I agree with the both wolves thing above. I do like the legendaries, (and their names, I think Zamazenta is one of my favourite legendary names ever) but they have similar palettes and similar designs and it just seems a bit bland to me. I also think they could have done the whole sword thing better as well. Take away the sword and I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me they were different varieties of the same Pokemon

I agree with everything. I love them but at the same time, they seem more like part of a trio instead of box legends.
i’m not buying the new pokémon games. im disappointed in the series. sun and moon were great, but these are just too different. doesn’t even feel like pokemon to me anymore.
also,
blocking people without telling them why is ok. i see a lot of people complaining about being blocked and being like “i didn’t say anything bad.” i get where they’re coming from, but sometimes people just make me uncomfortable for reasons i can’t exactly pinpoint, and i’d rather just not see them at all.
most of the new gen 8 pokemon look... uninteresting. none of them really catch my eye except for yamper, wooloo and Gossifleur. its evo looks silly imo
You can’t expect GAME FREAK to completely change their direction for an already damned (literally) game that comes out 5 months from now. There is exactly nothing Masuda-san can do at this point.

i dont think its a good idea to keep adding the nat dex to future mainline games
bc the amount of work needed to do so would increase exponentially each gen
even if they did reuse the 3ds models, they would still need to do work on every single pokemon and this also includes extra code for new battle mechanics and moves/abilities
also the fact that they had walking animations for every pokemon but didnt put them in shows how much space a nat dex can take up
and developers on switch generally try to make smaller cartridge sizes bc switch cartridges are supposedly expensive and cost more the more storage they have (thats why dark souls remastered was compressed to 4GB despite otherwise being a big game and also why wolfenstein/doom required u to download parts of the game if u buy physical)
u can kinda tell they probably wanted to do this sooner bc there arent nat dex entries in sun/moon, u can have nat dex pokemon but they wont show up in the in-game pokedex, they only have dex entries in pokemon bank
also id rather them have more new pokemon in the galar dex than old ones
ur nat dex pokemon will be perfectly safe in pokemon home
im also more upset about the lack of cloud saves in sw/sh since pokemon is a game that can easily get to 100+ hours of play and it would be more devastating to lose ur progress
also animal crossing is another 100+ hours game without cloud saves
i also have 220 hours combined in dark souls switch counting 3 different characters and i also have some of the really hard to get equipment, guess how much cloud support that game has?
also i dont understand why they would be worried about online play related save-scumming (reloading an older save when something goes wrong, ie reloading ur pokemon save from the cloud if u regret a gts trade) cloud saves, i can only really see a very small amount of players doing that bc the process sounds tedious to do every single time something goes wrong
also another thing
i think botw looks really ugly on a tv (gorgeous in portable mode)
idk how it looks on home tvs but at store displays on their hd tvs theres really ugly outlines everywhere that u dont see in handheld mode

I know there are bad / innapropirate gacha videos and the fact that making a mediocre one doesn't take a lot of effort, but gacha in general isn't that bad. the apps are useful to get inspiration for character designs, well-made gacha series do exist, and the people that complain about the videos often aren't the target audience anyways.
it could also be that I watched a lot of lps videos when I was younger so I have a bit of a bias ^^'
