prompt one: all that glitters

Your character is currently in a small fishing village, some leagues south of Faline. As they are walking down the steep path to the shore and the sea, a southern wind picks up. It smells... strange. Salty, and fishy, but there is an undertone of something metallic, almost acrid. When they reach the sandy cliffs down by the water, they notice large puddles of something glittering among the gravel. It seems to be a silvery substance, shimmering in the sunlight, and the smell seems to come from the strange tracks.

When they raise their gaze to look up, for a moment they are blinded by the sun shining off a great beast of silver, slowly shambling down the coastline. A large eye-like shape, floating over its back, seems to shift its gaze restlessly. Suddenly, it focuses on your character, and large silver spikes emerge around it, ready to attack.

prompt two: silver vapors

Your character manages to avoid getting speared by the monster's silver spikes, and other mages seems to have arrived, making the Silver Scourge shift its attention from your character.

The pools of metallic substance on the ground glitter and ooze in the sunlight, the vapors emanating from them causes light-headedness and nausea.

There are already a few dead fish floating, belly-up, where the stuff has trickled into the water. A few miles south of here, there is another fishing village. This can't be goodā€”someone ought to warn them.
