How this works is each person posts a character, then the next person replies with five randomly generated numbers that correspond to questions about them!! Hopefully that makes sense; I thought it would be a cool idea ^^
The questions I'm using are by jennystahl on tumblr, which you can see here. I might update this thread with more questions in the future, and suggestions are welcome too!! Now onto the actual questions...

16. Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it? Yes, a couple. The main one is the sort of inner circle in charge of a small island nation and home to my world building project. Skulla moved there after a large war and tried to find peace with himself. Part of that process was connecting with the god of fire, granting him a dragon from and better control of his pyromancy. That alone got him noticed by the good folks in charge, and they offered him a job after he built up a lot of community work. Skullamander is proud to be part of the group as they do a lot of positive work and he trusts them to lead the nation in the right direction. I haven't written anything on it yet, but this group overthrew the shitty previous government, the people wanted the group in charge cuz they actually care about the common and marginalized people, and they aren't humans (shapeshifting magic aliens, it makes sense in the setting, I promise lmao) so they aren't going to become corrupt like people often do.
11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears? His whole childhood is one long trauma conga line. He's worked extremely hard to overcome it, but he still holds a residual fear of failure. He also got attacked by a large dog as a little kid so he doesn't really like dogs much. He's a cat person now.
19. What is their current relationship with their family? Extremely bad. Both of Skullamander's parents were narcissistic wackjobs who never should have been in charge of a child. Everything wrong with Skulla is because of them. He was raised with all the money and social power a family could ever use, but never got any love. Never was told anyone was proud of him or that he's doing a good job. Because his extended family tolerates his parents, he refuses to speak to any of them either. The only family he has now is the found family on the island.
4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them? Mostly about expectations vs fairness. His father yelled at him for being a disappointment (he wasn't really - he excelled in many areas thanks to expensive tutoring but the bar was set impossibly high for a child/teen) and he yelled back because he felt it wasn't fair that they didn't like him or spend time with him like everyone else's parents. He saw his friends go on picnics and have game nights and spend the day at the park with their families and it killed him inside that he never got that. It wasn't fair that he was the only kid he knew to never make his parents smile.
15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it? Right now he works as a royal guard who gets deployed to different towns to protect against anything serious. In the main story, there's a living evil dimension seeping into the world causing shadow monsters to appear and attack anything they find. Skulla is part of the group that goes out, evacuates the area, clears out the monsters, and reports back. There's also other threats that are to much for mortals to handle, like the angels. Only gods can kill angels, so it's just a matter of getting people out of the area. I'm addition, he works as a pyromancer and lower level necromancer for whatever people need. I've been thinking of making him a somewhat part-time firefighter cuz it seems like a pyromancer would be good at that.

15: What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it? paranormal hunter. signed a contract w a demon. he kinda enjoys it since it's a lot more fun than his last, but at the same time it isn't exactly what he wants
