Generate 5 Questions For The OC Above
Using this generator, setting the range as 1-36!!

How this works is each person posts a character, then the next person replies with five randomly generated numbers that correspond to questions about them!! Hopefully that makes sense; I thought it would be a cool idea ^^

The questions I'm using are by jennystahl on tumblr, which you can see here. I might update this thread with more questions in the future, and suggestions are welcome too!! Now onto the actual questions...

———————————————————————————

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

Probably not much, since he’s an animatronic. He technically didn’t have a childhood. He didn’t really know about much, aside from what he saw and heard at the attraction that he used to work at, back when it was still running. His only goal “growing up” back then would be to entertain people. He’s one of Perfume’s animatronics now, since she eventually took him in when she found out about him. He doesn’t have his own attraction at the amusement park yet, but whenever he does get one, his goal would once again be to entertain people.

4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them?

The people that “raised” him would be whoever built him. There were probably some conflicts, but no arguing. He just did what he was told to do, even if he didn’t want to. The only argument he probably actually had with them was when they decided to abandon the roadside attraction that he resided in, along with him inside. They did partially drain the water he was in for some reason, so he probably found out around that time and tried to convince them not to leave him there. Of course, they didn’t listen.

35. How do they feel about getting older and eventually dying?

He technically can’t truly die from old age, since he’s a robot. The only way he could “die” from old age would be if he was left in bad condition and nobody maintained him for a long period of time, but that means there would have to be other factors that cause him to stop working, not just age. This could’ve actually happened, since he was left abandoned within the partially drained pool for years. He got lucky that he didn’t eventually stop working from being down there for so long (water damage and stuff).

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

Like I mentioned before, he technically didn’t have a childhood, but there were events that happened in the past to trigger current phobias, mainly coming from when he was left abandoned in that pool for years. He has major thalassophobia (fearing large bodies of water; the he was left in was actually pretty large btw) and a little bit of aquaphobia (fear of water) in general. He especially hates dirty or dark water. The only body of water he isn’t afraid of is the pool at Perfume’s warehouse. This is due to him associating it with positive things. Ironically, Marino also has submechanophobia (the fear of man-made objects underwater or partially underwater). He’s an animatronic that was built to go underwater. He is a man-made object in the water. He’s afraid of himself lol!! Jk, but he does get startled by his own shadow sometimes. Anyways, his submechanophobia does include other animatronics. The only exception would be if he actually knows and trusts the animatronic, because if that’s the case, he doesn’t feel the need to worry about them trying to hurt him. He also has a slight fear of the dark, due to the place he’d been abandoned in being pretty dark (the old pool was confined within some kind of building/warehouse that no longer had working lights after awhile). He also has a massive fear of being abandoned again, but Perfume is doing her best to help him with that fear.

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

It’s usually fairly normal, but he does have really bad nightmares sometimes. He tends to curl up when he sleeps, and if Perfume happens to be spending the night with him, he’ll curl up around her before falling asleep. He also has a nightlight in his room to help with his fear of the dark.

Fuun / 不運 Spinebby

10. What did they dream of doing when they grew up? How and why did it change, if it did?

4. What was the most common argument between them and whoever raised them?

35. How do they feel about getting older and eventually dying?

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

--

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

They don't always sleep, and can stay up for days at a time. But, when they do sleep it's pretty sound. They're a relatively heavy sleeper and it takes a bit to wake them up.

32. Did they get married or have a family? Why? If otherwise, why not?

Fuun currently has a lover though Fuun doesn't exactly find marriage necessary, they find it to be unnecessary. It's highly unlikely I'll ever give them kids; they'd have to fake a whole identity to adopt a child since they're infertile and a god. And it would die way before them so if they got attached they wouldn't want to go through that.

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

Their pockets are usually empty actually. Every so often they'll carry around a bag of candy, usually sour patch watermelons because that shits good. They're always happy with a sweet treat.

13. What part of their past (death, other significant event) do they think affects them the most?

spoilering because of their abandonment issues and bad 'childhood'

The gods spoiled them to death when they were first created and they were made to be this adorable little thing that made people happy and helped out with everyone's lives. But, due to their harsh attitude and them straying away from their job to do the complete opposite they were sort of disowned in a sense. When they were loved, the gods were extremely busy and didn't pay much attention to them. Plus, with their small size the others would literally have to avoid stepping on them.

27. What matters most to them right now?

Their lover and just survival. Their time is ticking and they don't know how much longer it'll be until the gods decide to erase them from the universe. It could be within a day, or millions of years. Though, they'd rather live a short life and have the fun they're having rather than live in boredom for millions of years.

ANSWERS:

27: What matters most to them right now?

What matters most to him right now is keeping himself safe and his base in the sewer hidden.

2:  Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?

Rat’s family was very poor and they were pretty much left on their own. Rat grew up in a shabby wooden hut, close to an opening that led to the sewer. They had to steal their food and had to live in unhygienic circumstances. Because of this he or his family often got sick.

On a good side, over time, this also meant they grew immune to some bacteria.

As a kid Rat explored the sewer in his spare time. He even managed to sneak in and out of places, using the sewer. He got so used to it that he still lives there to this day.

9: When they got hurt as a child, who did they go to? How did they react?

It was very unfortunate to get sick or hurt, as they didn’t have money to buy expensive things such as medicines. However, they had bandages and could clean the wound with boiled rainwater. After that, it was just a matter of waiting and hoping everything went right.

Broken bones had to be healed completely on their own. They could be splinted though, to keep things in place.

When Rat got hurt he would go to his mother and she would help him with the materials and knowledge she had.

8: What was their childhood/teenage bedroom like?

Rat had to share his tiny bedroom with his siblings. There weren’t enough beds, so they often fought for the best sleeping places. Rat was one of the smallest but he fought fierce, so he could often claim a bed for himself. Sometimes he would share it with one of his younger siblings.

15: What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?

Rat is now an assassin. He mostly does this job because he gets paid well for it. This way he doesn’t have to worry about having no food, clothes or medicines.

On a downside, people don’t always know where to find him, since he could just be anywhere if he isn’t in the sewer. Or people are afraid to go and search for him, to ask him for a mission. This way he doesn’t get paid too often and still ends up being poor most of the time.

Does he enjoy it? Sometimes. Not so often though, but he doesn’t have problems with it either.

and i had to cut some bits or not i’ll just spoil alot of bits, sorry if these can seem kinda vague! but i tried-

28. Briefly describe their life in the future, regardless of how far into the future this is.
I didn’t planned much for this part oop- but I think that for Romeo’s future, there aren’t actually many changes? He’ll just work as a farm manager in Sunny Day Farms untill he retires. Eventually he’ll pass his buisness to someone else [he currently has an apprentice? that'll eventually manage the farm soon so yeah].

25. If someone mentioned their name to someone else, what would they immediately think of (i.e. defining characteristic, appearance- or personality-wise)?
It truly depends on who you’re asking. If you’re asking random strangers, they might not know him because he isn’t famous either [some strangers would definitely jokingly reference him to the famous Romeo and Juliet]. Folks who only seen him from the surface would just describe him as "the manager of Sunny Day Farms" or "a happy, enthuastic farmer who's also a really good buisnessman”. Only his close friends knows how he is underneath the surface.

3. Describe their family. Who raised them, and who had the most impact on them? Did they have any siblings? Who were they closest to? What were the family dynamics like?
AH I wasn’t sure how to answer this one since it’ll pretty much be spoilers for my upcoming project, but here we go :’) [kinda

Romeo was the son of farm manager Jack Day and nurse Juniper Moss. He didn’t had any siblings, so he was an only child. Actually, his relationships with both parents was really healthy. They always took care of him and his needs, both physically and emotionally. He loved his parents and his parents loved him. However the two parents didn’t live for too long and his remaining living family members weren’t interested into raising him, so during his preteen-teens he was raised by family friends [haven’t name them all but one of them is Carlson Jones]. His family friends were willing to take care of him, but let’s just say… they aren’t that great. If anything, they made more problems.  And that’s when everything went downhill.

If we're gonna talk about found family, then it’ll be Romeo’s close friends! Each one affected Romeo positively in some way, tho for this question I’m going to go more specific on Rancher. Rancher was actually a friend that helped Romeo during his first steps of recovering and coping when Romeo was having a rough time. They're still the best of friends 'till this very day.

2. Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?
I did not taught of that oop- but I think he'll fit somewhere between middle class - upper class [leaning a bit more to middle class?]. And it pretty much stay around that way when he was older. While he couldn't always have everything, he's pretty much able to have all his important needs and that's enough to him. Didn't really have affect to how he is now.

27. What matters most to them right now?
One thing he values alot is the farm [that he inherited from his dad]. However, while it means a lot to Romeo, what matters the most to his heart is his own close friends. Him and his close friends ended up becoming a found family for each other. They’re loving and support one another in many different ways. Romeo is really grateful for them because they were the very people that helped Romeo when the very people that supposedly “raised” Romeo couldn’t.

Dr. Sotirios Athanasiadis Nuclear-Hydrangea

28. Briefly describe their life in the future, regardless of how far into the future this is.

25. If someone mentioned their name to someone else, what would they immediately think of (i.e. defining characteristic, appearance- or personality-wise)?

27. What matters most to them right now?

answers here, spoilered them since they are long

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

Warning: mention of wars

Dr. Athanasiadis always held anarchic beliefs ever since he was a child. Believing that one does not need authority and hierarchy to be a better person, as he believed that hierarchy was the source of corruption and exploitation. People themselves have freedom to explore themselves as long as they are not harming/hurting anyone. During World War 2, Dr. Athanasiadis took part of an anarchist resistance as he saw people killed from terrible actions done by cruel people. He discovered he has a will to fight despite his scholarly nature and lacking of any magical abilities like the rest of his family.

He became more anxious, brooding, and tougher after World War 2 and during the dictatorship in Greece in the 60s-70s when his father, wife, and children died by the hands of his enemies.

For his current future, Dr. Athanasiadis will be relieved and less grim when his old terrors (particularly his enemies) faced their end. As he had worrying flashbacks since he got news about his grandson's house burnt by his old enemies.

18.  What kind of people  do they usually interact with? Who are their  friends, the people they  look up to/trust, and who are their  “associates”?

Since Dr. Athanasiadis is a professor, he encounters people with diverse personalities and origins, students with interesting history to share, and some students and fellow professors who fall to historical distortion, which Dr. Athanasiadis strongly disliked.

Dr. Athanasiadis outside school has friends mostly coming from the punk and anarchist scene. His best friend who has a lot of trust is named Theodoros Malamas (he has no profile yet) and they were friends since childhood. Theodoros lives in a squat that held similar anarchic and academic beliefs Dr. Athanasiadis have but more focused on magic. Both of them are still in touch and exchange goods and knowledge to each other. His friend had a contingency plan to move to the villa Dr. Athanasiadis lived if the squat is evicted.

The cooperative Dr. Athanasiadis belong to has connections with other social centers such as the House of Phantoms, Hydrangea, and Erevos

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?

Warning, gore parts:

Dr. Athanasiadis and his family do have an enemy, the enemy and Dr. Athanasiadis are opposed each other both ideologically and personally. It all started around early 70s where a police officer killed his wife and daughters, not by an official command but the police officer killed them personally. This police officer has a strong prejudice among non humans and he is close to the commander Dr. Athanasiadis killed during World War 2. He sent Dr. Athanasiadis the remains of his wife and family, all chopped up, making him more grim and angry to this day. Today, this enemy is still at large and the police officer became a politician since the 90s. When Dr. Athanasiadis heard news about an arson of his grandson's house, he believes that his old enemy came back with a vengence and he remembered the letter his enemy sent to him. The group has larger presence and on the surface level its more of a political party, but deep inside they have sinister motives. Not only Dr. Athanasiadis or anyone living in the house are affected but his enemy also targets other social centers.

Dr. Athanasiadis felt both worry and rage, sometimes thinking he has a thought of killing his enemy with no mercy despite he didn't like doing violent actions.

2. Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?

His family don't like the idea of classism. In the eyes of other people, he might seem to be upper class due to the size of the villa he lives in and it contains a lot of old objects and books. In reality, it's a mix, he grew up with families and individuals living in the house between of low to middle high. It used to be an old squat until the 50s where it is now cooperatively owned by anyone who is living in. People have a thought that vampires are rich people who think they are better than mortal people, but Dr. Athanasiadis likes sharing things to other people, such as food and knowledge. He didn't like talking about wealth as what matters to him is one's well being and the good they have done than wealth and status

Nowadays, other people's perspective see Dr. Athanasiadis as kinda upper-middle class due to his earnings in his books and his work. Actually, he just use most of the money for organizing mutual aid activities, events such as starting punk shows on the area, or helping the anarchist groups building or doing something the government can't do (or perhaps lazy for them to do) though...

27. What matters most to them right now?

Dr. Athanasiadis is currently vigilant ever since his grandson's house burned by his old enemy. No one knows when will they go back again. All he wanted is to defeat his old enemy who is damaging both his family, the cooperative, and other social centers in the neighborhood. He just wants to live peacefully as he got through tragic and historical events in the past.

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

18.  What kind of people  do they usually interact with? Who are their  friends, the people they  look up to/trust, and who are their  “associates”?

2. Which social class did they belong to growing up? How did it affect them?

27. What matters most to them right now?

5. Where did they grow up? What was it like? Were they happy there?

Salamander grew up in a rich area in or just around Paris, France. Everything around him was pretentious, artsy, and expensive - only the best for his father's family. While it was nice never having to worry about food or anything, he actually ended up hating that atmosphere. Rich things just for the sake of showing off your wealth pisses him off now.

6. Did the location they grew up in affect them significantly? Do they still go there?

I consider him slightly ritzy and pretentious because of his upbringing, but he tries to avoid showing it. Instead of admitting he's Parisian, he just say he's from northern France. He still enjoys visiting his home country, but sticks to the more home-like charm of smaller villages and coastal areas.

9. When they got hurt as a child, who did they go to? How did they react?

Sala learned not to go to his parents first, so he became somewhat self sufficient early on. He'd go to his friends first if he needed help. He used to have a sister, but since he was the protective older brother, she would come to him for help and he didn't let himself show vulnerability to her.

14. How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

He's the highest rank pyromancer in the fictional island chain and society in this worldbuilding project. The Queen there is also an elemental caster, so he's close to her, working as a royal guard for their interests. I'd almost consider Salamander the main character of the story just because of how developed he is and how much I adore him. Part of the story is that a rift opened up and dark energy (used to call it void magic, but I don't want it confused with my fursona, Void, so I just call it negative magic or something typically, but void magic gives a better picture) spilled out, corrupting shrines and wilderness. Just before that, someone identical to Salamander came through a smaller rift, named Skullamander. Skulla is a different dimension's version of Salamander. A decent chunk of the mystery of this dark energy is if Skulla has any connection to it (he didn't cause it directly, more like he's a victim of it) and if, by extension, Salamander has any ties to it. He's very active in the story, mostly helping towns and areas affected, combating whatever is found in corrupt zones, and helping the other high casters figure this shit out.

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

Minimal clothing, comfy bed, window open, slightly too cold in the room, but a good blanket more than makes up for it. The society he's currently in actually still practices communal sleeping, so he's either with his group of other dragons nested down in the mountain forests together, or in a large bed-type structure with a handful of friends. Sala has a high body temperature (perk of his dragon species and pyromancy), so he sometimes wakes up with a pile of people crowded around him for warmth. He's used to physical contact and is a bit more comfortable with sleeping in a group than he is sleeping alone.

24. What’s a typical night’s sleep like for them?

asdfghjkll this was late, I’m sorry lol.

16. Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it?

Not really? He‘s not apart of any official faction, but due to his occupation as an assassin, there is a very strongly upheld honor code. It’s an unspoken oath each person takes as soon as they start their career. Talus had no idea of this code however, and it took multiple near-death experiences (threats by the experienced killers) to learn that lesson. Now regards as one of these older assassins, he respects the code as law, and is highly respected by the others.

34. Would they become a mentor figure for anyone?

Yes! In an old storyline I retconned and left out, he actually mentored a 19y/o pop-star who was going to be sent into the gauntlet (too much to describe). He definitely isn’t the average ‘old experienced wise’ type, or a ’mature weathered 45y/o’ type. He mostly either acts like a proud encouraging mom, or a middle-school aged boy making adult jokes. But he somehow he manages to teach her lol.

20. Do they have a partner? How did they meet, and what’s their relationship like now?

I have the chance to gush about this now :) So. He does has a partner, a wife, actually. Amalia <3 And their chemistry is fun lol. Talus acts like a reckless teen and Amalia is the very concerned parent. She’s the calm, thinking counterpart to him. lol their meeting is complicated.

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

He’s anxious around his own kind lol. He never had a good relationship with any of them, and was always an outcast. There is a sense of dignity among celestials that lead them into expecting all Celestials to act ‘proper’. Proper is not for Talus, and he was frequently scorned by other. Only his sister really empathized with him. After coming to earth, he realized how much freer he felt, and decided to call it his new home. Being around other Celestial just makes him really uncomfortable.

Kul SolisTheSunCat

16. Do they belong to any factions or groups? Why and how did they join, and how do they feel about it?

34. Would they become a mentor figure for anyone?

20. Do they have a partner? How did they meet, and what’s their relationship like now?

30. How would their beliefs or morals change in the future, if at all?

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

--- --- ---

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?

- Kul's currently a student in Riverstone Academy (It's a place that exists in a rp that I put him in before). He ended up in that academy due to his father believing that he wasn't getting enough "discipline" in the schools in the IceWing Kingdom. As well as for him to learn a thing or more from the more sophisticated students in that academy.

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?

- Definitely, his whole family is one of the IceWing noble families with higher status and power, making him an enemy to the groups who oppose his family. As for how he feel about it, he feels oddly neutral and worried about himself and his family's safety.

1. Briefly describe the way their parents grew up, and how it affected theway they raised them.

- Kul's parents led different lives as they grew up. His father's childhood was him being pressured by his parents to be the best among the best, to excel at everything he does. If he didn't pass his parent's high standards, all that awaits him was numerous punishments and training. He implemented this practice on Kul as it is the only way he knew about raising children, but much more lenient than what his own parents did.

On the other hand, His mother lived a normal childhood, doing all her duties as a noble during that age. Despite all of that, she let her partner do most of the parenting all to just avoid trouble from the other.

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

-  There were many events that happened in his childhood. However, some of those events led up to him fearing that his friends will leave him if he didn't reached their expectations before he settled down with another conclusion where his friends will always leaves him one way or another.

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

- He doesn't carry anything, but he does always wear a silver horn ring on his left horn. It's a nice reminder of him of the time when he finally got his father acknowledge of what he did, even if it was one time only.

Estrel spoilk

15. What is their current occupation, if any, and how did they end up there? Do they enjoy it?

17. Do they have any enemy factions or groups? Why and how are they opposed, and how do they feel about it?

1. Briefly describe the way their parents grew up, and how it affected the way they raised them.

11. Were there any events in their childhood that led to phobias or other fears?

23. What do they always carry with them and why?

——————

26. What’s the worst (in their mind) way their current situation could end up?

Estrella is pretty adaptable to any situation that comes up, but what would the one of the worst things to happen is if her wife was somehow taken away from her. They’ve been together for ages and without knowing she’s safe Estrel would definitely NOT be having a good time. That, and losing some of her most prized trinkets. There’s nothing she wouldn’t be able to go through, but it would be a very hard time for either of it to happen. She’s had plenty of crewmates die on her - she’s had her life been in mortal danger a few times too. But losing everything she’s gained, her love, her passion, her finds, that would probably be the worst.

12. What are some of their biggest regrets?

Taking her grandfather for granted. Since her mother was a sea nymph, she would long for the times her mother would come back for a few short hours before leaving again for years - during that time her grandfather took care of her. At first, she didn’t want anything to do with her human side, pushing away her grandfather and ignoring the side that wanted to reach out and love her. The  she moved out after he passed , and she desperately missed those days and wished she could go back and say sorry for how she acted.

14.How do they fit into their story? Give a brief summary of the effect they have on the events around them.

Since she’s still fairly a new character, I haven’t fully fleshed out their relationship with other people. But, I do know that she is mostly spoken of as the “half-nymph” and people come to her with favors often. It’s annoying really, and for the most part she declines all offers, since she’s grown into her own and wants to considered good because she’s good, not for her race or standing. I will say though that I do have her interact with my other oc Paris quite often, and while they aren’t too close they’re def drinking mates. lol!

7. Who were their friends during childhood? Are they still in touch with them?

She didn’t particularly have friends during childhood, since she was quite isolated and lonely. She did know some minor nymphs whose territory around the sea cliff was right next to the lighthouse she lived in. They were a bit like distant aunties or cousins. She still talks to them every once in a while, unfortunately by sea-so she’s never really sure if they’ve got any messages.

19. What is their current relationship with their family?

Grandfather passed :(, but because nymphs live a very long time her mother is still alive. Unfortunately, she’s got duties quite far away in the deeper parts of the sea, and it’s hard for them to keep touch. With Estrel, it’s mostly a love-hate relationship with an absent mother. But the new family they have built with her wives and close friends is quite wonderful, and she greatly cherishes it!
