Ask a question to the above person's OC

Posted 7 years, 7 months ago (Edited 6 years, 10 months ago) by Amvira varkarrus

So it'll go like this: A person posts a question to the above user's OC. Then, after a new person posts a question, the first person edits their post to have an answer.

Something like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

then Person A edits their post so it's like

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

then

Person A: (posts a question to the above person)
I do like cupcakes!

Person B: Does (person A) like cupcakes?
No, I absolutely could not take Goku on in a fight, have you seen that guy?

Person C: Could (person B) defeat Goku in a fight?

EDIT: Try and ask questions that lead to the development of characters!

EDIT2: Cant believe this needs to be said, but make your posts legible!!!!

EDIT3: Also. Read the person's profile before you ask a question!
Follow these rules or I'll implement a banlist!

I'll edit this post to include a response to the next person's question, once somebody posts!

(re: "Do you enjoy sitting in a garden to relax?")
"A garden? Pfeh! What kind of pansy-ass garbage is that? Lemme tell you how I relax! A warm, musty couch, some snacks, and video games! Hah!" ((But to be honest, she might enjoy just lounging around under a tree on a hot day))

"Can you tell me more about this interference? Was John the one to discover it? What would you describe it as, a cold? Tell me about the medicine that goes into fixing this, since you were cured at the hospital."

"Yes, I think about them often. In fact, I make an effort to visit all of their graves at least once every other month. I wonder what it would have been like if my parents had never died. Did they know about my aunt? Would she have visited? Would she have tried to push this job on me anyway? These are questions I will never get an answer to. However, I hold no animosity towards any of them, despite this life. It's practically my only reason for living, at this point."

Tamaki Shinsaku YunaNoire

"My apologies if this question is a little... painful. But do you ever think about your parents? Or even your aunt? Leading the sort of life you do... how do you feel about them now?"

"I..."

Her lips part to open, but merely hang there for a time, her entire being freezing up as she remembers just what happened all those years ago. It's all so fresh in her mind that it's almost as if she's there once more as she recalls it all: there's that smell of fresh blood; that intense jolt of panic running up her spine; the wamrth of her tears filling the corners of her eyes as she stood over the violated corpse of her younger sister.

Shaking her head and pulling herself out of the memory, she dabs at her eyes keenly, pushing a solemn smile onto her lips once more. She nods to the question and closes her eyes.

"She didn't say much. In between some pained gasps and strained cries, she was able to say... 'It hurts, I'm scared... nee-san'..."

Pursing her lips together, her melancholic smile fades and a downcast look washes over her, a look of true despair and sorrow filling the void.

"She was scared. She wanted to live. She had everything to live for so... perhaps do you understand why I think everything is so unfair...?"

"I am sure your heart is crying and it feels so alone... I know this is a painful question, but tell me... Which were Setsuna's last words?"

(ooc) Do you personally enjoy any anime/manga, or are you really not interested in consuming any content of that type?

Kim 'Kimiko' Madison YunaNoire

"Ohhh! I like video games too! What sort of games do you like the most? Are there any that have left a particularly large emotional impact on you?"

"Nope! I've never been caught out before..."

With a sweet, friendly grin, Kimiko lets a silence hang in the air for a good moment or so before letting out a short burst of nervous giggles. Rubbing the back of her head, she shakes her head.

"Geez, even I can't lie about that! I've definitely been caught out before... some people are just super sharp! If I do get caught out I usually just have to own up and apologise... sometimes, an apology just isn't enough though.

Oh! And I can definitely sing, although I wouldn't say it's the best thing I can do with my voice. I'm always ready for a round or two of karaoke though!"

How do you feel about your adoptive family?.

also pardon if this is rude to ask, but just out of curiosity but Do you ever find the whole "Can't enter unless invited" schtick awkward to explain?

"'s easy enough once you figure out how a horse's brain works, just have to take it slow, and pay attention to their body language;  i don't get kicked very often, but-- god, i've been bit more times than i can count, those Appaloosas have some nasty teeth"

Kenshin Yamada PicklePantry

"A ranch... You know, I've never really been to one. What's it like training horses? Is it hard? Do they kick you? I bet I could train, like, THREE."

Kenshin stood there, stunned at the barrage of insults. Then he animated, clenching his fists as his face turned bright red. "Who the hell are you to throw out all these assumptions, huh?! You haven't even met me, don't go acting like you know all about my life and-and-" He shook his head and squeezed his eyes shut. Despite his angry yelling, there were tears rolling down his red cheeks. "I-I didn't chase him off! H-He liked me too! Maybe he didn't love me, but we were friends! He wouldn't want to get away from me! H-He... F-ck you, I don't need to explain anything to you!" He turned his back to the stranger and stormed off. It was clear the thought had never occurred to him, and it was a very unwelcome one.

"You're overbearing and relentless--two off-putting qualities entirely befitting of an off-putting boy. No doubt others have recognized just how intolerable you are. And to think you have the masses fooled! I for one congratulation your friend's shrewdness, leaving the way he did. If he hadn't been more secretive, who knows what ungodly lengths you would have gone to hunt him down. He had every reason to pry himself free from your heavy-handedness, and yet you act as if he is the one the blame. Have you ever considered, even for a second, that the fault is yours? That is was your obsession that drove him away, and that his leaving wasn't a personal affront, but rather a successful attempt to free himself from your unsolicited oppression?"

"Alright, look, I have a question -- why did you decide to kill Cam? You were so close to having things the way you wanted them." He's visibly shaken -- the story hits a little close to home -- but he doesn't seem upset with Arsene so much as upset on his behalf. "And if you don't mind answering a second question, have you ever made a wish on one of those flowers?"

--------

He grins, flashing all of his teeth, then adjusts his sleeves and sits back with an air that could best be described as grandfatherly. "I don't have much trouble making friends. I find them when I'd like to. You don't have to tell people about things you think they'd judge you for -- not right off the bat, at least -- and there's no reason to be ashamed of keeping certain secrets. In the end, though, don't we all want friends who will like us for exactly who we are? No matter how unusual we might be? I don't worry too much about anyone who doesn't. If you look only for people you genuinely respect, and show them that respect, I guarantee you'll have all the friends you could want, and they'll be much better friends than if you'd tried to win everyone's approval."

He doesn't seem to notice that there's anything especially unsavory about his particular -- ah -- unusual quirk.

Angelo Summers bulgariansumo

"A-ahhh if it's not too much to ask, w-what do you think about m-making friends? It....seems like you would have a hard time.... doing that." Angelo stammers. He then panics, realizing his question could be considered an insult. "O-oh sorry! It's not like I meant that b-because of your personality or anything....but m-m-maybe t-the eating....hearts....th-thing--?" His voice trails off, unable to speak any longer as he holds back tears.

--

Angelo tenses up, since he's not used to an animal being so close to him. The cobwebs and spiders freak him out, but he can see the cat means no harm.  "I...um, what makes me happy? W-well, I like playing video games, usually with my brother. I also like talking to my brother, w-well, mostly listening to him talk, but it's not like I have much important to say or anything, and he's a lot of fun to listen to. Um...I like hanging out with my friends....and by friends, I mean my big brother. It's probably embarrassing to say, but watching other people have fun makes me happy, like my--!...I...I guess I don't need to say it. Ah, I really need to get a social life..." He pauses after weakly laughing. "S-sorry if this got depressing! Other things I like doing! Um...I like building model houses and airplanes... Sometimes, my brother watches and---There I go again! Ahhh, I'm so sorry. Ah...c-cats are pretty cute, though I've really never gotten a chance to pet one before. W-would you like that?" While waiting for confirmation, he scans over the feline to see which parts of him are free of spiders.
