🎶 Imagine a title for the theme of the OC above

What would be the title of the music theme of the OC above you, if they had a custom one in a video game or a series?

  • It is heavily recommended to read the OC's bio a bit before coming up with a title. Using more than 2 words per title is also preferred when possible.
  • Titles in other languages than English, (preferably when justified, and grammatically correct), are authorised. Just be sure to include a translation!
  • You can also add a quick description of what the theme would sound like in addition to the title, but it's not obligatory. The main goal is just to come up with fake titles.

Be nice and have fun!

To get this first thing out of the way, she'd probably be in a sports game or rhythm game or maybe a game like Puyo Puyo Tetris.

Story Mode/Idle - Smiles and Moonlight - A bit less upbeat than the battle theme. Something like this.

Story Mode/Battle - Here We Go! Upbeat Battle! - A portratal of her nice side, but a bit more upbeat. Something like this.

Idle - The Middle of Somewhere
Plays in the Somewhere Mansion, or whenever Araa is present in the area. The song itself sounds similar to N's Room from Pokemon Black and White, but less sinister sounding- far more friendly. The Somewhere Mansion is an idle area where you can sit down, relax, and regain your health, and the music reflects that. Occasionally, footsteps will sound off, or there'll be a faint screeching- but it's always Araa or the teakettle they left on the stove.

Talk - Work To Do!
Plays when you initiate conversation with Araa. It's a bright and cheery sort of cartoony song! Gets you excited for whatever CG you're going to see next of their bumbling antics. When things get more grim, it slows down until it's barely a groan. Sounds sort of like Shenanigans and Goings-On from Skullgirls. By the end of the game, you get so used to hearing Araa, Servii, and Shopii's talk-gabber over it that it sounds kind of empty without it.

Battle - Work is Over.
Araa doesn't fight back in their boss fight- mostly just begs. Work is Over. is a remix of Work To Do! with a far gloomier tone- the wacky background effects are gone, and the overlying melody is played on a shrill viola as opposed to horns. The song itself is long, but you never hear it long enough ingame- the fight ends too soon, and you can continue on your way as soon as you're done.

Idle: Morning Sun, Flowers run

A fun melody that insights joy an relaxation. Blossom is usually present or about to be.

Engaged: Family Flowers

An upbeat and exiting piece of music that is complicated, but relaxing and not jarring to listen to.

Fight: Barrows

A sudden change into a rather quiet and unsettling theme. Slow and not fitting for a fighting atmosphere. Very jarring.

Idle theme - Tragic Duality

A melodic and melacholic tune, played mostly with strings. We're going for something beautiful but ultimately sad to represent how they feel towards themselves here. Ideally, it should strike a balance between beautiful and sad, so its not a COMPLETE downer of a theme.

Fight theme - Giveth // Taketh

A sped up version of the idle theme but intercut with fast, choppy bit. This is supposed to represent their duality with the melody playing the role of "creation" and the fast, choppy bits to represent "destruction". Considering they may be using both creation and destruction abilities to fight, this seems especially fitting.

Boss theme - Make Me Known

A third version of the idle theme that expands it to encompass the whole orchestra. Whereas the fight theme made the fast, choppy sections jarring, here it all should flow together. The melodic parts are joined by flutes and other "beautiful sounds" that speed up into frantic strings with clashes of symbals. The theme is supposed to sound unstable but still flow and ultimately put you on edge, showing not only the danger of fighting Evalie but echoing the constant shifting in their mind. It should also be a memorable theme so you, the one fighting them, fulfill the title of the song and "make them known".

Idle: Chantenay Caper - Upbeat song with unusual instruments, a solid drumbeat, and a very jazz feel.  It's fast, but not too fast because it's not really for action. It's very cute and whimsical with a sinister undertone; think like if Shoji Meguro had written Catus Carnival and used it as a theme for an antagonist.

Fight: Nantes Knockout - An even faster song using the same instruments as the previous but a unique tune from it. It's less cute, and starts leaning into a more pronounced jazzy tune, this time with a healthy dose of electroswing to back it up. It's the type of song you want to listen to with the bass boosted.

Boss: Intimidating Imperator - A mix of the previous two's key elements; the drumbeat from the idle theme and the electro- part of the electroswing in the fight theme are much more pronounced than in either of those. It's the type of theme music that's downright anxiety-inducing; it's the fastest of the three. I picture her boss fight as involving a lot of her little rabbit minions, and when she sends them out, the tune changes a la Omega Flowey's attacks (Undertale spoilers in link) before coming back twice as hard. It's downright chaotic.

(chantenay, nantes, and imperator are all types of carrots, I'm hoping the theming makes up for the two word titles wheezes)

v These are all so good !!

Idle: Hushed Requiem

I'd imagine it sounds a lot like this song. Just slightly slower.

Fight: White Noise

The fight itself seems like it would be a dance. It would have a slow menacing theme, kinda like horror movies have a build up to a jump scare. Then as the fight continues, it just gets anxiety inducing. Maybe a bit of latin? I'd look at Bloodborne music to hear what I'm talking about.

Boss: Screaming Terrors

Literally feel this song fits really well. Thats all I can really say about it hh.
