I didn’t see a thread like this, and I was curious, so here we are.
For the record, I'm asking about your character with the most expensive current value, not just the one with the most expensive initial price (although you could do either, it doesn't really matter).
probably shane? i don't keep track of how much i've spent on my ocs bc most of my art either comes from art trades, gift art, or is stuff i drew myself, and i'd feel bad adding that to their total value since i didn't really spend money on it, but since i don't plan on ever parting with him i'm pretty happy to say theoretically he's my most valuable hfjhfjsk. it'd take a decent chunk of money and me to be in a very dire position to get me to even consider parting with him if that counts for anything.
i've only ever bought one design, and that's skye, so disregarding the art i've collected of my characters, she'd definitely be the priciest, and i still got her for pretty cheap. but all of my other characters were either designed by me or given to me by a friend.
According to my notes, I've spent a total of 241USD on her. Most of that was on this picture, though ^^;

Vaxir probably. Been commissioning her since 2010... Only 1/10th of her art is on here since lots is outdated due to her changes over the years. Value? I dare not think.
This girl has my most commissioned art pieces, and plus is just perfect design wise(yeah I'm biased I don't care :p) so together, yeah easily worth the most of all mine.

I never ever price my OCs anything other that "priceless", TBH. I mean I guess it'd be good to start keeping up with the expenses haha. That aside, I've never considered selling them and I hope I would never have to part with them in any way.
prolly this guy.. ive spent roughly $400+ in commissions thus far (still got some pending) so he outnumbers a lot of my ocs that ive spent a good chunk upfront for :V
though a good majority of the comms are couple comms soo
