by having a character be both scary AND pretty u can create an unsettling effect

thanatos is an undead god who is both terrifying and beautiful
btw my fave variation i think is a character who is mostly terrifying but there is also something eerily beautiful/majestic about them

I think Ballius is the only character I can recall being told by others that he's both scary and also that he's pretty, eheheh
Joker is made for entertainment due to being a jester, so he needs to look attractive and colourful. Despite all that, he has a skull face that is real and working. He seems to be more pretty than scary due to all the pink and pastel tones but he is kinda sinister sometimes, every other time he is just like a giant puppy entertaining people.
He is in major development so his profile kinda looks ugly
