder?
I don't mind! Just keep in mind I rarely trade characters I make unless I have the intention of selling or trading them when I make them.

Are you looking for characters?
I'm not actively looking for characters, but if you have a character in my faves, a character who matches my design wishlist, or want to offer a custom, feel free to message me!
I'm most likely to do a trade with you if you want art or a custom design in return. I might also consider USD offers, but I'm really picky with those.
Please do not offer me characters whose designers are not properly credited, or who have any uncredited art.

Any character I designed can be gifted/traded/sold/redesigned/deleted/used for NSFW
You may design relatives for a design of mine that you own / 'breed' the character.

FAVORITES

If a character is in your faves, does that mean you want them?
Characters in my 'Cool Designs' folder are just characters I admire aesthetically.
'Cool Characters' is for characters with unique/unusual designs, or aspects of their backstory or personality that I think are interesting.
I'm not particularly looking to acquire these characters, but if a trade were offered to me, I might consider, depending on the character. You can ping me if you want.

Do you want characters in 'Might Offer On'?
Characters in 'Might Offer On' are characters I'm considering buying or trading for. I might still be on the fence about them, so talk to me before acquiring them for a trade with me.

Why do you sometimes draw yourself with an eyepatch / one eye?
I have anisometropia. I came very close to losing vision in one eye as a kid, and still have very bad vision in it. I sometimes do wear a corrective eyepatch over my good eye, to try and train my bad eye into seeing better. I usually don't do this in public, because people get weird about it, and it gives me a headache, and I run into stuff.
Drawing myself with one eye is my way of representing that.
