Generate 5 Questions For The OC Above
Using this generator, setting the range as 1-36!!

How this works is each person posts a character, then the next person replies with five randomly generated numbers that correspond to questions about them!! Hopefully that makes sense; I thought it would be a cool idea ^^

The questions I'm using are by jennystahl on tumblr, which you can see here. I might update this thread with more questions in the future, and suggestions are welcome too!! Now onto the actual questions...

9. When they got hurt as a child, who did they go to? How did they react?

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

21. What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why?

29. Are they content with their future situation? Is there anything they would change?

32. Did they get married or have a family? Why? If otherwise, why not?

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all? Nothing has really changed as far as beliefs and morals. He's still who he is, just sadder, and he knew ghosts existed before he died.

23. What do they always carry with them and why? His spell tag and pokeball. The spell tag helps with ghosts (and boosts his ghost-type attack power), and his pokeball is a reminder of his previous owner.

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did? He dreamed of being the head of a research team and helping his village for the betterment of Pokemon and humans alike. Now he just wants to go back to the simple life he used to have, but can't.

34. Are their friends still a part of their life? Are there people they are no longer in touch with, or newly important people? He's no longer in touch with anyone he knew before he died. Everyone in the village, including his old teammates, know he died with his trainer, but they don't know he came back in undeath. He doesn't have the heart to face them, not knowing they'd give anything to have him back.

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it? Stygian is currently a psychopomp, or spirit guide. He leads restless spirits to the afterlife and soothes them from their confusions and misery. Hisuian Typhlosions are naturally tuned to do this, and his abilities increased in this regard when he died and came back. it's one of the only things keeping him going, as he hates others suffering the same thing he suffers from.

Anwell nyaar0n

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

34. Are their friends still a part of their life? Are there people they are no longer in touch with, or newly important people?

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?

12. What are some of their biggest regrets?

Anwell's biggest regret is not saving anyone from the orphanage. Some of the kids in the orphanage were like his siblings, and the fact that he didn't even bring at least one person with him made him feel guilty. Sometimes, he wonders what would have happened if he did.

18. What kind of people do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?

Anwell gets along well with kids and younger people, since he doesn't feel as intimidated by them as he feels with adults his age and older. He likes interacting with people who are easy to get along with and talk to, and when it comes to people who come off as high and mighty, Anwell has a completely blank expression and doesn't act too friendly with them. He has friends who are fellow servants and can trust them.

19. What is their current relationship with their family?

The elf king and his children are the only ones that can at least be considered family to Anwell, but at the same time Anwell doesn't really see them as his father and siblings. They're at least the closest to being his family, and their relationship isn't necessarily tight-knit, but Anwell can get along with them and have dinner like a family.

22. What kind of place do they live in?

Anwell lives in the Elf kingdom, a kingdom with bright colors and the outside being mostly a forest.

28. Briefly describe their life in the future, regardless of how far into the future this is.

Anwell is at peace and maybe he has a romantic partner that'll be in his life til death. He still works as a butler but doesn't go on too many assassin missions anymore.

Mikhail ChosenUndeaad

12. What are some of their biggest regrets?
Leaving his family alone and moving far from them is one of Mikhail's biggest regrets because he doesn't know if they're safe or not. He does send letters to his family and receives them as well, but he will never know if everything is truly going well or if they are just lying to make him not worry about them. Mikhail sometimes wonders if all he did until now was truly worth it, but despite regretting leaving his hometown and family he does not regret making a pact with a demon.

18. What kind of people do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?
Posing as a priest, Mikhail gets to interact with all sorts of people. When he used to preach on the streets to make his cult look like a true religion, a lot of desperate, poor, and depressed people gathered for his sermons and listened to him talk. A lot would stay in his small church even after mass, and despite Mikhail being annoyed because he doesn't really like social interactions that much, he would stay and listen to their problems. Of course, some of the unlucky ones would disappear, be killed, and be offered to Mikhail's patron as they agreed in their contract, and Mikhail would go on with his day, pretending nothing unusual happened. Due to this situation, he never had true friends up until he decided to move even further to a faraway city under his patron's command, Duramit.
This is where Mikhail met his very first friends, or at least he sort of considers them to be friends, despite hiding his true nature still. A few people came and went, but the bard Tune, the leonin Ravignar, and the loxodon Brumak (who unfortunately met a sad fate, being transformed into an unrecognizable monster, but still preserving a few of his old memories) were the ones that were able to find space in Mikhail's cold, dead heart. He cherishes this new friendship, and he hopes that when the time to follow their own, separate paths will come, they will be able to meet again in the future. Mikhail never trusted someone until he met those three people, but after spending so much time with them he wouldn't hesitate to tell them a bit about his childhood, which is a lot for him to reveal.

19. What is their current relationship with their family?
Mikhail loves his family and regularly sends them letters to let them know everything is going well and that he is doing just fine. He really misses his father and mother because he grew up in a loving family and he loves them dearly. Mikhail's closest relationship is with his mother because of the bakery: he would use to help her sell the bread and pastries they made, and Mikhail loved being a helpful kid. He would also help his father from time to time, but going to the nearby town with mom and seeing all of those happy people that loved the bread they made always brightened his day.

22. What kind of place do they live in?
Before moving to Duramit, Mikhail lived in a small apartment near his church. It had a small kitchen, a living room that Mikhail used as a studio, a bedroom, and a small bathroom. His old house was full of books, manuscripts, and other similar things. He enjoyed reading more than anything else. His house was always tidy and neatly cleaned, and despite having so many things inside his living room they were always in place, without cluttering the room or making it hard to navigate.
Currently, Mikhail sleeps in taverns and inns. He doesn't have his own place, but he is considering moving to Duramit if things end up well for him and his party. He is looking to buy a small church and even a nearby apartment, but if things won't go as planned Mikhail will just move back to his old place.

28. Briefly describe their life in the future, regardless of how far into the future this is.
Mikhail is destined to live a cursed life: on one hand, he wishes to grow his new friendships and even have a family, on the other his patron is controlling the grand scheme of things and Mikhail knows that he will make it really hard to follow his dreams. Mikhail will probably leave the rest of his life like he did until now: spread lies, abduct poor people from the street that don't want to live anymore, sacrifice them to his patron, and move on until another sacrifice is needed. That is until he is useful to him. The moment Mikhail won't be needed anymore, his patron will probably rip his soul and eat it, condemning Mikhail to an eternity of pain and suffering. Does he care? Not really, as long as his family is left alone.

6. Did the location they grew up in affect them significantly? Do they still go there?

16. Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it?

34. Are their friends still a part of their life? Are there people they are no longer in touch with, or newly important people?

3. Describe their family. Who raised them, and who had the most impact on them? Did they have any siblings? Who were they closest to? What were the family dynamics like?

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

25. If someone mentioned their name to someone else, what would they immediately think of (i.e. defining characteristic, appearance- or personality-wise)?

Probably how quiet he is, and generally having an off-putting presence. He's like that tweet that's like 'i'm not uwu pleading emoji shy i'm just fucking stands there and stares at you shy'

27. What matters most to them right now?

His butcher shop! James is the kind of person that needs to do what he loves or else he'll be miserable. He just happens to like cutting meat and working by himself

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

He sort of always knew he'd be doing this kind of thing. Even as a child, James was very neat and tidy! His parents wanted him to become a surgeon but that is MUCH too high stakes for him and being a mortician or working in forensics wasn't really his style either despite his talents. So, butchery it is.

18. What kind of people do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?

James is a loner, so he really doesn't have anybody. Not to say he's a misanthrope, he just will not go out of his way to approach someone for any reason unless he really needs to, and being sort of intimidating himself people tend to avoid him. He's ok with being by himself though, but I don't see him not having friends either. Just nobody right now.

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

still ironing out the details but I think at some point either one of his parents was a hoarder or he had to stay with like a relative or something who was. Clutter/dirt/ect. really stress him the hell out. Especially clutter, I think having to live somewhere with a lot of it makes him paranoid about the complications that come with living in that kind of environment u.u

16. Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it?

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

1. Briefly describe the way their parents grew up, and how it affected the way they raised them.

3. Describe their family. Who raised them, and who had the most impact on them? Did they have any siblings? Who were they closest to? What were the family dynamics like?

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did? Évariste had a dream of having a farm without masters, without anyone controlling it other than the workers themselves, and the goods are given to anyone. Just like the commune he used to grew up with. The dream has fulfilled in his adult years with a group of fellow rebels and common people.

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them?

He didn't have any childhood friends until he was around 6 years old when he was saved by a group of people. He goes well with the other children in an anarchist commune, though the commune was destroyed by a kingdom nowadays. Most of his childhood friends either moved to different lands, went adventuring, or they also live at the same commune as him.

29. Are they content with their future situation? Is there anything they would change?

No, Évariste has still troubles, the neighboring kingdoms and countries who gave him and the people of the commune injustice and his biological parents who belong to a demonic cult cursed him and several people. For the kingdoms, some people want to revolt and some want to abolish the heiriarchal structure completely in a quick pace.

19. What is their current relationship with their family?

Évariste hated his biological parents, who used him as a tool rather than a child as well as they cursed him after he was saved by a group of people. His adopted parents get along well, but his adopted father died long ago after sacrificing himself to save the people in the commune. His adopted mother currently lives the same commune as him.

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

Évariste doesn't belong to any story or universe I have. The primary use for him is I want to make a fantasy character along with characters themed around different colors, and for some reason I also wanted to make a modern version of him.

2. Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?

Hako has always been middle class. How it's affected her has never really occurred to her.

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?

She was raised, and currently lives, in Chicago. She has always been quite happy there.

27. What matters most to them right now?

Hako is most concerned with the persona of being "the funny box-headed girl" because she likes making her co-workers laugh.

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

She's probably gonna be a somewhat static character in my stories.

31. What’s something they were sure would happen in their future but didn’t?

She wanted to be a post-woman when she grew up, but she instead works as a camera woman on a game show.

This post has been removed.

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there? For as long as he's known, he's lived in the wilderness of a mountainside on an island. Still not sure if he was ever alive, how long he's been around, and a couple other related details, but he's spent his life in this area. It's always been mostly peaceful and quiet, where he can commune with nature and the spirits. It's always been a good existence to him.

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears? I wouldn't say Void has any phobias - there are things he avoids greatly, but it's all rational stuff.

26. What’s the worst (in their mind) way their current situation could end up? Ending up as a lost spirit haunting the woods. It's what he helps others overcome, so ending up in the situation with no one to help him is worst case scenario.

27. What matters most to them right now? Maintaining balance and helping the lost find their way.

29. Are they content with their future situation? Is there anything they would change? Void's pretty happy with how things are looking.

[Edeia] Ein Sof and Ayin SymeSynth

22 23 14 24 31

22. What kind of place do they live in?

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

31. What’s something they were sure would happen in their future but didn’t?

6. Did the location they grew up in affect them significantly? Do they still go there?
- It likely did, considering that it is their home and most of what they knew comes from there. They, however, no longer really visit it. They've moved on, so to speak.

9. When they got hurt as a child, who did they go to? How did they react?
- Ein Sof: What childhood?
- Ayin: Their parents! Probably cried and sobbed over getting scratched, which was fixed with some bandaid and ointments.

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.
For one, their bond probably might've spared the world from the potential danger Ein Sof could've been. When he was still an android, he wasn't really particularly empathic. In a world without Ayin's influence, he might've grown unfettered and particularly hostile to everyone else, not to mention having a massive superiority complex.

34. Would they become a mentor figure for anyone?
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Depends. Ayin is more enthusiastic to help out and teach, while Ein Sof might be somewhat picky and then hand the poor guy off to Ayin if they find the individual less-than-pleasing.

35. How do they feel about getting older and eventually dying?
For themselves, it's... not an issue. They are ageless beings now. For others facing such a dilemma? Mixed feelings all around. It is generally natural, yes, but it is something that can be potentially conquered in time, and with enough effort put into it.
For Ein Sof, conquering ageing is part of attaining infinity. For Ayin, to win against the ravages of time is the potential of things against the backdrop of nothingness.

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?

Sort of. There is a sort of covert background element where no one would exactly know/care if certain individuals disappeared, and keeping stability on a communal level is important for various reasons. Individuals passing through do not always have ideal intentions, and preventing losses/disappearances is important both on an individual basis and for interdependencies.

TLDR; Most relevant characters 'do not quite exist' to the overall populace and would potentially cease if without food/water/support; both inherent and ambient risks present. Not cheerful lol?

27. What matters most to them right now?

Keeping things stable, and supporting the people around them.

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

They're pacifistic. Resorting to violence willingly might occur eventually.

25. If someone mentioned their name to someone else, what would they immediately think of (i.e. defining characteristic, appearance- or personality-wise)?

A withdrawn and quiet individual most likely, if not insightful otherwise?

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?

An herbalist and physician -- looking after others when hurt/etc, possibility relatively limited otherwise.

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?

8. What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?

20. Do they have a partner? How did they meet, and what’s their relationship like now?

29. Are they content with their future situation? Is there anything they would change?

32. Did they get married or have a family? Why? If otherwise, why not?

4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them? Standards not being met vs standards being too high. His father was a very prestigious man and a narcissist who demanded his son be the same. It wasn't easy for a kid to defend himself verbally, and he quit trying to compromise when he was a teen, so arguments were much fewer in those years.

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there? A rich area in Paris, France. While it was nice having money to spare and all the best in life, he hated how he was expected to act and how disgustingly the wealthy was flaunted. It was richness for the sake of showing of rich you were. If other parents had raised Skullamander, he might have had a happy childhood, but his mother ignored him and his father was never happy that the impossibly high standards were unreachable. Skulla found happiness were he could though.

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them? He had a couple sets of friends, a ritzy group who got along okay with, a ragtag group of misfits he loved hanging out with. He ended up serving in a war with some from both sides, but none survived with him. He lost touch with the versions of his remaining friends that belonged to his reality when he was forcibly transported to a different, nearly identical one recently in his story. Everyone acts very similar to how he remembers, but he knows they aren't the same people. He hasn't tried reconnecting with anyone from his childhood.

8. What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like? A little fancier than you'd expect, but typical male bedroom. His parents insisted he kept it spotless, and it typically was very clean as Skulla is just a clean, tidy person. His parents also insisted he had "high class" hobbies, so star charts, calligraphy supplies, and other pretentious culture items were neatly tucked around. Skulla had a lot of history books, which was one of the few things he liked there.

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them. Skullamander was teleported to the story's main reality around the start of the story. Around the same time, a living, hostile dimension bleeds through as well, causing shadowy creatures to appear and bring destruction. His loyalty doesn't have time to be called into question before he assists this dimension's version of him, Salamander, in stopping the chaos. The two of them, effectively clones of one another, very quickly become friends. From here, Skullamander takes on a job becoming a high rank royal guard and magic user, befriends the rest of the main characters, and goes on to be an important part of the story. A lot of the push back against the hostile dimension, rescue of people from danger, and work closing the tears comes from his and his group.
