Leika Van der Khansen fizzelston

H-o-l-y shit. Leika felt alive! The thrill of the race drummed through her body. Adrenaline made her ear buzz. "We have to go faster! Faster!" she yelled at Ibis, who was also her driver. Leika looked at the back view mirror. "They are gaining on us!"

She was right. The other fierce racers were steadily creeping closer to the 65' Mustang. Leika's hand hovered above her gun holster. She'd never shot from out a car window before, but... Leika looked at the mob boss and smiled. No grinned. Baring all her sharp teeth. "I'm sure I can hit them with my gun. I can aim for their wheels. I can make them stop!" she said. Desperate for an approving nod from the other. "We can still win this!"

--

For NP: Leika doesn't own any vehicle (but she can hijack a horse-drawn carriage). She can't drive but is a notorious backseat driver!

 Winston Wardell winston

"J rock, i am so glad you decided to accept my invitation to go on a lovely drive of the town. now, i bestow upon thee. tractus maximus." the winston stepped down from the donked tractor. waving his hands in a gesturally.

"there is enough room for the both of us, but you may need to hang on." J sighed and got up on the tractor, the winston got in front of her. the winston put this bitch in drive and floored it. 20, 30, 40, 50. there is no stopping this behemoth of a tractor. the winston engine swapped the 4 stroke combustion engine with a 300 hp STI boxer engine from a stolen subaru WRX. the winston ended up driving onto the bostonian highway. pushing this shitbox tractor almost 120 mph. he looked back and J was emotionless, he looked forward and continue his quest. the winston spotted a 1949 mercury eight coupe. he fucking smoked that car, flipping it off as he drove by. as he did so he collided with a toyota corolla, compeltely destroying the car, the winston face first into the trunk. J getting launched almost 400 feet down the road. flying through the air with no thought between those eyes.

Four "Mine" Aloofcloud

oh good god, claim ramyune

IVjf4zu.gif

As Four leaned her head against the car window, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery, a wave of embarrassment and self-perceived weakness washed over her. She couldn't help but feel foolish for engaging in an argument with the director, who had swooped in to protect her from the hunters. Deep down, she knew she should have been grateful for the help, but a part of her couldn't bear the thought of others being hurt on her behalf. She had little confidence in herself and didn't want to burden others with the consequences of her actions. Now, she found herself being escorted home, feeling like a child who couldn't take care of herself.

She had planned on staying quiet the whole trip, yet the smell of smoke soon caught her attention.  Furrowing her eyebrows, she turned her head to see smoke seeping out of the air conditioning vents, that most certainly wasn't normal. "U-uhm...Mr. Ren-" Her voice was small, as right before her eyes, the car engine erupted into a blazing inferno. Panic set in for Four as the vehicle flipped over, sending them into a chaotic skid until it eventually came to a stop.

With trembling hands, Four managed to crawl out of the overturned car, her head reeling from the unexpected accident. The sight of the flipped vehicle left her stunned, questioning how such a damn thing could have even occurred. But what startled her even more was Ren's seemingly nonchalant demeanor, as if this were just another ordinary drive for him. "I- I can walk the rest of the way!" She squeaked, promising herself to never get a car with this man ever again.

NP: Four is a good driver, and follows all traffic laws

En Litari II ([BrokEn AU]) PicklePantry

It was a quiet drive. The tension and awkwardness was so thick that it could form a physical wall between the two. A word hadn't been exchanged since Mine's explanation at the restaurant. En wasn't sure what to say, and even if he was she hadn't looked up at him at all since then.
He felt like an ass. All this time her life had revolved around the gods too. Someone like her, she had to have lived longer than him, she had to have gone through worse than him. Yet she still shouldered it all and tried to help him, even for him to cast her aside in the end. Without realizing it he'd become just like the upper class that so easily left him to starve and freeze during his first winter in exile.

The car slowed to a stop, halted by a train passing through. Every passing second felt like an hour and was more agonizing than the last.
En wanted to blame the gods on this. If they hadn't cursed him for so long then he wouldn't have distrusted her. No matter how many times he tried to think down that path, however, it ended the same way: it was ultimately his fault.

No more thinking about the gods. Not for this.

En shifted uncomfortably in his seat to face Mine, knocking on the wheel to get her attention. Past the frown forever frozen on his face there showed guilt and remorse, especially through his half-lidded eyes.
"I'm sorry," he signed. A second passed of him searching for the next words. "I've... lost so much that I get nervous and paranoid whenever something good comes my way. I'm scared it'll end up with me feeling even worse in the end, but it wasn't an excuse for how I treated you after all your help. I'll drop you off at this next stop. We don't have to see each other afterwards." He turned back to the wheel, then suddenly turned back. "If you wanted to join me, though... I wouldn't be against it."

You can reply to any of his tabs (though normal, young En doesn't know how to drive)!

(Oh I've been blessed and i WILL follow up)

Jan-Paul Jansen fizzelston

Impatiently, Jan-Paul’s fingers drummed on the window frame of the car. He glared at his driver. This, En Litari, he’d heard so much about.
“I didn’t know you could drive,” he finally mustered up. Jan-Paul’s nose slightly wrinkled. Of course, En could drive. If you could kill Gods, you surely could use gear sticks. The drumming of his fingers intensified.
“Who taught you? My uncle?” he asked. His voice thick with envy. “Like he teaches you everything. You.. You,” Jan-Paul’s lips curled slightly, and he shifted his gaze away from the other to the window. The drumming stopped. “You rich boy.”

Jan-Paul moved his feet around. The golden snap-ons pressed against the carpet of the car. The merchant’s son rested his head on his hand, and he finally looked at the other again. For a few seconds, Jan-Paul just stared. His fingers now tapping on his chin, as he did so.
Would I have been broken in the same way? Jan-Paul wondered. The idea of him having to leave Drakenburg made his blood go cold. Let alone being outcasted like — nevermind.
“I’m actually a better driver than you,” he said. Breaking his own train of thought. He even shook his head. Jan-Paul’s lips curled in a quick taunting smile. “You keep looking at the wrong direction first. Did you know that?” Jan-Paul lifted his head smugly. "Bet you didn't even notice before I pointed it out." His eyes drifting away from the other. "Ha! Such an rookie mistake. You act like you’re used to driving on the other side of the road.” Good job, he complimented himself. What a stunning comeback.

--

Jan-Paul’s automobile was the pinnacle of Drakenburg technology. The top in the wagon revolution. It was slick. It moved. Didn’t need a horse. Jan-Paul couldn’t be prouder. This pride, this need to show off, however, had trapped him in this particular situation. He’d offered Araine a lift (‘cause that’s what well-mannered (and rich) gentlemen did). And now they rode with a whooping 50 KMH over the deserted roads.
“H-Hey!” Jan-Paul sputtered as the other’s knee bumped into him. “Keep your legs with you,” he protested. “A radio?” Jan-Paul’s gaze shifted from the empty road to his rider and back. “No. Hey!” his head snapped back to the other as Jan-paul watched in horror how Araine fidgeted around with the dashboard. “Be careful with that! It costed me a fortune!” he protested and cried. “Eyes on the-” his gaze snapped back to the road and his fingers tensed around the wheel. “Road.”

Aranine Lordbrianc

Aranine checks his phone for about the 20th time in the past 5 minutes. Shit, this was boring. The novelty of the old-fashioned car wore off the second he set foot into the damn wagon. Now he was stuck rolling at a speedy 35 mph for the next however many miles with nothing but countryside as far as he could see.

He slings an arm around the worn leather seat, spreading his legs and apparently unaware of the whole personal space thing. Judging his outfit, the stranger next him oozed of poshness and vanity which Aranine loathed, but that was neither here nor there. His main concern was an impending sense of boredom which was only building at their leisurely pace.

“You got a radio in this thing or what?” Aranine doesn’t waste time waiting for an answer and instead begins fumbling around at the dashboard. The antique look of it had him sure that just one wrong touch would break something, but dammit he needed some entertainment. Of course, the uptight looking fellow to his right presumably wouldn’t exactly be happy with some punk messing around with his car, to which Aranine is sure to flash him an annoying grin. “Hey, eyes on the road, man,” he playfully urges with a hand tinkering around with various buttons and dials like some kind of toddler.

He drives a motorcycle... very recklessly.

“Lava” Edge_Goldie

A continuation to this- hope that’s fine !
——————
Lava was very grateful for the ride back to the train station. Quite fair away from the library they started at, and anywhere else they may have gone. It was getting late out after the outing the two had, few vehicles out on the roads as the sky darkens slightly, yet still bright enough to see fine. More comfortable then the hustle of the midday by far. The engine hum slightly bothersome, but nothing compared to the wind blowing past them both. Despite that, the quiet company of J was appreciated.

They lifted their head slightly from looking at the road to observe the brunette as she drove. She seemed to be a good driver; the ride felt fairly smooth aside from occasional bumps in the asphalt. From first impressions they couldn’t quite get a good grip on her, besides noting that she seemed friendly and a little distant. Thoughtful as well, if the catalogue and choice of activity was something to go by. The conversation from then was pleasant.

A few moments go by as the scenery on the sides of the street fly by. Traffic has picked up a little, but not much. The evening rush wasn’t to start too soon, but evidence of it coming certainly does.
Thinking over the past day, maybe a new conversation would also be pleasant before traffic pops up even more?

“Thank you,” They begin speaking, almost awkward. “For the ride. For the company, as well. I hope it isn’t too much trouble.”
For a moment they wait to let J focus as a car passes in front of the motorcycle. They had no idea if this space was needed, but hoped it wouldn’t distract. The last thing they wanted to do is inconvenience her.
Whether or not J had responded within that span of silence, they continued. ”If we meet up again after this, I’d like to learn about some of your hobbies. Maybe go to an aquarium?” A simple suggestion from a possible interest they noted from earlier, thanks to one of the library’s books when looking for a type of stitch for a particular design.

Once again they go silent. Listening in to any possible response J could give, if any. “Regardless, I hope you had some fun too.”

Haha they can’t drive :) Don’t know how, so likely they’ll offer a ride on Big Sis. Or drive them around. Or have them crash a car.

Lmaoooo yeah that’s exactly what I meant! Not the bird driving a car- though that’d be funny. Leon’s bewilderment is hilarious ! Thank you haha
