Starpoint Tower is a location known deepest by Keita Archijd – an Ex-Order researcher and publisher of The Corruption Echo Theory. It was in this tower in 1234 that Keita used samples gathered from Archmage Hagias corruption and tested them in a series of experiments using different concentrations of cosmic light through a marvellous contraption of varied looking glasses and telescopic lenses.

The results of the experiment were a resounding and life changing success. In that moment, the residual corruption from Archmage Hagia’s remnants reacted to the Corruption Echo’s light and caused an intense and remarkable explosion. Arcs of mighty energy burst forth filling Keita with Corruption Echoes and equally terrifying, tearing the very fabric of reality in the towers top.

The small tear in space and time is small and seems stable, for now. It is almost impossible to see unless in the right light but seems to thrum and react physically when Keita is nearby.

Those attuned to spacelike magic may feel a slight and faint ringing in their ears but nothing more, and unless they had read Keita’s work deeply, would not be attuned or even remotely think a tear could exist.

• Very few had interactions with Keita when they were closing in on their breakthrough of The Corruption Echo Theory. Some evidence of Keita's findings remain somewhere within the Orders Library, but much of it has been redacted by Archon Miriam. It is not likely that your mage would know of the significance of this place unless they had a hunger and obsession for learning more around corruption.

• Mages who stumble across the tower get an uneasy or a feeling to overlook the tower – it is just a non descript pile of rubble or rats nest, only the most perceptive would dare to look inside.

• You can sense that something might be there on the top floor, for those that do enter, but you likely do not want to tangle with it.

• You may see a small trick of the light – a liquid like visual blip in three dimensions hovering in the centre of the top of the tower. It strings and streams and blurs its surroundings with every step. You can pass through it – it does not seem to react to you at all.

• Those with any form of space magic may hear a strange hum or ring when getting closer to the tear, but no amount of magic seems to cause it to react or change in any way.

• There is one instance of another interacting with the tear, Ravenflight, but what seemed to happen is all here say, but you know nothing good came of it.

• Any mage who has an understanding of the layers of worlds and planes can feel something is amiss; the strange tear may have something to do with it, but cannot seem to test any theory against it.

• In the unlikely event you are near the tower when Keita is nearby, only they can seem to make the tear react, visually and spatially. Unless you are by their side, business as usual.
