(WARNING: This Bulletin will get vent like , I need to rant this out and also tell of my upcoming plans.)

My parents decided it would be a great idea to lie to me for months until recently that we are moving out of state this winter break and not even tell me what is going on. For months they dodged questions about us moving, lied that we will not be moving out of state, moving when I finish high school and go to college, and finally drop bombing the truth of us moving out of state this winter break.

I really didn’t know what the fuck was going on. It has been extremely busy with preparations and all, and school is making it worse with the grades having to be done and work must be turned in, and I constantly procrastinate.

I have lived in the state that I have lived in all my life, from when I was a few months old until now. I will miss South Carolina, I will miss all the friends I have here. But the time will inevitably come, and it hurts me to think about this shit.

Due to this sudden occurrence in life, I will probably focus on personal projects such as PBFP (to meet the deadline of releasing the series by March 16th 2023, my birthday. I don’t know what will be happening these upcoming months.) and will try and work on owed art slowly but surely, but after the entire debt list will be cleared off I will be less likely to accept art trades , do art games in the Art Games forum or do free art in the Art Freebies forum.

I swear, I am not trying to avoid doing my owed art. I actively think about it and try to do it, but life gets in my way. You can always check progress on my Trello linked below, and DM me if wanting an update.

However, I will still do the 400 subs raffle and will host it on October 21st 2022, the same day the October F2E raffle will end and will still do commissions.

I actually plan to open commissions for TH premium due to my Premium running out this month, and will be of the experimental messy render style I do on my Art Freebie thread. Might make it PWYW gacha style, I don’t know.

Activity on threads where I give things for free (such as my OC development help thread) and the thread where I fave peoples THs will likely slow down, and all I ask is for people to be patient. Threads where I do trades (such as headcanon trades) may have more activity.

But above all I am focusing on things in real life. Please be patient with me, I do not know what lies ahead.

I do want to celebrate this somehow! I have been wanting to reach this milestone for a while and I figured every 100 subs I should celebrate with some kind of event-

This week after seeing some Halloween themed adoptables being hyped up and challenges like Drawtober going on, I thought to myself about making some Halloween themed adoptables as a challenge:

The challenge being  combining random Drawtober prompts and looking through old sketchbooks and notebooks for random designs I have doodles but never gave a full design for and one can get these adoptables via a gacha (Example: Grimberriz Halloween Gacha Adoptables do go check out grimberriz as she inspired me to do this <3 !)

“Victory I thought you are taking like two weeks off to do personal art?-“ Yes , I said that, but technically adoptables can count as personal ? At least in my book-

Anyways thinking this can be a fun challenge and put all my old art that I cringe at to good use, and participate in the Halloween hype as I don’t usually participate that much in holiday hype, but I want to change that-

My question is, do you prefer on base adoptables or no base adoptables?

Both clearly have advantages and disadvantages, but I am curious as to what my followers prefer. Go on base or off base, especially for future adoptables? Vote in the poll, that’s the best way to let me know (+ it’s anonymous!) !

I feel like it would be too overwhelming to let all people I owe art too know via individual DMS about this so making a Bulletin-

I haven't done personal art / projects for a long while, and honestly it's driving me insane in the way my mental health is clearly going down as I have depraved myself of being able to focus on personal stuff over owed art, raffles, free art / things for others,  etc for a good long while and I believe I need a break-

So I am just just taking this entire week (INCLUDING the weekend) to focus on my personal projects / arts / works for a while, and will get back to doing owed art by next week!

Sorry for the inconvenience this might cause, especially to those I owe art for trades / commissions, but I am just really needing this break or I feel I cannot deliver the best art I could nor do it in a timely manner. Plus, this can bring more content for PBFP and MOTF-

(WARNING: This can be considered a rant / vent, do with that as you will. And sort of disregard the title, went off I suppose- Just been thinking about this every since my owed art queue has been SWAMPED from raffles that didn’t do well in engagement terms.)

Honestly thinking that if I design another character, it should either be an adopt or raffle. I am absolutely used to designing characters just to raffle them off, and I haven’t made an adoptable design in how long- Months?

I feel like my adoptables take so long to even sell, and I want to grow my audience before I attempt to make adoptables that are probably going to take months or even years to sell all because I am a small artist that is not popular and the algorithms of social media constantly hate-

Raffles and free art are pretty much the only way I can grow, as proven by the monthly raffles challenge and my freebie art thread(s). People just want things for free and of course it’s good to get things for free or for something little like faving an OC or character .

I know, and I used to believe “it’s not about the numbers! Fuck the algorithm, it’s okay it’s not about the numbers”, and while I try to continue to believe that, it’s… A struggle not to believe in such a thing when your friends or creators you know are really growing and you just witness it and look at yourself and realize “oh, I’m not the same.” . Even lost friendships due to such “jealously” I suppose, but I learned to better manage my behavior from such experiences and just keep this too myself until I can’t.

But then again my art takes time. It takes time and effort to make a character or draw some free art for people. Not just for TH, but for other socials. Most of the time it’s appreciated and I am grateful for at least appreciation, but then sometimes people don’t listen to the rules I set and / or don’t appreciate the art I give, and sometimes even I would regret giving free art to someone when we have a form of falling out and lamenting over the time I used- How many people I have blocked on my recent Art freebie thread when they just fail to follow one simple thing I ask for them to do to get the free art,,, I try not to think too much about it, but it frustrates me a lot. But then again, I suppose I have built my reputation with OCS, fanart, and of course free stuff.

And then I stress about things in real life as of course real life exists, and then I get into a cycle of being frustrated that my work isn’t getting rewarded for I don’t know-  

Growth? The one thing that I seemingly can never have no matter how hard I try and I try literally everything? I don’t know what it is. Perhaps it’s my artstyle , perhaps it’s my persona, perhaps it’s my art, perhaps it’s something else that’s just. Not it?

Call me attention seeking or rude or whatnot, while I like to provide free stuff, I feel like eventually one day I should make adoptables, do less raffles and encourage more people to commission me, etc. 

But that requires either a loyal audience or a large one… I don’t know, I don’t want but want to make adoptables, to do more commissions than free art, and to work on my personal projects as well. I am in that period where I am lost with my creativity, what to do with it.

 But this time the question is “should I keep doing things for free or very little, or start to move away from that?”

I would put this on the vent board but I am afraid I will be judged plus I want some input on this, so just putting this on a Bulletin and makes a poll that’s anonymous- Vote as you will.

Considering the stress school has put on me (it's no fun being a higher grade and taking higher level courses

While these monthly raffles have been fun, the recent round has put a huge amount of art debt upon me, and I struggle to complete them all without thinking about my upcoming series PBFP and how I haven't worked on it much due to owed art which a good chunk of them right now is from the monthly raffles. 

Sure I could host more, but most of them don't do too well...? Not worth the stress and all...? I could spend my time working on PBFP and not get myself into more at debt-

I enjoy seeing my constant joiners join, but I also want to expand my audience with these monthly raffles, but it seems like THAT doesn't go well everytime... I tried everything, and I went off on the vent boards about my frustration, and I feel like continuing the monthly raffles will just stress me out in the end, and no even be worth the stress.

But in the end I don't really know what my followers would think about this- Should the Monthly Raffles end this December 2022 with a final raffle on it's 1 year anniversary? Should it continue into next year? A few more years?

I have pre prepared for October's monthly raffle with the Halloween Themed F2E Raffle AND a bonus F2E raffle Pandemonium (Extra spooky design!) ! So do consider come joining both of these raffles if you want to get into the spirit for Halloween, figured I should make the October raffle halloween themed after all!

Also a QUESTION: Considering the Monthly Raffles Challenge will be going on for a while and most of you guys enjoy it- Should I make a pinglist pinging all those on the list so they can be notified the moment a new raffle is posted? If so, comment below and I can begin compiling a list! Just thought about this-
