Design questions

Need help while or before designing your Starnie? Feel free to ask here and send wips if you're unsure about something! Final approval for a design should be sent to "New Starnie Approvals" but you can check in here first if you'd like~

jaethewalruss So glad to see this is working!

Yes! Your Starnie can have as many star strands as you'd like as long as you don't use star strands of a higher rarity than your Starnie~ Legendary myos have access to all the traits (except for Special traits which are not listed yet). Rare has access to rare, uncommon, and common. Uncommon has access to Uncommon and Common. Common can only use common traits. Do let me know if any of that sounds confusing and I'll do my best to clarify 💕

multai_kahoot Thank you for the question!

You can absolutely base your Starnie on a dragon! Hooves are not a special or legendary trait! Any Starnie can have them~

If you wanted, you could make a 3 headed mongoose with 8 pairs of wings and tentacle arms Starnie with a common myo. Since they are shifters, they can look like just about anything~ The major rarity limitations are magical or non-organic traits with a few miscellaneous things listed as uncommon traits. Usually if an organic form is not listed as a trait then any Starnie can use it but if you are ever unsure, feel free to ask💕

xSunsetGlowx

can starnies have heterochromia?(ex. one eye is galaxy one is rainbow)

and with or without heterochromia, could we combine it with the advanced shapes pupils?(if myo suits-)

4LeafRose

xSunsetGlowx Yes! A single eye can only have one color without a two-toned iris or rainbow trait though... But if you are using a Rare myo this is no problem at all~

Traits may certainly be combined and I'm so excited to see what you come up with! >v<

Ascherinno

I received a legendary MYO via the event, and I have questions about traits. For eye overflowing energy, can I make it so that only one eye has this trait? Or does it have to be both.?

Also for ears that are filled, what kinds of things can the ear be filled with, and what type of ear can filled ears be.?

Thank you for your time!

4LeafRose

Ascherinno Ooh these are really good questions! Thank you for asking!

You may certainly have the trait only effect 1 eye if this is what you wish!

Filled ears can be any kind of ear as long as you have the corresponding myo/trait rarity!  You can fill the ears with just about anything (within reason). Filled ears CANNOT have living organisms in them. The only exception to this are plants but only if the plants are considered part of the Starnie and not separate organisms. (If you missed this before, Starnies can technically shift into plant-life)

If you have any more questions are something you'd like me to elaborate further on, feel free to ask! >v<

-B-has-so-many-OCs-  It's up the your discretion~ there is not really too little but too much would be like a river coming from the overflow. A steady stream would be fine though~ Hope that helps ^^

Lizzilz

Hi! I have a question about ear traits!

I have an uncommon MYO, am I correct in understanding that wing ears and humanoid ears can’t be on the design at the same time without the Starnie being rare rarity? But being shapeshifters, it’s still possible for them to appear with one or the other separately? I just ask because I‘m drawing them as humanoid and really want to give them wing ears, but it feels very odd drawing without adding human ears too, haha :3

4LeafRose

Lizzilz Yes that is correct! The multiple ear trait restricts the Starnie to one pair of ears at a time but does not restrict how many different shapes their ears can take! You can't use the wing ears and the human ears at the same time without the multiple ear trait but lemme give you a loophole... You can technically still put wings on their head that ARE NOT ears (just flappy lil wings) and have regular ears ;0

Let me know if that doesn't make sense or if you have any other questions ~

MythicalBookWorm

Hi there! I have a question with traits and rarities. I have a rare Starnie, but I want to use a couple uncommon traits along with rare traits. Is that allowed?

4LeafRose

MythicalBookWorm of course! >v< You can use any traits in or below the Rarity of myo you have! The only traits you can't use with a Rare myo are Legendary and Special

MythicalBookWorm

4LeafRose Okay, thank you so much!
