Brazilian names (I'm from Brazil) and they just sound terrible amidst the beautiful sounding names I see around...

When it comes to naming OCs, there are some names no matter how appropriate meaning-wise or how much I like them... I never use because it reminds me too much of another person.
Are any names unusable for you?

Names of family members mostly. Also the names Naomi and Sara. Too much bad associated with those two for me to name a character that.
Wouldnt ever use my family member names or my own name. Also im avoiding to have japanese names x''D I DONT KNOW WHY i just dont think they fit to any of my char ideas etc, maybe someday....
I can't name ocs with names of people I know, or names my friends named their ocs! ;0; It's just too weird,,I also have an oc that, if named Maximilian, would be good foreshadowing but like,, I hate that name haha
eli, elijah, kayley, noelle, noel, variants of those. same with the names ella or axel. i don't care much for overly feminine names, like hailey or elizabeth, either.
Oh boy, I have a mile long list of names I like, and why I like them. Here are a few!
Kazz, Wheatley, Whinston, Jiminy, Sammy, Fin/Finn, Excalibur (which I almost used once), Geist, Kip, Jane, and Dustin.
I try to avoid most 'common' or overused names (John, Sally, etc) and I don't think I'd use my family or friend's names, but as for ones I totally won't use? Justin or Trent. Those are the names of my biological father, who was abusive. I don't like to be reminded of him every time I see those names so I try to avoid them. I've thought about maybe using them to attempt to associate the names with something more pleasant, but I think it would just make me look at the characters negatively ;u; I also generally won't use the names that belonged to any of my crushes because it's so awkward haha
I don’t use American or English names, because America wasn’t a thing in the timeframe of my setting, and I don’t think Britain was either. I also can’t use names of family since it’s awkward.
I tend to stick with German and Slavic names. The name says a lot about the tribe they came from. I will probably use some old Latin names in the future, too.
Specific names I never use are “Ana/Anna” (too common), “Havana” (pet name), “Alexandra” (too common).
I try to avoid names of people that I know in real life. It’s sort of awkward for me for somone reason? Also names I have a negative association with.
To be honest I also LOVE common names or names that end that end in a “ee” sound. Give me all your Johns and Sallies for all I care!! Oh, and names that sound like last names.
