A while ago, I got permission from the creator of this forum game to create my own version! Most of the questions here are brand-new, though I also took a few from the original game because I liked them. The rules for this thread will basically be the same as that version. I recommend checking out the original, especially if you want to see examples of how people played it.
--How to play--
- Written below are two sets of numbered questions - the A set and the B set.
- Look at the characters of the user above you, and choose one that you're curious about. Make a post pinging the user (by writing @ followed by their username) and tell them the character you chose plus a few of the prewritten questions. (Example: 'I'd like to see questions A2, A5 and B7 with your character Frederick!')
- Once the next poster asks you some questions, edit your post to write your answers.

- This shouldn't need many rules, but keep the obvious things in mind - no excessively sexual, gory or disturbing answers, don't be rude, don't purposely skip people, and if you have a problem with anyone in the thread, PM me. Don't start drama here.

A6: Any little things he does end up remembering. There's only bits and pieces but of what he does, it always feels painful despite the fact that he can't really recall any of it
A7: Honestly he probably wouldn't get drunk much purely because he just doesn't care for the taste of alcohol but he would absolutely be an emotional drunk who gets really clingy to whoever is nearest/ willing to deal with him
B3: Big fan of extroverts but mainly anyone who treats him with kindness and actually seems to care. He doesn't warm up to anyone easily but pushing him out of his comfort zone and showing that their there for him is a huge thing for him
B7: Due to being spliced with mimic DNA, he's got extra mouths all over him that he sews shut whenever he's particularly nervous or they start to snap against the strings, taps his right foot rapidly when impatient, runs claws lightly over the flat tip of his tail, rakes a hand through his hair when he's looking for something to do with his hands while talking to someone
B12: As I didn't originally create him, I can't tell what the initial thoughts about him were but as soon as I saw him, I just fell in love with him. It was around the time a friend was starting up a DND campaign and he was turned into my character almost immediately after they gave the okay. Since then, he's just became a little skrunkly as I'm starting to try to flesh him out more

A7: He is quite literally incapable of becoming drunk, but in the scenario that this happens, he will probably be sentimental and melancholic. Just someone who would spill his life story to whoever is nearby. RIP to others because this man has a lot to unpack
A10: Honestly, probably having someone be close to him and to have them see something he regards as private, or just awkward situations in general that he can't really explain easily. He'd be doing his best to retain his composure, but...
B2: What is there to be proud of when he's the way he is? More seriously, I imagine he's at least proud of the fact that he's made things to help others in need, like creatures that could be used as more efficient work animals, livestock. Also, his protection of those who don't want to be under oppressive regimes.
B9: Depends on the storyline. In his "default" storyline, he doesn't really have anyone to truly look up to, since any memories he may have had are just muddy. In the TH-specific continuity, he's very much got the admiration for Irene and would like to be with her.
B13: A lot! His aesthetic has been fun to develop, and the conflict of his being eldritch while also trying so hard to latch onto his humanity? Chef's kiss. Delicious.

Gisela
What it takes to make them cry?
Gisela's one of those people who can cry very easily, though sad animal videos are a guaranteed way to make her cry. She also cries if she bottles up too much stress.
Pets they've owned?
She's of course had a black and white cat when she was young, inspired from her love of Luna and Artemis from Sailor Moon. She also had a peacock who roamed the gardens because she liked the feather patterns.
Their worst failures/screw-ups?
Probably the current plotline of her following the Manticore's every advice. Poor baby is very naive.
Mary
How they show affection?
Mary isn't very good at affection in general. She best shows affection by physical touch; hugs, resting her head on a shoulder, cuddling up to someone. She'll also sometimes just do something for the person she likes, like making food or completing work for them.
What makes them stressed?
Just about everything. Specific triggers for her anxiety though are not understanding a situation around her or worries of being watched or found by her family, and her anxiety will make her spiral and stress herself out imagining scenarios.
Something they might have nightmares about?
This is spoilers for the section, but- The potential of her abusive family finding her again. She ran away and changed her name to try not to be found, and worries they'll drag her back home again if they do.

Jokes aside, yes, unironically, it is really difficult for him to talk about his past, not because he remembers all the scars and sins he has carried but rather the opposite: he retained close to nothing. How can he talk about something that he doesn't know? Even then, he has not made any attempts trying to divulge this past of his, either, as his run-in with The Fantasmagorie has already changed the purpose in life he wished to chase. His array of scars and its origins are also lost in the perpetual fog that obscures his memory, so he dislikes any prodding over it.
Ask him this, and you might just receive nothing but a quiet lie or a felicitous change in topic… sometimes, however; if he’s known you well enough, and the circumstances played to your favor, you might at least be able to hear him say, “I don’t know.” (And he’ll pretend he never uttered such despicably impuissant words, either.)

…A lot of failures stem from the past that he doesn’t remember, and it’s what lead him here in the first place. Do you really want to know?

He has continuously, from past to present, obtained a variety of odd injuries due to the nature of his work, but nothing is worse than losing his own right eye after a ritual that has gone wrong (or one could say it has gone right… way too right?). He’s not particularly averse to showing this injury of his in public, though the scar is quite gnarly enough for him to cover it with an eyepatch during work hours.

How can he not be proud of himself as an entirety; someone so cunning, wise, quickwitted, and a cute littol myow myow? /jjjjjjjjjj. If there was anything he definitely takes most pride in, however, that would be his seemingly undying luck. Of course, alongside this would be his own tenacity and strength to keep on pushing forward even if it means bloodshed - but sometimes, he himself leaves his own fate to the elusive game of chance, simply because it is entertaining or it’s his last resort; and yet somehow most of these trials end up completely in his favor.
Such fortunes play so many parts in the life he acts in now, even if he is submerged constantly in the sea of unpardonable sin and often visited by the ghost of unexplainable unease; his glamorous Vegas lifestyle powered by none other than that ridiculous streak of luck that lead him to The Fantasmagorie saves him every single time from ever truly drowning. From time to time, he does wonder why such luck possesses him like it was meant to be; as if it was a golden glove crafted for him and his fickle hand always on the headstart of victorious gambles. He wonders if much of it was attribute to the things he cannot recall; if there was someone before him that’s ridden with this uncalled prosperity, or it was a result of a stubborn sin that one may sometimes call determination; if it was nothing but a price to a previous sacrifice.
But such foolish things are impossible and should not be mulled over; Kruz is lucky because he is Kruz - he is the embodiment of greed and such greed will always win, so long as he will always keep wanting more and more. He can keep gambling away even his own worth, and he’d still be lucky enough to come unscathed if he simply tries. (Though undeniably, he, too - wonders what the taste of loss is like, as an odd part of him feels it may just be as sweet.)
B9. People they look up to
Of course it’s none other than the people he’s closely associated to - his partners. If there was anything that Kruz can reward that matters most to him, that is being able to trust you enough to become his partner or associate in some way (whether you’d like to see this romantically or even anything inbetween is on you) in his line of work; his equal that he would fight tooth and nail for once the time comes. Being graced with such an intricate connection means he sees something in you that surpasses others - and most of the time, makes use of such potential asset. Keep amusing him though, as it is just as difficult to maintain his interest just as much as it is already difficult to make sure he regards you as a diamond in the rough that he’d make time refining for.
If there was anyone he looks up to most and may never lose interest from however, it’s none other than The Fantasmagorie’s very owner; the one person he acts as the right hand for - one might say he is quite the relentless devotee.
B13. Your favourite thing(s) about them as a character
His cat ears. OK I’m joking. For someone who I’ve pushed to no return in terms of morality, I would say confidently that even if I would choose to never encounter him in the wild at all and that in theory, I would truly, truly hate him as a being… As strange or almost fucked up as it sounds, I still cannot help but find comfort in how truly lost he is, and how he grapples constantly with this complex state for a multitude of reasons. One being that being lost in purpose is already something a lot of people battle each day (I myself still wonder about similar things) so of course there is a degree where I relate to him, and two being the fact that despite such relatabilities - he is irredeemable, yet he is lucky enough to go on and leave his traces on this earth… so knowing that he has to at least face a single thing he cannot resolve ever in his life can help me sleep at night, I guess LOL.
He gives me conflicting emotions about him just as much as he carries them for himself; almost as if he’s making me stand in his shoes from time to time whenever I write him. At some points, he feels as though he’s quite sentient (don’t take this too literally, I’m not that delusional and think he’s alive for real and whispering in my brain, of course - but moreon that it’s almost as if whenever I write him, I don’t have to mull over things too much as I know exactly what he’d do, what he’s like, what he thinks, as if he already exists in media - also he keeps giving me coincidences where I spot references of him everywhere which is a little odd).
He’s far from relatable, yet I feel for him. He’s a constant contradiction - he forms his own paradox, and anyone should stray away from such a dangerous character, but here I am, enjoying writing him… I guess that’s just how Kruz is.

A4 — Fears/phobias
A phobia Emmy has always had since they were a kid to adulthood is a fear of drowning. They don’t really know why it’s so terrifying to them— and they know it’s not the fact that they’re a fire witch since their father and sister don’t have the same fear— but they cannot make themself go in water that’s “too deep”— aka close to touching their chest. They will also scream very high pitched if any sea-life touches them. Once a fish brushed their foot in the shallow waters of a lake and they ran away yelling so fast that they tripped, fell face-first into the ground absolutely covered in rocks, and had such intense bruises their family almost worried they’d have to go to the hospital. Almost. Fortunately, they were too busy laughing and teasing Emmy to be really worried.
A more serious fear they’ve developed as a result of the events mentioned in the next answer is a fear of losing control of their magic. They know what happened wasn’t because they lost control of their power, they just lost control of themself. But that doesn’t stop them from being scared of their magic anyways. It’s taken years for them to be able to use their magic consistently again, and every time it still sparks a bit of anxiety in them. Along with this is a fear of being so trusting as to be manipulated again, which is why they struggle to trust or even connect with people they don’t know well despite being generally well-liked.
A8 — Their worst failures/screw-ups
I allude to their worst screw-up in their description but don’t describe it in order to keep it brief, but— Emmy’s worst screw-up is actually the cause for their extensive burn wounds. Content warning for an abusive relationship, drinking, and death. To summarize, they got into a very toxic relationship just when they turned 18 in which their girlfriend constantly broke down their confidence and pushed them to do more and more dangerous things with her. This ended in disaster when they both got drunk one night and she convinced them to burn down an empty house, resulting in a giant fire which spread and burned down the home of very close family, all of whom were inside and didn’t make it. Horrified and still not thinking straight, Emmy and their girlfriend got into a fight where she trapped them in the fire and disappeared. Emmy was rescued— though if they weren’t a fire witch they certainly would’ve been dead— and the situation was made to look like it was entirely their girlfriend’s fault, but they and their family know the truth. They’ll never forgive themself for what they did and consider it their worst mistake— but it’s been years, and they’re trying their best to move on and become someone they can consider good again.
B2 — Things they're proud of
Emmy finds it difficult to be proud of most things they do, but they’re learning how to. They can’t help being proud of the quick progress they’ve made in learning their dad’s craft of potions within the last few years, even if they do usually end up simply working with customers at the register in his shop. They’re proud of their physical strength, which comes in spite of them being on the shorter end of the scale. They’re [usually] proud of their appearance and confidence in their gender presentation. Most of all… Emmy’s beginning to be proud of themself for getting through hard times and being able to take things one step, one day at a time— they’re proud of not letting go no matter how easy it seems some days, if not for them then for their loved ones.
B9 — People they look up to
The two people Emmy most looks up to are their dad, Jamie, and adopted older sister, Cheyanne!
Their dad raised them as a single father after their other parent up and left them both when Emmy was too young to remember him. They’ve never know anything but love and pride from their dad, even when he struggled with heartbreak and worked multiple jobs to take care of the two— and eventually three— of them. Their close relationship with him and his constant support has gotten them through the past few years after the fire, and they admire him so much. Plus, they’re really interested in his job as a potions maker and have enjoyed learning his craft for the past few years while working in his shop.
Seeing as Emmy practically dragged Cheya into becoming their sister as a kid simply because they thought this six-years-older girl was sooo cool… of course they look up to her. They didn’t know back then what their sister had gone through to be all alone at the age of 12 when they met her, and now that they do they only respect and look up to her strength more. But even when they were kids, Cheya was always the definition of the coolest older person ever, and they constantly copied everything she did.
B13 — Your favourite thing(s) about them as a character
Honestly, my favorite thing about them is their depth and backstory, since they weren’t always characterized the way I have them now! Their first few iterations were a kind of one-dimensional, bubbly nice person who refused to ever get angry and had nothing interesting in their past… which I ended up finding not to work when paired with Mallory. It made their initial dynamic into more of a “I can fix them” from Emmy while Mal was straight-up mean to them for no reason, and they had no real reason to end up working with nothing to connect over. It was a super unhealthy relationship, so the edits I made to Emmy have really allowed the two to have an actually meaningful and deep relationship with an actual reason to treat each other better and push each other to grow in different ways.
Also? Their design is very much gender goals and I wish I had their confidence to be so carefree about gender presentation haha!
⬆️ Oh man, the burning house part was really awful. Gonna assume her ex-girlfriend is still out there, which is just dreadful. Can agree that they are very gender goals! ♡

Things they don't like talking about?
It’s mainly the scar on her chest, which used to have the horn thingy that gardevoirs have, but she had to get it surgically removed. The reason behind this, I’m still kinda working on, but it has something to do with her being suddenly attacked by a strange, genetically-engineered pokėmon from the future and the damage caused from it making using her any of her moves and psychic abilities incredibly painful. She recovered decently since, but it has made her really fragile physically and using too much of her psychic energy does still hurt her.
Also, most things that are auto(car)-related because, at some point in her life, she nearly got run over by a truck. She wouldn't stop other people from talking about cars, but she would get nervous when asked about them.
How do they behave when angry?
Generally, she’ll desperately try to hide her anger, she also isn't the kind of person to really get angry. This does end up making her look more melancholy than upset, so she can mostly act gloomy and ‘out of it’. It also can take her a while to feel better, especially if no-one else knows why she's upset, so she can be miserable and abit sarcastic... just in the not funny way.
Personality traits they like in others?
She doesn’t really have any she likes in particular, but she does subconsciously gravitate towards people who can be less serious, not who are less serious but can be when they feel like it. That doesn't mean that she likes chaos, far from it, she just likes those who can goof around and have fun sometimes.
Your favourite thing(s) about them as a character?
How she’s both sweet and oblivious, it’s just a fun combo for me! So much funny potential. Also, the very late addition of somewhat messy fur. It makes her look more approachable and drawing her is more fun that way!

A13: When Jason is angered, he grits his teeth and talks in a harsher tone than he usually does. That is, if he talks; he usually falls into uncanny silence when angry. He also withdraws from the people around him, lest he snaps at them, and is incredibly prone to making irrational judgements/decisions. Sometimes he would even break items while stonefaced.
A6: He doesn't enjoy talking about his feelings. Period. If you ask him about his opinions on certain people, such as his mother, his childhood friend Erica, or his crush Valerie, he will dodge the question. He's also reluctant to entertain flights of fancy or talk about abstract ideas.
B1: When he's tired, the only thing that relaxes him is a pint of beer or cider and a football match on TV. Otherwise, he enjoys watching documentaries, playing the bass guitar, and fishing.
B7: He has a habit of taking naps whenever he sits down with nothing to do. He even crosses his arms during his naps. Aside from that, he has a habit of heading to the pub after work and a habit of smoking cigarettes when stressed.
B12: When I made him, I had the typical drunken English dad in mind, as well as the Norf FC/CAM ON INGERLAND SCOR SOM FACKING GOALS meme. His current characterisation (serious, stern, gifted with major burnout) is inspired by the traits he autogenerated with in The Sims 4. Now he's some combination of Ron Swanson, Onslow from Keeping Up Appearances, and Meursault from Limbus Company.

A7. How do they behave when drunk
CACKLES alright alright. Aaron is always a very outgoing guy and all but he really lets it come through when he’s drunk. He’s just super loud and rowdy and I love him so much. He becomes very daring and flirty as well. You can really say that all of these traits are just things he always has/does but they are somehow taken to the next level when he’s drunk. He’s just a joy.
A9. Best way to push their buttons/make them angry
This is actually really interesting to me and imlowkeysweating because Aaron doesn’t really get angry. Like that’s not something he does. The best I can think is he absolutely hates being ignored. He will get pissed because of this ONLY if the person is someone he views as below him. It’s really the exact opposite if someone in higher power or respect were to act this way to Aaron (he’d be very self destructive instead). He hates seeing people with less power be picked on. Power imbalance pisses him off I guess BAHAHHAHA, but no he wants to be there for people.
A12. Worst injuries
Oooooo alright alright. I don’t think there is a bone in this man’s body that he hasn’t broke. He’s broke just about every bone. Although this isn’t a big deal to him since not only is he a demon and is able to heal easier than others, he himself is a healer and he is able to patch himself up rather quickly. He’s never suffered any crazy physical injuries. I think the experiences that went on affected his mental a lot more. Aaron is someone who isn’t afraid to get hurt and doesn’t mind it all too much.
A13. How they behave when angry
If Aaron is upset with a person he isn’t close with or doesn’t care about, he just throws hands BAHAHHAHA. He’s not really a talker in that sense. You might get a little small talk with him before he explodes. He stays surprisingly calm but you can hear the roughness in his tone. Aaron doesn’t get angry with people he’s close with or likes. You’d have to really really push him for that and at most you’d get a mean comment or two. If it is an argument, he won’t speak. If it is just him who’s upset, he might yell depending on how deep the topic is to him. Aaron just can’t find anything wrong in the people he likes. If they do something to make him angry he convinces himself that it isn’t a big deal or maybe it’s just him. He will be more distant in these scenarios until he’s out of it again and comes back just as happy as before.

THROWS MOTTOSHI!!!! HE LOOKS UP TO MOTTOSHI!!!! IF IT WEREN’T FOR MOTTOSHI I DONT KNOW WHERE AARON WOULD BE TODAY!!!!!! Aaron has looked up to Mottoshi since he was like a little boy. Mottoshi’s rise as a fallen angel occurred during Aaron’s childhood. He was someone who was expected to have nothing, to be powerless but still rised above that and became one of the most deadly to ever come across. Aaron admired that. He wanted to be like Mottoshi and that pushed him to keep going and going. Meeting Mottoshi in person and actually befriending him changed Aaron’s life forever. He would do anything for this man. Aaron isn’t someone that listens to others honestly. He is just himself, he knows who he is and what he wants. He doesn’t change for people. But whatever Mottoshi says is absolute law to Aaron. He loves him.

PHEWWWW ALRIGHT! Aaron is actually based on one of my best friends that I don’t talk to anymore which is a total shame. I won’t name drop but he too was a Colombian with LONG GORGEOUS HAIR. I’ve never seen a man with such beautiful hair, god dammit he was prettier than most girls I knew honestly. He was always very positive and just fun to be around? Like, he was no angel, that’s for sure but he was just so nice to be around. Also he got just about every girl he talked to, but he never meant it in a “player” type of way. He respected each and every one of them and I always looked up to him for that. It was a nice thought. Just about everything else about Aaron is just me projecting BAHHAHAHA but I love Aaron!!! A5. Physical Scars
Kaoru doesn't really...have any scarring, nor can he really receive any due to his...unique body situation...??? So, no matter how injured he becomes, nothing really sticks because he can just get a new body identical to the old one, just minus the scarring.
A11. What makes them stressed
Kaoru is unable to actually feel stress due to his whole clinical apathy thing, however, if he was able to, a loss of control would probably do the trick.

The control he holds over way too many people. He likes having control...and he has a lot of it.

Okay, so there's a few things Kaoru likes that uh...are pretty much also his preferred victim type 💀. He generally likes guys who are a lot stronger and taller than him. Usually longer hair too, but he's not too strict on that one.

1. Something they might have nightmares about?
He definitely still has nightmares about the forced fusion process. It was quite painful in the moment for him, and he'll never forget both his and the monster's screams.
2. How do they behave when drunk?
He doesn't drink to get drunk often, usually only drinks to test his newest creations. However back in his college days, he'd act pretty reckless when under the influence. Spent money on quite a bit of silly knick knacks and went home with a few girls, a good chunk of his voluntary testing was submitted while drunk too.
3. Worst injuries?
He probably has had quite a few scrapes from broken glasses over the years, but nothing more major than that.
4. Personality traits they like in others?
He's seen a lot of different types of people come into his bar, but the customers he likes best are the talkative ones. He doesn't talk much himself, but always likes listening in on other people's lives and stories. He also likes hardworking and genuine people, and appreciates a good dose of sarcasm.
5. Habits?
Samael has a habit of just leaving cups on his own kitchen counter and forgetting to actually take them with him. He also has constantly bad posture from trying to fit inside of rooms not made for him. The monster also has a habit of yanking his hair to get Samael's attention on things, sometimes forgetting it's own strength and making him stumble.
6. Comfort foods?
This probably seems a bit out of character, but he eats those types of really big cheeseburgers that people meme on for being heart attack givers. He's a big guy and needs quite a bit of food, plus the monster settles down for a while if he eats something like that.
