Have a certain video, tv show, movie, short or game thats on the tip of your tongue, or that youve been trying to find but can’t seem to find any info on it? I’ve been there! If so, this is the thread for you!

Share your mysteries to others, or help others with finding stuff about that specific media! I’ve always had a huge passion with this type of stuff so I’d love to help if I find anything of use!

can be super recent, can be super old. Can be a YouTube video, or it can be a tv show, movie, or a video game! ANYTHING.

god I’ve been meaning to make a thread like this for a while but I always forget to :( . This thread is heavily inspired by r/tipofmytongue and blameitonjorge (he makes a ton of lost media discovery videos! Go watch em if you’re interested in that stuff, it’s REALLY interesting and well made! Prob one of my favorites so far atm).

So I was trying to find a certain version of Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton. The version I'm looking for is kind of hard to describe, but it sounds kind of like a pop song and the voice is a little higher pitched (not nightcore levels of high pitched, but it's definitely different from the original voice). The song is more than likely some kind of remix, but the remixes I've listened to so far didn't match the version that I remember. I swear I used to hear the version I'm looking for in shipping tributes and/or someone's YouTube intro. I think the version I remember is probably from the 2000s to 2010s era, because that's the vibe it gives me, and it had to have been during the 2010s era when I heard it. If anyone knows what version I might be talking about, please lmk! Even if you don't know who made the remix, if you at least know of a video that uses the version I might be talking about, please send it to me!

Edit: Also I'm pretty sure the version I'm thinking of might be considered EDM? I'm not sure tbh.

I've been trying to find that one DVD-exclusive Chuckie cartoon. From what I can remember it came with a boxes of Chuckie drinks (lunchbox maybe?) and its probably available in the Philippines (I can only recall that the cast are Filipinos) though I'm not sure if its also available outside the Philippines.

From what I can recall of the plot, Chuckie and his human friends saw a volcano erupting and raining with Chuckie drinks all over the place, and so they venture out to investigate what's causing all of it. After some adventuring, they found a lost city inside a volcano and a whale with a clogged blowhole (or it got stuck in a net, I can't remember exactly) and then they save the whale and everything went peaceful.

I use to have that DVD, though because of DVD getting some scratches, and my family's spring cleaning from time to time, it got lost and I can't remember if we threw it away or it was hidden somewhere. Hopefully, I'm not the only one who only remember this DVD. If you any idea of this, do let me know!

Hi all! If anyone could help, I would really, really appreciate some help in finding two fanfictions!

The fanfictions were posted to Fanfiction.Net anytime from 2009/10 to 2019. They were Attack on Titan fanfics and were both at least 20 chapters long each.

The first fanfic basically has Eren, Annie, Bertholdt, Reiner and Ymir escape the three walls and head to a base across the sea. I feel like the base was descibed to look crystallised and that the five of them had to swim to get into the base. The latter 4 shifters are from different militaries (Not Marleyan, but militaries like the US, Egypt, etc) and could've time travelled to have that happen, but I'm not sure if I'm misremembering. Ymir could've been from the Egyptian army if that helps. They re-enter the walls, head to the Yeager household and go down to Grisha's basement. They find, in a box or coffin of some sort, Marcel or Marco (I believe it was Marcel, but could've been Marco) and he's deteriorated some, but is alive and given something to make him more 'normal'. The shifters had two large dogs that were, I believe, described as 'Hellhounds'. It could've started as one that trope where Eren would be betrayed by the Survey Corps as a whole (not the main characters though, I don't think) and the five of the shifters escaped.

The second fanfic that I'm looking for had the main survey corps characters travelling underground using tunnels that were attached to The Walls or Grisha's basement (more likely the walls) in some way. From what I remember, the characters make it to the outside of Wall Rose (so, technically in the Wall Maria area) and Eren, Mikasa, Armin and Levi are seperated from the others. I think Levi was sick/injured after the tunnels, so the trio tries looking for a place to stay, and stumble upon Mikasa's old house (before she moved in with the Yeager's). If I remember correctly, either Hanji or Sasha become a titan (Jaw titan maybe) and that Kenny and his squad are killing/hunting people and that's why the Survey Corps left. It had two parts (original and sequel). I feel as though it could've been titled something similar to 'Outmanoeuvred' but I don't believe it is that exactly, as I think there is another fanfic with that name, but it is not the one i'm looking for.

I'm sorry if this is not a lot of info to go off, but thanks in advance If you find it!! Please ping me or DM me if you know of it! Thank you!!

Ok so I've been looking everywhere for this one specific animation YouTube video and I can't find it anywhere... Here's what I remember about it

-Was probably uploaded sometime between 2015 and 2019, but I don't remember exactly when. I watched it in 2019 and 2020 but it was likely uploaded a few years prior.

-It had that "Mmm whatcha sayyyy" (Hide And Seek by Imogen Heap) song playing in the background

-The animation featured these 2 OCs fighting, one being a bunny(?) with antlers, and the other being.. I don't remember what, some quadrupedal hoofed animal, and the bunny has electric powers and zaps the other one, then we see a POV of the other OC waking up after being knocked out with blurry vision, and then somehow managing to defeat the bunny within the last few seconds

-It had pretty high quality animation from what I remember, and it was a pretty popular video. I obviously have no idea what the YouTuber's name was, but iirc the video was titled something like "Hide And Seek OC Animation" or "Hide And Seek Animation Meme" or something..

I'm starting to question if the video was just deleted entirely, but if so, I'd still like to know who the creator of it was, if anyone remembers.

Reply if you have any questions and I'll answer them!

EDIT: Nvm I found it. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZ7wKQrfpWY

Really weird thing that I posted on reddit as well, but it didn't garner any attention from there.

Year was 2005. I was on a forum where people posted a link to a website. My english was rusty at the time, so I had trouble understanding what was up, but I think the website was about a school- or kindergarten teacher setting up a motion detection camera in one of the rooms to see who'd been messing with it when everyone's supposed to be out? I remember a photo which I think was meant to show that the chair had moved as well as some other pictures. And the last image showed...someone. It was 2005 webcam quality so it was really hard to tell what it was, but he was on all fours, looked humanoid but not fully human to me and absolutely terrified me.

So I really doubt anyone's seen that website but I've been interested in finding it, just to read through the text with my current english understanding and maybe chuckle at something that gave me nightmares as a kid. The Wayback Machine won't help me, because the forum was behind a log-in screen and the owner of the forum hasn't gotten back to me.

Hi

I know it's probably quite unlikely that anyone knows what I'm talking about, but I've literally been trying to find this one song/music video for years. I once made a R/TipOfMyTongue post about it but it garnered no results.

For context, sometime between the years 2011-2015, young child me was hanging out at my grandparents' house and they were watching the music video channel (No idea which channel, btw, but I suppose that's not important). There was one music video that really caught my eye, because unlike all the other boring live action music videos, this one was a cartoon! The music video was a black and white 2D animated cartoon, with a white, quadrupedal dog with black spots (Kind of looking like Spunky from Rocko's Modern Life), and the music video featured him going through a conveyor belt with many obstacles such as swinging axes, spikes on the ground, etc, that he would have to avoid. I have no idea what era this was made in, since it could very well have been a music video that was purposely designed to appear more retro than it actually was, or maybe it actually was super old. Idk. My best guess would be that it's from sometime between the 70s and 2000's (...yeah, that's probably not narrowing it down very much, lmao).

I have absolutely no information on the song name, or any lyrics, or anything about what the song itself sounded like. The only information I can give on it is that it was sung by a male. That's literally all.

Now, before anyone guesses, let me give you a list of things that are NOT IT.

  • "Waiting For Love" by Avicii.
  • "Hit That" by The Offspring (ugh, this one was unavoidable every time I looked up "Dog animated music video". It absolutely has nothing in common with this video, however.
  • Whitewoods - Doggy Beachwalk (Okay, so this isn't it, because apparently this is a recently released song that they just added the pilot episode of Rude Dog in the background of, but I want to just say that this is VERY close to whatever I remember.)

Update: I found out that the "Doggy Beachwalk" music video actually uses footage from an older music video, as seen here. It's very possible that this could actually be the video in question, and that I just misremembered a lot about it. I'm trying to accept the fact that this might be it, but it still feels... wrong... It feels like something's missing... Oh well. I guess I'm just going to have to accept that this may be it, and that I just misremembered everything about the conveyor belt and the swinging axes and everything?

Not sure if you found it yet or not, but I think what you’re looking for is a Wakfu episode! I believe it was called Ugly Pageant.. I have yet to finish the show, but it’s one episode that’s stuck with me for awhile now.

Akari-Yuu

okay so there's this song I've been trying to find for literal years.
I believe it's by Eden Maze, as the video I found it from (sadly it's been deleted, it was a speedpaint of Koro-sensei form Assassination Classroom) used 2 songs that sounded like they were from the same artist. The first song I was able to find, A Little Good Company by Eden Maze. The second song in the video, however, I've never been able to find period. I've looked everywhere. I'd really appreciate some help!
Here are the lyrics to the song that I wrote by ear to try and find it- they are probably not accurate,,

Holding on to the love that you got,
Giving up on the lover that's not,
Every single time that this is gonna end,
Every story breaks, at least you can pretend.

Even though you know she's given it up,
You know it in your head, but your heart can't stop holding on,
Holding on...

Your friends all say you're going to fall,
It's all running through your head as you get in the car,
Holding on,
Holding on...

Oh...
Holding on...
Ooh..
Holding on...
Ooh...
Holding on...
Ooh..
