Ambinetic Art Style Challenge!

Welcome to Ambinetic's March 2023 Art Contest!

The event runs from March 1st to March 31st - Voting occurs from April 1st to April 7th - Winners are announced on the 8th

Techwave Initiative is interested in seeing Ambinetics depicted in creative artistic ways that break the mold of what the artist normally makes!

How it Works

For this prompt we are looking for group members to challenge themselves by working in a style they have never used before or perhaps only attempted to experiment with once or twice. The newer it is to you the better! We would like your images to be split in half, one side showing your typical art style, while the other shows off the style you experimented with!
We are looking for creativity and a willingness to step out of your artistic comfort zone! Any art style is permitted, including using different mediums such as 3D modeling or traditional methods!
For the experimental style please feel free to get wild with the colors and shape language if you desire! The depiction of your Ambinetic in the experimental style does not need to be 100% accurate to their typical design. ( So you can use a limited palette or experiment with proportions!
With this contest we hope that some participants might even discover styles or techniques they really enjoy or might even be able to incorporate in their typical art if they desire! Of course this is not the goal, we are just hoping you all have fun with it and enjoy the process!

No bases or YCH can be used for entries
The piece must be newly made specifically for the contest, no old art
You can use your own Ambi, the NPCs, or a someone else's Ambi so long as you have permission
You can include more than one Ambi in your submission as well as humans! But Ambi must be the main focus!
If your submission is 18+ in nature we request a censored version for voting purposes and will have a link to your submission in the voting post but the display image will be an 18+ warning
You can submit more than one entry but only the one that places highest will count for potential prizes
Submissions must be commented on this forum before the deadline to be counted!
Please be sure to offer us a large enough file of your image for viewing and voting purposes!
