EXAMPLE TIME WITH LOKIBUTT

Name: Loki
Pronouns: he/him
Species: Vampire
Age: ~600 years dead
Presence among humans: Loki varies between maintaining the veneer of humanity and simply erasing human memories and hypnotising them into not caring that he doesn't look human.

Short Bio: Loki is a very old and very notorious vampire who has since mellowed a little but in the previous century was very territorial. These days he spends his time flitting around and not doing anything productive with his life which, honestly, he has never really done anyway. His vampire senility is the obession with breaking and changing his own patterns of behaviour and challenging his previous ideals or methods. This makes him a very irritating or dangerously unpredictable person to be friends with, and he doesn't have many. Loki is generally cheery and friendly but a little wild, and mostly rather sadistic or just plain manipulative towards humans. He has a lot of experience to fall back on but he's neither creative nor intelligent, and gets by on raw charisma and by being historically extremely hard to kill.

Personality in 5 words: excitable, malicious, unpredictable, happy-go-lucky, egotistical
Relationships with other characters/species/factions: Loki's one redeeming feature might be that he genuinely cares for his 2 wards. Unfortunately for everyone else, one of them is the tyrant vampire Queen Alice, putting him in a legal grey space because technically he has command of the queen so any actions she takes against him could be countermanded. Fortunately he loves and supports her rise to power, along with his other ward George, who he has a more complicated relationship with as ex-lovers. Loki avoids other magical creatures because their blood is disgusting, and avoids magic users because they're usually trouble.

Skills/abilities: short-range teleport, monster form that can fly/has claws, powerful regeneration, very sharp hearing, absolute power of hypnosis on humans (non-humans and altered humans are much less strongly affected, or usually not affected at all)
Weaknesses: touch of cold iron negates or weakens most of his abilities, weak to binding/defensive spells vs. evil creatures, passes out and bruises to death in sunlight, cannot enter human abodes (pushed out by invisible force)

RP notes: Loki is a little OP and has a very overwhelming personality, so if I do use him for RP I'd like to discuss some details first, just so I don't cross any lines and we're both on the same page! c:

Name: Amarin
Pronouns: She/Her/They/Them
Species: Dragon
Age: Unknown (About a couple of hundred)
Presence among humans: She isolated from human and lives behind a heavily cascading waterfall that only durable creature could reach.

Short Bio: An averange sized female feathered-dragon who lives in the waterfall. She has glossy waterproof feathers, they wouldn't bend nor got wet even when she flying through streak of falling water. Has feathery, fluffy on the surface but hard like diamond in the inside scales called "Diamond Plumage" all over the body except wings, crest, neck fluff and tail. These scales are quite valuable. Her eyes are rarely open, as she navigates with her tongue.

Personality in 5 words: Chill, Naive, Easygoing, Playful, Cuddly
Relationships with other characters/species/factions: Despite her chilling and easygoing nature, Amarin tend to be careful with any creatures she see(or sense, technically) including fellow dragon if she wasn't sure. Especially anything humanoid, she will immediately retreat before getting spotted.

Skills/abilities: Pressure-resistant wings/feathers; able to fly through cascading waterfall or heavy rain. Very agile when wet. Navigate things with tongue (like snake)
Weaknesses: Surprisingly, fire or heat is Amarin's weakness. She can easily gets dry out by the heat of flame or being out in the sun on a hot day too long. Her wings are the only part that isn't scaled with Diamond Plumage, thus, any weapon aiming for her wings can cut through and injure her.

Name: Kuro, Kuroyuzu, Shou Kurosawa (current legal name)
Pronouns: he/him
Species: japanese dragon (good luck/bad luck element)
Age: ~250
Presence among humans: Has a human form and lives normally as a human, most of the times he is in his natural form these days it's within the confines of his own home where nobody can see him.

Short Bio: People's first impressions of Kuro are usually that he is a.) very gay and b.) a little outrageous and probably involved in something shady. Both of these are only half true: Although his mannerisms are camp and feminine Kuro is pansexual with both very broad and very specific tastes, and while he absolutely relishes the shady underground world of humanity he himself is a mischievous but fundamentally good person. He can't resist poking at drama, or toying with those who are at the mercy of their own ego or greed, and spends a lot of his free time in bars and clubs looking to spectate (or cause) trouble. Besides his strange hobbies though, Kuro is a fundamentally kind creature who wouldn't hesitate to help a genuinely good or troubled person in need. To those who are kind of a bastard though, Kuro can be fickle, mischievous, and often in the end more trouble than it was worth dealing with him.

Personality in 5 words: composed, flirtatious, kind, smug, naughty
Relationships with other characters/species/factions: Part of the eastern dragon OC collective I seem to have accumulated: Is on-off life partners with Happon and respectful friend of his elders Enyuu and Tenmitsu. Likes other types of yokai on principle unless they are particularly evil. He is good friends with a small number of human sex workers he has helped in the past who are unaware he is a dragon, and has many less close human friends and acquaintances in various bars and clubs.

Skills/abilities: Kuro has the innate ability to manipulate chance and fortune any direction he pleases. The more certain the outcome, the less he is able to influence it, but his favourite pastime of messing with the gambling underground comes very easily. Kuro's good fortune extends to himself, and is his main means of both supporting himself and defending himself should it ever come to that.
Weaknesses: Despite being essentially a very large snake that can fly, Kuro is physically not very strong, and in terms of claws and teeth is sorely outmatched by just about anything larger than a large dog. He can be bound by charms and spells, especially those of the darker arts or those involving gold, and the touch of a murder weapon or the blood of a murdered human causes him great pain.

RP notes:  Kuro is one of those people who is just naturally flirty as part of the way he talks, please disregard it as actual filrtation unless we've already established such a scenario may happen >u< For the sake of rp Kuro speaks flawless english, but if he's actually speaking "translated japanese" in an RP and it becomes relevant; he speaks semi-formally with feminine phrasing ("-wa", "-ne" etc.) and refers to himself as "watashi" or "atai" if he's being silly.

Name: Happon, Hacchan/Hassan, legally going by Hachikazu Aokawa most of the time these days but his real name is much longer
Pronouns: He/him, they/them
Species: Japanese dragon (water element), minor locality deity
Age: ~550 (appears about 20-25)
Presence among humans: Lives as a human, slips back into dragon form to play in rivers or rain when no-one is around and always slightly in danger of being exposed as a result

Short Bio: Happon is a simple, joyful creature characterised by being physically boisterous and always moving, talking, laughing. He's always generous with his affection and eager to be friends, avoiding hardship or conflict of any kind. When things turn darker or the tension spikes, his response is usually nervous laughter and getting out of the situation as fast as possible. Despite that, Happon is still an ancient creature of nature with a base, wild form of wisdom that he can share with others sometimes, and just having him around increases healing and general wellbeing. Happon is unable to stay still physically but also in his life, moving from part-time job to part-time job as he gets bored, moving on from home to home and friend to friend as well. This wanderlust nature is part of who and what he is; a creature of the river. Although his river is shared by several other supernatural creatures and his link to it isn't very strong, there is still something of the river about him even in human form: His movements both rush and flow, and he carries the feel and the scent of water and rain with him. Other than that, he's kind of just a Lad; excited by food, beer, and making new friends.

Relationships with other characters/species/factions: Another of my noodle dragon collective, Happon is best friends and on-off lovers with Kuroyuzu as his wanderlust and short attention span dictate. He has the same ties to the other dragons as he does, though has a little more difficulty being formally respectful of his elders. Happon tends to leave a trail of annoyed human friends/lovers in his wake, as he's extremely unreliable as a partner and tends to just drift out of contact. He's also quite technologically inept, being a little behind the times, and doesn't know how to use a phone properly.

Skills/abilities: Happon can summon rain from a clouded sky, and as far as supernatural abilities go, that's about it. He has a benefical aura but the effect is passive, and he has no control over it. As far as human skills are concerned Happon is laughably (or frustratingly) inept, and it's a good thing he doesn't need much money because he tends to suck at every job he does, either from genuine lack of skills or just from daydreaming all day. As a water dragon he can both fly and swim, and can hold his breath for about an hour.
Weaknesses: Happon has no major weaknesses other than his own lack of will to fight, and the fact that he is physically unremarkable for a creature of his size.

RP notes: Happon is a physical hermaphrodite even in human form, which probably won't come up in most RP but he's quite open about the fact if it's mentioned. Like with Kuro, for the purposes of RP Happon can speak perfect english, but if the conversation is taking place "in japanese" he uses very casual (almost childish) masculine language with a thick Kansai-midland dialect, and refers to himself as "ore".

Pronouns:  He/him
Species:  Half kitsune, half forest spirit
Age:  26
Presence among humans: Caine has been living among humans since he was 16, and just stays in his human form. He is very cautious about using his dream form so he's very unlikely to be found out.

Short Bio: 

Caine was born to an abusive forest spirit father and a timid kitsune mother. His father kept him and his mother secluded from another other sentient life, beating and abusing both as he saw fit. In time, as Caine grew, his father tried to train him to be strong, but Caine's kind heart only made his father more vicious with him. It came to a head when Caine was 16, and in an accident his father murdered his mother before his eyes, so Caine fled and hid among humans for the first time. It was also when he made his first friend, a human child named Oliver. Oliver helped curb Caine's anger and his want for revenge against his father, but just when things were getting better, an accident killed Oliver, something Caine knew was his father's doing. He confronted his father, but the fight ended in Caine having 8 of his 9 tails ripped off viciously, and dumped in a human hospital. He has been living on the streets ever since, fearful of his father finding him again.

Personality in 5 words:  Emotional - Desperate - Guarded - Paranoid - Tired
Relationships with other characters/species/factions: 

Caine has had no interaction with other species, and doesn't really know what does or doesn't exist. He knows what humans smell like with his strong fox nose, and would be able to tell when something smelled off, but that is it. He's more likely to avoid other magical creatures than seek them out.

Skills/abilities:  Fire Ability: Caine has the ability to create and control fire on command. He primarily uses this as a fear or surprise tactic, and highly dislikes hurting anyone or animals with it. 

Feral Form: Caine's natural form is that of a large golden fox with antlers and a lot of scarring. Due to this, even in his human form, he has the keen senses of a fox, and usually can tell when someone is around by hearing or scenting them. 

Strong Athletics: He was trained his entire childhood by his father, and as such knows a lot of hand to hand combat, how to knife fight, as well as how to use the teeth and claws of his feral form. He's a natural climber and runner, and can carry a lot of weight easily, though he usually has no desire to.
Weaknesses: 

Dislikes using His Abilities: Caine is paranoid of his father finding him again and ruining his life once more, so he avoids shifting or using fire at almost all cost. He's very paranoid, and only changes forms when he is traveling or needs to hide in a small space. 

Natural Fear of Fire: Caine is very worried about burning someone or setting the environment on fire, so he uses this even less and always in very small doses. 

Bad Social Skills: Due to growing up secluded and never being able to interact with other children, or even have many friends, he is generally bad with people, and will need patience and understanding to be allowed into a group. He usually comes off mean, insensitive, or blunt, so very sensitive types don't usually get along with him, even if he didn't mean it.

RP notes: 

Caine is a good leader and cares about people, especially children, though he'd never admit it. It's easy to get him involved with good people if they need help, and he will not hesitate to put himself in danger in order to help a stranger, though befriending him and getting him to stay after is more difficult. He thinks too much and can come off as rude or rash, but he means well and is a very loyal friend once a bond is established. 

Absolutely no shipping, but very welcome to bonding with kids, as he makes a naturally good big brotherly type.

Name: Litan

Pronouns: He / Him

Species: Sea Serpent

Age: 17 (Physically)

Presence among humans: He predominately hides away with the use of technology to compress his serpentine form into a stable humanoid body. Features of his actual form can be seen time to time with slip ups, but appears normal for the most part. Despite having the cloaking ability, he has been conditioned to keep his distance away from cities and towns as well as humans in general to ensure he keeps hidden. Though he is curious about them, he would be hesitant to step in one alone unless he direly needed something.

Short Bio: A serpentine monster from years ago that was tamed by a human mage and given a form to conceal itself in and hide from monster hunters. He was originally given the form to assimilate seamlessly into human culture, although with the bad company he often acquired due to naivety and cluelessness on how their society operated, he found himself being more of a lone forest dwelling figure. Litan often resides by bodies of water, preferably large lakes and waterfalls as they feel the most homely to him. Occasionally, he will meet travelers and guide them towards the direction of the nearest city or offer them food, but he does not have much experience socially with others.

Personality in 5 words: Mischievous, Naive, Optimistic, Attention-seeking, Playful

Relationships with other characters/species/factions: He is typically distant from humans with a few exceptions, though is comfortable socializing with most creatures he does not need to hide from. He is still hesitant from being completely open about his other form regardless due to negative reception in the past as well as occasional feral outbreaks if triggers are present.

Skills/abilities: He has the ability to manipulate water, although rarely uses this ability for things other than assisting with fishing. A water source must be present to draw from or to extract moisture from. Litan also has the form he suppresses as a weapon if need be, but it is rare for him to use it in combat due to possible instability.

Weaknesses: He is completely deaf and has bloody scarring where ears once seemed to be. Most of his communication is done through lip reading or touch. He has other long scars across the length of his back that are tender and weak.

RP notes: Any relationships are welcome, but any romantic pairings won't be canon.

Name: Ashe
Pronouns: She/Her
Species: Air Dragon
Age: Pushing 1,000
Presence among humans: She hides among them, usually taking a job in a book store or library. If she needs to 'stretch her wings' she tends to hide around mountains or flies higher than plans.

Short Bio: Born back in the 12th Century, Ashe as watched the world changed and has tried to not play any part in it. The few times she felt compelled to interact with history have mostly been to save artifacts, the most recent was helping remove the paintings from the Louve before the Nazis invaded Paris.

Personality in 5 words: Quiet, Aloof, Unassuming, Observer, Sage
Relationships with other characters/species/factions: She tends to stay to herself, though she does have a "family" unit with three other dragons. She's more likely to trust other dragons over any other speices.

Skills/abilities: Can control and minipulate the air around her (think Air Bending with a touch of X-Man's Storm)
Weaknesses: Thunder and Lightning will have her dashing for cover. Static Electricity messes with her as well.

RP notes: Due to her age, Ashe knows many languages, though tends to stick to Irish Galic and English. She'll not talk until someone talks to her, and it might take a while to warm up to you.
