(Sorry for the long post)
So I started playing on a server because I had the impulse to join a Minecraft Discord server. The community seems like the kind I'd love and I've been playing for two days now.
So have my collection of dogs and cats. I can also use the cats I get here because one of my stories requires a bunch of background cats. So the nearby village is a win-win. Also, most of them need names.
Blue Collar - Michigan. Named after a short film (it's horror. Heads up) and the name is inspired by a song from the film. (Lyric spoilers?: "Now only dogs will follow me" and short spoiler: There's a bunch of dogs and dog references. He was the first dog I got.
Cat - Unnamed. I call her Red Collar for now. My second cat.
Black Collar - Unnamed but I call him Black Collar. He's my second doggo.
This is Apricot (or Hazel? I'm unsure if I'll go with Apricot...but I'm attached to the name Apricot). Her fur reminds me of my cat, Digit (whos a white cat with some calico spots) and coffee/cappuccinos. I'll get her a brown collar once I get access to cocoa. She was my first cat.
Another kiddo in need of a name. I call them Light Gray Collar. My third cat.
I got a black cat who I'm planning to give a blue or yellow collar but I forgot to take a screenshot. This was the last cat I got today.
This is my last dog. He reminds me a lot of my character, Peach. I'll make him male since Peach used to be male lol. The doggo needs a name.
About my adventure in this world so far:
Day 1: So I spawned and entered the ghost town that was the village that was super close to spawn. I made a nice little entrance to my strip-mine and got some stuff. I headed off. I think I died and lost my things so many times; it was hard mode and mobs spawned a lot at night. Like woah. I wanted to find a place to set up my base and feel cool and gather resources by myself and then I can spend the rest of my time building cool shit at spawn. I think the furthest I got, I tried to hide so I took down a tree and dug down and about four blocks in, I fell into a ravine that was underground and died. That's what we call a pro gamer move. I decided since I ran off so far that it wasn't worth looking for those items and got everything from scratch. I learned to abuse the /home command (you can set homes that you can teleport to at will). I then gathered more things and went on my way. I ran off, found a wolf in a taiga biome I came across on my way (the dog was Michigan) and found one of those rare gravel mountain places and dug myself a hole in and it became my temporary home to hide in for the night. I found myself living there for a lot longer (more on that later).
Day 2: I joined in later. The people who ran the server were there. I then saw that there was a village nearby so I went over to it. It was a taiga village. There was a little patch of plains biome that I looked at and went "yep I wanna build here this looks hella good". I forgot what I did after. I do remember going back and forth a lot. It made me decide to go build a bridge since there was a valley with a river in the way which was a pain in the ass to cross. So my day was spent talking to people (mainly the guy who runs the server. Hella chill dude. I just met and I think I love him as a friend I'm demi I don't get crushes easily. Like woah, super chill. And the guy who runs the Discord server as well), farming for wood and sometimes other resources, and building the bridge. It was a nice, like. Maybe five hours? I finished it, befriended four cats and two dogs, observed these two villagers talking for like weeks on end in the same spot, unmoving, and just having a good time in the process. I'm looking foreword to tomorrow lol. Downside? I don't have time to work on anything before it's 1 am in my time.
Also, have my skin. It came from this meme. I find this weirdly funny for some reason and I'm not sure why.
