Eshren left the clan before Folmar was old enough to follow her. Now that she's back from a successful (yet lonely) time traveling Faerun - romancing women, getting kicked out of bars, living off copper coins - she's trying to win back her brother's trust. She loves him a lot, and she doesn't plan on leaving him again, but she's not sure how many times she'll need to tell him that before he believes her.
Drill was surprised, at first, to find that he trusted his General. Hyiso makes an effort to know their clones, actually seeming to want to befriend the ones open to doing so. He finds himself befriending Hysio, and they're close companions throughout the time they know each other.
Drill is a good friend of Hyiso's. Obviously, they work closely as General and Commander, but they enjoy each other's company outside of deployment. Drill's high-energy personality matches perfectly with the Jedi's, both having a somewhat juvenile sense of humor at times.
Spots has mixed feelings about his Jedi general. Hyiso is far more connected and kind than any of his past generals- actually bothering to know the clones under their service, but they are a Jedi all the same. He doesn't bother getting to know them; just like everyone else. Their relationship is strictly professional.
Hyiso finds that they know nothing about Spots. Sure, there is an extensive record of his history, from his failed missions and former generals, but Hyiso doesn't know the clone personally. It seems he does his best to keep them at arm's length- adamantly refusing to engage with them outside of deployment.
Uncle Sal was introduced to Isa through Zora. Sal may not be the *best* option for babysitting, considering his creepy house in the middle of nowhere filled with taxidermy, but he's great at keeping her safe and entertained! She loves playing dress-up with him and his dogs, as well as going on nature walks together. Isa is probably the safest little girl in the whole world when Sal's watching her.
Spots and Drill had been close even as cadets. Batchers, and literally only seconds older than Drill, Spots knows he is the one person he can really confide in. He's constantly exasperated by Drills' habitual rule-breaking and bending but would do anything for his vod'ika.
Drill and Spots are the only two remaining of their batch and they stick close to each other. Drill would do anything for his brother and he knows Spots would do the same for him (even if he doesn't act like it).
While they might not get to talk often, Sal loves to do it. They had shared childhood experiences, and Sal loves to relive the good parts of Texas. He appreciates Poppies' concern for him when he gets into fights, even if he doesn't see the point of wasting supplies on wound care for him.
Poppy met Sal through Zora. They both hit it off, seeing as Sal is from Texas and she's from Rio Grande. They share similar childhood experiences. Poppy often sends homemade barbecue to Sal through Zora, and tends to his wounds if he happens to get in a fight. She likes the guy and thinks he's trustworthy.
Zora and Sal the kind of friends that are best described as the two dads that chat for an hour while standing in the driveway. Sal offers Zora prime cuts of meat and drags her to Bas Pro Shops, and in turn, enjoys going on hikes with her.
Zora likes Sal! He might have a lot of creepy taxidermy in his house, but he's pretty cool. She thinks he's a little too wild, but often times they get along. She enjoys cooking whatever weird meat he brings her, and in turn he drags her along to Bass Pro Shops. They also hike together! Think of two dads standing by a grill. That's them.
Mav pretty much found Sal sulking and plucked him right off the street. Sal can confidently say he'd both kill and die for them. He doesn't seem to notice any of Mavs' oddness, mostly because he's pretty strange himself, and next to unbothered by the thousands of spiders.
ride or die, mav cares about sal in the same way he cares about all the band members: that's their fucking family. sal's got some eccentricities but who in this scene doesn't?!?! better to be weird than boring. they look past the things that might bother others, and they both look out for each other. what more can you need
Sal sees Path as something of a nephew. He knows that Path looks up to him, and while he really doesn't understand how he can be a role model, Sal wants to help Path. They share concerns about their powers and appearance, and Path trusts Sal enough to confide in him. While Sal's a pretty poor role model in coping with these problems he does his best to give Path at least good advice, even if he doesn't follow it himself. He's also got a lot of old clothes lying around that can fit Path...
Path looks up to Sal. Path sees Sal as someone who shares similar troubles, and thus he confides in Sal with any problems or insecurities related to his monster-like abilities or appearance. Path grows to trust Sal a lot, slowly accumulating more and more clothes that Sal wants him to try on.
charlie knows sal from hanging with rosehead backstage and getting to know a few of the guys. sal seems to have determined that charlie is some sort of...truck loving, outdoorsy, hunter guy? he keeps trying to drag charlie on various expeditions and gifting him weird shit no matter what charlie does to try to convince him otherwise, but hey, he does truck repairs for free...
It's nice to meet someone who enjoys the outdoors like Sal does! They met from Charlie hanging around backstage, and Sal enjoys having a casual friend he can invite out on hunting trips. He doesn't really seem to realize that he's completely misinterpreted Charlies' interests and continues trying to gift him useful things, and maybe the occasional replacement "Ratlie".
Oh god. Ohhh my god. This guy is a serial killer for SURE oh my god. Every time Charlie drags Alistaire out to Sal's gross gross gross nasty nasty icky icky cabin in the middle of the woods where no one can hear you scream, he's doing something like turn a deer inside out or sharpen a zillion knives and it's SO scary and he's SO gonna die there one day. Also he has DOGS that are HUGE and SLOBBER SO MUCH and eeeeew ew ew ew Alistaire seldom makes it through a visit without crying.
Eventually, though, he'll come to realize Sal is another one of the many weird but good-hearted guys in Silver City. So even though they may not have, like, ANY common interests, Sal can lie on top of him like a weighted blanket, carry him around like an accessory, and let him touch his squishable paw beans.
Sal finds Alistaire amusing, in the way you find a small animal. He doesn't mind Alistaire as a whole and even though they don't share any interests, Alistaire's fun to have around (and make fun of when he gets scared).
They've been best friends since they were kids. Despite probably being insane, Brandy doesn't really care what Ricky's doing as long as he pays rent. He doesn't act like it, but he cares about Ricky a ton. If anybody wants to pick a fight with the eel, they'll have to go through Brandy first.
He calls Brandy "Big Dunkleman" to annoy him. They've been friends since middle school, and Ricky's glad to have a buddy that's stuck to his side through it all. Also, he gives him free snacks.
