I didn’t see a thread like this, and I was curious, so here we are.
For the record, I'm asking about your character with the most expensive current value, not just the one with the most expensive initial price (although you could do either, it doesn't really matter).
Her. She's a cypher grem and if you know anything about the species, they're.. yeah. And I'm pretty sure I set a temporary record for the species. Ha.
I'm.. not actually proud of my past decision, but I love her to absolute bits. I won't say the number directly either, but I'm sure you could find it if you looked.
I think it's Veni, from what I spent on her commission-wise? She still makes me very happy though and will probably not leave my side for a loong time so - it was all worth it <3
(Also, for those who might be ashamed of spending much money on OCs: as long as you can sustain yourself and spend enough money on food etc.- totally do what makes you happy in life! Wether it's buying expensive shoes or art.)
Definitely Kyna here. Made the design myself then commissioned a friend to actually draw her, and I've commissioned the same friend so many times for more art of her. At least $100
i'm pretty sure it's Hiku here, though I think his value is tied with Keijo, but Hiku has more art pieces currently.
I haven't gotten the chance to update his art value with recent commissions, but I estimate I've spent close to $370 by now? The large majority of that comes from the custom plush I commissioned for him, but I've definitely spent a good amount on art too aha
As a sidenote, it's interesting to see the different ranges everyone has for their most expensive character!! Some of y'all have super spoiled kids like me, but it's also really sweet to see how others love their characters without necessarily spending as much. I think it's pretty cool how everyone has different experiences in the character community and different ways of participating, in this case financially (:

ive gotten quite a bit of art n plotting done for kanou and ein as a couple +0+ ein is a character ive had for years, but kanou was a $15 chibi moodboard custom i got kinda on a whim... and suddenly he and ein somehow became my spoiled rotten faves dkkdfk,, theyre worth close to $800 as a pair but are never going anywhere hahahaa
That'll be this boi. Honestly I love his design and arts enough that I don't really mind if he's a CS or not, but he turned out to also be a LH, so I'm actually pretty happy about the price despite it's in the hundreds :3
