Heyo, Glider here! Popping in on a dreary Thursday with a special flatsale drop for a species I know a lot of people have been asking for - I have stated that Eolai would be auction only in the past, but since these two are a NEW CLASS I thought I'd put them on a special introduction flat sale - a rare chance to nab an Eolai without the fuss of auctions! Any further designs will continue as auctions. Trying my best to copy how nicely Coon has formatted the last few designs, but if there's any issues or wonky formatting, forgive me ;w;
These Eolai feature some slight updates to the overall species lewk - the whiskery fringing is now more facial (nothing says mystique like sideburns), allowing for wider hair styling.

ᕙ(•◡•)ᕗ Happy Saturday! Glider here, briefly coming out from under my rock! Sneaking in just to post this, so my lil secretary Coonie can enjoy a weekend off without me crying and scattering garbage at her feets. I hope you're all in good health and having the best vibes you can manage these days! I am exhausted 24/7 and falling apart at the seams, but I feel halfway human having finished my last prednisone run so that's ✿ kinda winning ✿.
Coon already announced that there is a Whisp auction next week (there's 2! I think they are v cute, one is darker and the other is light neutral), but I just wanna toss out there that I have 3 flate-rate designs which will be available as well if you're not into the auction or Whisp vibe. I don't really know how I'm going to price them yet - I don't want to undersell my time and work (it is harder for me these days to draw both in terms of free time and arthritis-time lol), but I also want to keep them affordable and accessible. I'll do my best to try and find a happy medium!
The three will be: 1 Augur (a midnight cutie), 1 World Ender (a neutral baby), and 1 Phim (a very pink eye sizzler)! All of them have heart motifs for Valentine's day, but I tried to have 3 very different vibes so there's hopefully a little something for everyone's preferences uwu.
A note on Phims: I've updated them! They were kind of a blip on the radar, I only issued about 3 or so back in the day. Their core design is still there, but I've updooted them to be more satyr-like to match my current design preferences. I've also switched their floating armor to a more friendly banner variant. If you happen to own one of those rare old Phims, feel free to update them to the current design standard - if you'd like to keep them in their legacy form, that's totally fine too!
Below: my children Cradle, Witte, Lirael, and Perigee showing off a teaser of the new bases~ keeping the spirit of the OG's, but freshened up a bit, I'm quite pleased with them.

One lil aside, because Coon handles this question fairly often: unless explicitly posted for sale via bulletin, my personal characters are not for sale! Please do not ask. Just because I am not active online does not mean that I don't still love them, or that I do not draw/utilize them privately. I may be a reclusive boring adult with a full time job, but I still have a crowded brain that loves to worldbuild and my babies all still live there ;w;
Heya everyone, it is I, Glider's personal raccoon-thing she fished out of a dumpster, granted sentience and a suit and then hired as a secretary for this account! I'm just popping in here to let everyone know that there will be a Whisp auction coming up on February 14th at 7pm Mountain Time! I've seen the finished designs and boy howdy folks, you guys are in for a gosh darn TREAT.
Also while I have everyone here, I'd like to answer some of the frequently asked questions I've had to answer in the last lil bit:
Q: Is this actually Glider?
A: Nope, you're talking to me, Coon; Glider's friend and secretary. This account still belongs to Glider and she knows everything that's going on, but if you're trying to message her, you're actually getting me with her guidance on certain questions. I'm here to brave the customer service side of the social media.
Q: Who -are- you?
A: Who are any of us, really. I used to be a regular raccoon before Glider gave me a shiny rock and now I'm still a raccoon but with mediocre typing abilities and a pantsuit? (I know the messages meant what my personal username is, but this is a more hilarious reply)
Q: Are longthings actually done?
A: Yes! Between the fact that Glider isn't on art sites anymore, the thefts, the bullying and the guilt trips, it was time to put an actual definitive NO MORE to longthings. She still loves those beautiful fluffy noodles, but the certain uhm...'fans' really killed the joie de vivre and desire to make more for the public.
Q: Will Glider ever release flat-priced batches again?
A: She has considered it! They would be on fresh updated bases, and not every species will be making a comeback since she would prefer to focus on ones that bring her joy in the moment. She does have updated bases for World Enders, Phims, and Guardians already (and guys, they are amazing)
She would be willing to work on some flat-runs based on what people want most, or update a base for something people want to see again though, so don't hesitate to let us know! Though heads up: Eolai and Whisps will ALWAYS be auctions!
Q: Could I get a custom design?
A: Nope :) No customs, trades, commissions or ANYTHING of the sort. Glider's a busy woman and doesn't have the time and energy for that. What's she doing? Cool people stuff.
Q: I was scammed out of a Glider design, can you guys help?
A: Unfortunately no. Not only have Glider and myself been away for so long that we don't have records of every transfer, but neither of us have the time to resolve every single one of these messages. It's really shitty that someone scammed you, but we were over on the bench. Also, if you slide into Glider's DMs and try to guilt her into making you a replacement design, I will block you SO fast.
Q: I have a design that I want verified, but you denied my request! Why?
A: The character is either private so I cannot check the design, does not have the original Glider Design image in their gallery, has heavy edits that make me unable to verify the original design or the og art has someone else's watermark pasted all over it. When it comes to Longthings specifically, we are being EXTRA careful to avoid scams. If you see a Glider design for sale but unverified, do not buy it! If it isn't credited to Spoonfed, treat it as potentially not legit. If you have a design you want to sell or trade that's unverified, DM me! I may be feral, but I'm not mean!
Edit to add: That said, if you don't have the unwatermarked file, I will not be able to approve your design, regardless of what circumstances are. Sorry, but it's an extremely hard rule now. Further questioning on legitimacy and passive aggressive behavior will result in a ban. I've had to deal with so much in the last month of being the secretary that I am done tolerating this.
Q: Is Glider doing more auctions in the future?
A: Yes!!! There are some more auction designs in the works right now!
Q: Are any of the characters on this page for sale?
A: Absolutely not and I'd appreciate it if people stopped asking.

Happy middle-o-the-week! Hope everybody has had a good week so far, have you been up to anything interesting? I'm personally enjoying my day off for the week with the windows open, and will probably go check my garden out later to see if anything needs work u v u (and then do the indoor work I've been slacking on SOBS)
As for design work, I'm wondering if anybody following me specializes or particularly enjoys designing outfits for characters?
I'm the literal worst with outfits, and I would really like to build some classic outfits for a couple of my characters for art - I wouldn't need anything super involved, a couple of chibi renditions would be A-OK and I'm willing to pop a character base together if you need something to design on.
If that's your jam, please hit me up with some examples and quotes! I'd be happy to pay cash or work out a trade with you if there's any of my species you've been eyeballing.
In particular I'm looking for outfits along these themes:
-Cozy Casual & Tassel'd Show Wear (Paidika)
-Matching boy-ish outfits with a loosely victorian/colonial feel (Santal/Copal - Absolutes)
-fancy princely wear (Inti - Absolute)
-draped robes + bangles with a middle eastern/egyptian influence
You don't need to be capable of all of them obviously! If you specialize in one style or another, that would be fine c: I'd love to eventually have 2-3 of each.
Apologies for the radio silence across here and my FA, I've been really wrapped in my IRL full-time job, as well as dealing with recently diagnosed autoimmune & joint issues, so I usually spend my off-time just lazing around and catching up on sleep haha. ORZ
I've come back to a while slew of problems regarding stolen designs, copies, and fake Longthings. I'm really taken aback at how bad this has gotten, and I'm so sorry to those who are currently caught up trying to pick up loose ends. I'm trying to help users identify fakes and the like as I'm sent notes on FA, but it looks like I really am going to have to find some way to make a database. I just don't know how to handle that yet, or how to make it something everybody can easily use to handle trades etc, since it seems there's no one platform everybody is on :(. I'm willing to take suggestions on how to go through with that!
IN THE TIME BEING, PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH USER GURO-BOY ON ANY PLATFORM [guroboy @ refsheet.net, guro-boy @ DA, j0hnny_joestar @ Twitter, josuke-hiigashikata @ tumblr, vitreoushumor @ FA]. They are the root problem of many of these fakes I'm seeing going around, and it was brought to my attention earlier that they are still trying to pass off designs as legit. It's really a slap in the face to see one person scamming so many people, especially while claiming to be a fan of the species. If you find this user operating under any other name on any platform, please contact me so I can keep an updated blacklist.
I had intended to do a Longthing MYO as a surprise event (since I know everybody wanted one and I had been gone so long) soon, but right now I'm worried about putting a base out in the middle of all of this. It's really disheartening. HOWEVER, I would still like to host this event for all of the people who have been so supportive of me all these years. I need a little bit to sort through some issues and how to handle the event with all of this nonsense going on though - a friend has offered to help me keep tabs during it, and I would also love suggestions from others who do a lot of MYOs! Please sit tight.
Since I feel like we need a little happiness in the noodle community, I will be hosting a raffle within the next few days! I am not decided on if it will be here or on FA yet. I will be vetting accounts - suspicious users or those known to be problematic in the scamming will be passed over and blacklisted, and new accounts with little to no information will also be passed over (mostly applicable to FA accounts).

As a compliment to the winter noodle released on FA, Mistlesnow is the uni-noodle for the TH crowd! This seasonal base will be retired after auction, but uni-noodles may sometimes appear again for other special holidays.
