What part of their past (death, other significant event) do they think affects them the most? I'm still slightly reworking Griffon's past and story, but the general idea was that he died during or after a war and was reincarnated as an elemental. It's rare, but has been known to happen, typically only a couple times yearly worldwide. It completely tied him to nature and aeromancy, and he prefers his new non-human form. He's also a bit more chill and at peace because of the change.

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there? Griffon grew up on my fictional worldbuilding island project, in the Pacific Ocean near Easter Island. It was quiet and peaceful, mostly being a fishing/travel hub type of place. It has a strong connection to magic, a lot of deep wilderness, and the people are curious and intelligent, all factors that shaped who he grew up to be. He was very happy with his life growing up there.

8. What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like? An average boy's room belonging to someone into the outdoors. He kept everything neat and tidy, and had a lot of toy and games based around animals and magic.

4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them? He rarely argued with his parents. Griffon was a quietish kid and generally respected authority. His parents were a little strict, but overall did a good job listening to their son, and arguments were rare. If anything, it would have been Griffon wanting to stay outside well after dark, or on a school night, or something minor. Out of all my characters, he probably has the best childoohd, having never had to listen to fighting or dealing with intrusive or combative parents.

21. What hobby or pastime of theirs do they consider most important to them and why? Definitely his hunting and gathering hobby. He spends a lot of time in the wilds, mostly in gryphon form, and doesn't connect with people much because of it.

ah yes: two...sort of? xenia of course has the pillarmen since she's part of the hamon clan. they have beef since the pillarmen try and take something called the 'super aja' which gives them ultimate power and god knows what any of them are going to do with it. she is really scared of them and prefers not to talk about them at all, and uses the hamon clan's 'codewords' for them based off greek gods. and for her other enemy group, she's sort of a loner within the hamon clan itself because...well, she has a lot of history of making drama with the higher ups. she also doesn't like them and knows if she starts talking about how much she despises them then it won't stop. at this point she's permanently paranoid

18. What kind of people  do they usually interact with? Who are their friends, the people they  look up to/trust, and who are their “associates”?
not very many, but if she had to put a finger on a type then it would be 'quiet and reserved but loyal'. her only friend at this point is her husband, and he's also the only person she trusts because...well yeah. and brandy is her daughter but they don't have the best relationship in the world. xenia considers the rest of the hamon tribe her associates but doesn't like saying it much for reasons stated above

THESE QUESTIONS ARE ON POINT- xenia and cephalus met when they were young hamon clan members training. they had a passive friendship at first before it started going deeper. xenia didn't think she could fall in love so she brushed any feelings aside, but realized that she was demiromantic/sexual and then the two started dating. being the girlboss she is, she decided that since cephalus was the love of her life then she would convince the hamon clan leaders to let them get married. it worked, and now even through all the really god awful things they've been through, they're closer and more loving than ever

27. What matters most to them right now?
raising brandy, she wants to keep her promise to alexander and lysandra (context in her profile) in one way or another and fears that if she messes up, then something really bad is going to happen to humanity

she doesn't care for it much since she knows that the hamon clan are all fated to die against the hands of the pillarmen whether they like it or not. plus her hamon skills mean she ages wayyyy slower than a normal human (outward appearance wise), so she'll just make the most of her life

34. Would they become a mentor figure for anyone? I doubt it, but there's still a decent possibility? He's a doctor and explorer, surely someone could follow in his footsteps.

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all? His beliefs and morals are firmly set in place. While his worldview has expanded, what he considers right and wrong hasn't and won't, as he was raised in a morally-just culture.

Part of his family line leaves the mysterious land he's from every generation to explore the world and bring back stories, and he'd been ready to leave his homeland since he was young. It's how he got to my worldbuilding island and met everyone else.

22. What kind of place do they live in? Clarence used to live on my version of The Isle of Hy-Brasil, a mythical semi-lost land full of explorers and mystics. He currently lives on the Celestial Archipelago, a fruitful little island heavily connected to natural wonder and magic.

Jac belonged to a lower class family, spending more money that they had. To combat this, she would take what she needed however she could. She's got a lot of klepto habits form that, mostly having the urge to steal things now and again.

She mostly had her brothers, and while she grew apart from the eldest, shes keep in touch with some of them!

Her parents probably would have grown up like her, in that sense of a house very close to where they settled down, generationally the same at least until she up and left. She grew up tough and, while still the youngest, had to mature quite quickly.

She wanted to be rich. lol. But really, if she had the childhood that wasn't too focused on money, she definitely would have gone into acting.

I think she enjoyed her childhood most because of the locations near where she lived. She would love roughhousing with her brother near rivers and playing in old abandoned places. She hasn't gone there in a while, but she thinks of it fondly.

Daisy had good parents though her mom wasn't alive for very long. Their lives were decent, her mom just passed along her culture.

Middle class. She was pretty comfortable but humble.

Daisy didn't really have friends. She had a select few over the years but she was rather introverted.

She grew up in the city. The atmosphere itself was a bit overwhelming for her at times but there was a lot to do, and she was grateful for it.

Very significantly but I can't go into detail because the topics are so dark jdhsjkd She's dead now but every so often she'd visit Earth and look at her old home.

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them? If he had a childhood, he doesn't remember it. It's possible he came into existence as an adult, likely already undead. Kalt's from a haunted area and may just be a native spirit. If he DID have a childhood, no friends remain from it.

He's a vaguely threatening force on the mountainside of the main land, but ends up helping the main group through a dangerous, spiritually active nightmare zone. He's immune to a lot of negative energy and is able to handle a lot of the combat.

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it? There's a type of energy and demon-like entities seeping into the world which react with hostility to anything not like them. This is basically the only group Kalt outright opposes, as he attacks them on sight primarily because they keep doing the same to him. He sees them as little more than prey, although he's rather annoyed they aren't made of meat like regular prey.

27. What matters most to them right now? Survival and food, mostly. He's a simple guy.

33. How do they react to the changing times? Are they adaptable or do they reject modernity? He adapts decently to change, but he doesn't like it. One of the reasons Kalt avoid people in general is he doesn't care for how different they are compared to him.
