Welcome to Ambinetics April 2023 Writing Event!

The event runs from April 1st to April 30th - Participation Prizes will be awarded on May 1st

For a Bonus Prize voting occurs from May 1st to May 7th - Winners will be announced on the 8th

Techwave Initiative is interested in hearing what the community, alongside Ambinetics, get up to! Whether you’re valued clientele or simply work alongside Ambinetics, all submissions are appreciated by the company! TI Staff Ambi Shade will be personally reviewing all entries!

Details

How it Works

  1. For this prompt we are looking for group members to challenge themselves by working with a randomly assigned participant in order to come up with a short story between their submitted characters!
  2. You'll be working together and coming up with a plot between your characters. From bumping into one another on the street, getting into a nightclub brawl, or a date gone wrong - it can be anything! Here is an easy to use Scenario Generator if you need a little help!
  3. We recommend paired participants discuss their characters with one another: who are they? How would they respond to certain situations? These interactions are key!
  4. You can plot together to write something out in a short story format or do a roleplay thread with your characters! How your team decides to do it is totally up to you both so long as both have a fair say in the story!
  5. With this event we hope that participants might discover new connections for their characters, and/or themselves!
  6. We will be accepting forms until April 5th at 11:59PM EST
  7. On April 6th participants will be sent a note here on TH with information on who they have been assigned! From there it is up to both parties on where they would like to communicate with one another whilst creating their entry.
  8. PRIZE UPGRADE - If one or both team members create an art piece to go with their written submission your participation prize will be upgraded! Check out the PRIZES section below for more info!

Rules

  1. You will be randomly assigned a participant to collaborate with.
  2. .Each team must submit a short story or record of a roleplay in order to be eligible for the participation prize.
  3. The minimum word count is 500 words while the max is 5000 words. You can use wordcounter.net to check how long your entry is!
  4. Submission’s cannot contain sexual 18+ NSFW content.
  5. Entries must take place within the Ambi-verse. You can learn more about the Ambi-verse here and about each location here. Not every detail must be canonical, however the setting should clearly be within the Ambi-verse!
  6. You’re allowed to have your human character fall under the isekai genre so that they may fit into Ambi-verse.
  7. You can include other characters in the story but the focus must be the two characters submitted by each participant.
  8. It is prohibited to use AI tools such as, but not limited to, ChatGPT to generate submissions. We are trusting participant’s not to use such tools. Thank you.
  9. By participating in this event you’re agreeing to submit your entry by 11:59PM EST on April 30th
  10. Finished entries must be submitted to Epizootix via note here on TH. Entries must be submitted as Google docs.

PRIZES
  1. Completed Submission awards each team member a Rare MYO
  2. If one or both team members create an art piece to go with their written submission both team members Rare MYOs will be upgraded to be Legendary MYOs
  3. If you allow your team story to be posted publicly as part of a community poll the winning team members will each get an ART PRIZE from admin Chisai-Yokai. Each winner will receive a 2000x2000 icon of their submitted character in the following style - Example 1 - Example 2
SIGN UP FORM

As part of the submission process we are going to ask you to submit both an Ambinetic character and a human character. If you only have one or the other you’re still allowed to submit but if you have both please submit both. You will only be using one of the two characters as your main character when you’re paired with a partner. Which one will be decided by the assigning admin so that each team has at least one Ambinetic character in it.
