Rhys is a two-bit streetkid who work(ed) for a major crime boss in his city.
From the seediest back alleys to the opulent pent houses and offices of the most lavish towers to even the house next door to behind the highest offices of some governments or companies. There's one common element that binds all these places together and it's as much a part of human nature as anything else. Crime. From things as simple as stealing food to survive to some crimes which could be considered especially heinous. From the most petty misdemeanors to the vicious felonies. Criminals exist in all strata of daily life. Some have been caught and others are still at large. That's where this thread comes into play. This thread is for criminals of all shapes and forms. From all settings from the most fantastical, the most futuristic, the most contemporary? It doesn't matter. If you have yourself a character who is or was a criminal in some shape or form. Have they been caught for shop lifting and had to pay a fine? Assassinated a head of state and is on the run? Committed some unspeakable act and is now waiting on death row...or worse? Perhaps they were never caught at all? This is the thread for them.
There are some rules however
- Given the nature of this thread there is a very real chance some seriously sensitive topics might come up? While this thread won't be marked as mature, as not all crimes might be particularly nasty, be smart in what you talk about and how. For example. For sensitive subjects please black out the text like this. Example text. Along with that. This thread will be less to recount the vivid graphic details of the crime and more simply letting people know what they did. For example. You can have a character that maybe be a serial killer. Try to frame it as just that. Saying what they are and maybe alluding to some of their crimes but keep any actual descriptions vague and PG-13 at worse. We don't need to know about particularly graphic details of a person's crimes.
- Try not to romanticize what your character did if they did something particularly awful. By which, I mean, if say your character is a war criminal don't try to describe their crimes in a good light for example. There are exceptions to this rule such as the aforementioned stealing to eat but things such as war crimes, sexual assault, serial murder, or crimes against children? Don't frame those things as good or noble.
- You can either post your characters one at a time or as a group in an OOC post. Post options are perfectly valid. Just try not to dominate an entire page with your characters. So if you are posting a few on their own? Try to only do three at a time and let more people post in the interim before you go back to going one at a time.

This girl's killed plenty of people (Who deserved it, but it's murder so whoopsie on her part) but Saintsummer City laws and all police force went to crap years ago in the story so she's fine as long as someone that wants to avenge the murdered doesn't come up and get revenge. BUT she did murder before the laws became a mess but still wasn't caught even then.
Nasty crime man joins a world-ending cult because he's desperate to live and succeed better than everyone else.
His crimes include:

-Gang violence (though he's no longer a part of said gang)
-Murder (successful and unsuccessful)
Spade's a world-renowned art thief! Never been caught, and doesn't plan on it anytime soon. His front is a being a regional manager to a chain of casinos, which the gang he's a part of secretly uses to smuggle stolen goods all around. He joined said gang at 14 to support his family, and has since risen to the top 10 years later. He hates ultra-rich people hoarding money with a BURNING passion, ever so reminiscent of his awful father, so he'd never steal from anyone that doesn't have the funds to spare.
His younger brother- who he loves to death- wants to be a detective, and thus is a private investigator's apprentice, which has lead to some...interesting, comedic circumstance. He'd never try and steer him away from his passion, though. That'd be cruel. (Fun fact: Said younger brother is a character made by my real life younger brother. I'd link him, but he doesn't have a toyhouse yet.)

(im not any where near done planning his character out but,) the jist of Xander is that he may be young-ish (18) for a hitman, but he's very skilled in it! he usually only goes for "commoners" but if he's paid enough, he can go for higher ups (i.e. celebs, political officials, etc.) he's only gone to prison once because of a foolish mistake he made when he was barely starting the job ! he didn't stay too long though, he escaped as soon as he could
he was executed for stealing a bunch of magical items from a very powerful noble family. ended up cursed and returning as a ghost... a few hundred years later, he ended up attacking a strong spellcaster and destroying much of her property after a very aggravating confrontation. she sent his soul to her own personal plane, where he got stuck for a few more centuries. not quite an arrest but... he doesn't really learn from his mistakes easily lol
and my other criminal! they're in a campaign where they're serving a life sentence for a variety of crimes from desecration of sacred temples to murder to trespassing. they're very much not a good person

Argako - He’s stolen from trolls, murdered and tortured adult and children sea dwellers on her gameshow, and purposely triggers his victims for fun.
Poppie - She’s broken a restraining order once and has attempted murder.
Lemmon - Murder, cannibalism, kidnapping, breaking and entering, and stalking.
Mitsti - Murder, assault and robbery.
Ooooga & Boooga - Stealing to eat.
Adhzan - Verbal assault and cyberbullying.
Meekra - Murder of the highest degree, torture, illegal dealing activities.
Eeyboi - Help / assistance with murder of the highest degree.
Burman - Corruption, accepting bribes, kidnapping, and domestic abuse.
Menewt - Murder, Gambligants are against the law in Alternia but i don’t know the human equivalent to the crime.
Malwak - Murder, torture, assault, distribution and trading / selling of slaves, public disturbance.

Somzai - oh boy this is a big one. Robbery, corruption, child neglect, child abuse, manipulation, child murder, murder, assault, ownership of slaves, war crimes, kidnapping, broken restraining orders, genocide, hate crimes, torture, and making discrimination based laws. There’s more but for the sake of keeping this short, these are the main ones. Yea he’s a terrible guy and he’s not getting redeemed. He’s also manipulated the tyrant who has a developmental disorder. 😬

Vridom - He’s a tyrant so he’s really bad, let’s just say he’s committed several war crimes.
Midani - Murder, Torture, Illegal dealing activities.

One that really isn’t a crime is Seshii’s crime status which is disobedience and attempted assault of their master and attempted escape. It’s not a real life crime but since she’s a slave, things work differently for her,
Sinistira is a villain/criminal in every sense of the word due to the atrocious war crimes she's committed across the galaxy in her masters name. Her mission is to cull every existing Jedi bloodline and those associated with them, at whatever means necessary. Despite how cruel some of her hunting methods can be, she tends to enjoy them, and see's it as her rightful place in the galaxy's order to clean it of force-enabled blood.
Rikki is a supervillain that juices up on steroids to power up his attacks.
People assume he's dull due to his size and his "roid" addiction. On the contrary. He's actually quite charismatic. He smooth talks his way into various crime networks. Its allowed him to live a fairly cushy lifestyle. Even behind bars. Not a Kingpin... but not a goon either. It's how he found his current girlfriend.
He's able to get big work done cheaply by employing friends and family members who have fallen on hard times. The salary he pays is handsome... but it's virtually nothing for the work that he's asking them to do.
His girlfriend Dianne is the heiress of a pharmaceutical company that specializes in steroids. Her and her brother were supposed to get equal shares. She used her share for crime, earning her trillions, choking out the "white collar" operations of the other sibling.
The two have a very "Bonnie & Clyde" aesthetic.
