🎶 Imagine a title for the theme of the OC above

Posted 6 years, 3 months ago (Edited 5 years, 4 months ago) by fuelli

What would be the title of the music theme of the OC above you, if they had a custom one in a video game or a series?

  • It is heavily recommended to read the OC's bio a bit before coming up with a title. Using more than 2 words per title is also preferred when possible.
  • Titles in other languages than English, (preferably when justified, and grammatically correct), are authorised. Just be sure to include a translation!
  • You can also add a quick description of what the theme would sound like in addition to the title, but it's not obligatory. The main goal is just to come up with fake titles.

Be nice and have fun!

『Dainty』 Oscar Yew Tomochan

Idle: "Assumingly Aloof" - Something laid-back but possibly with hints of dissonance or chaos

Battle: "Chaos Controlled" - Fighty, most likely guitar heavy but somewhat held back since he's bound to the key

Boss: "Free at Last" - Angry! Rebel! Fight! An intimidating sounding theme for a demon who's gotten free? why am i so extra

Romance Theme (since DATING GAMES): "He's a Key-per" cause he's bound to a key?? get it?? //dies

Oooo I really like those ideas! I might make a note of them for future xP

Astrosphere MoonFlames

Idle: "Prince-ly Popular"

An upbeat song, that sounds a bit like pop music. It's very fast and exciting, with a few chimes mixed in.

Battle: "Sibling Competition"

The song is still upbeat, however not as much and is not as fast.

Boss: "Almost More Naturally"

This song seems somewhat dark, with not a lot of high notes, and plenty of chimes.

Rena Soul-Heart

Idle: Chapters of Lore

(Kind of edgy, but not intense sounding)

Battle: Unleashing some of the Beastiary

(Sounds like Rock. Lot's of electric guitar)

Boss: More Frightening Than any Beast in the Book

(Intense metal sounding. Lot's of stuff going on, especially with the drums)

Pyxis MoonFlames

Idle: "Determination Vibes"

Somewhat upbeat, although small bits of intimidation and intense-ness can be found in the song.

Battle: "Chief of Police"

Upbeat and kind of fast, but also seems somewhat intense. A few siren sounds can be found when listening closely.

Boss: "Champion of Truth"

Incredibly intense and sounds somewhat like it could be used in a car chase, while at the same time with odd vocals that make it seem like they're somewhat godly.

idle: The Moody Cosmonaut
A slow, moodier like 8-bit song that's relative low pitched and slow.

Battle: From the Stars
It's a 8 bit song, like the idle song. But there are high pitched notes in there, to mimic falling stars? (If that makes any sense LSDF  I cant explain at all today) its upbeat and quick like old battle themes tempts to be.

Boss: Call from the Cosmos
Def a theme with some cool drums in it? It mimics the Idle song for a bit, like a motive, but its quicker/darker!

Idle: Time to spare

A chilled sort of swing or jazz piece with some brass in there just to add some classy vibes. It'd also have a hint of mischievous-ness due to his title of 'The Imp'

Battle: You're Late - A Swinging Second

Faster and more punchy than the idle piece, probably with some funky time signatures and tempo changes due to his time abilities. Additionally, it'd sound a little sneaky too because...Thief-y!

Boss: Out of Time

Slower than the battle theme to give a more ominous vibe. Bring back that brass from the idle theme! There'd probably also be more shenanigans with the time signatures and tempos to really annoy the musicians highlight on his abilities with time manipulation.

Idle - Charred Leaves

Run of the mill idle theme, complete with flute.

Battle - Singing Smoke

A rumbling drum, accommodated with sounds of crackling.

Boss - Death at Dawn

A swinging bass complete with the sound of a raging fire.

I LOVE THOSE. THANK YOU

Idle: "Whispers of the world"

A very soft theme, composed of a quiet flute and violin melody with sounds of bells here and there.

Battle: "Isolation"

Slower than the first the second piece would be based around choir, bells and echoes. After the first few notes one might think it's suitable for a catherdal location, this minimalistic theme would create dark and omnious atmosphere.

Boss: "Fall and burn"

The last theme would be much faster and powerful than previous ones, mimics both the battle and idle theme, creating one harmonious piece from both. The choir and bells could still be present, but as the theme progresses- their sounds distorts- to resemble a slow process of melting a gem.

Zaleos muwi

Idle - 'Iuxta Me' (Close by Me)

Something where the main instrument would be a guitar, and playing a slow soothing melody, almost like a bedtime melody. It could be accompanied by slow piano at the back. Occasionally you can hear sounds of water. (Vi watering the plants.)

Battle - 'Contra vim mortis non crescit salvia in hortis' (No Herb Grows in the Gardens Against the Power of Death)

Death being Vi. Probably just exaggeration. A slow but somewhat eerie piano. It starts off kind of dramatic, maybe with organ, but it mellows out to be a piece that suggests that he is calm and in control, but emotions are starting to boil.

Boss - 'Quae ipso usu consumuntur' (Consumed by the Use Itself)

Vi's impatience has overtaken reason. A very frantic and desperate piece. It starts off with solo piano piece with choir vocals, slowly transitioning into a full piece with some backing violin and fast harp strums. The violin then overtakes the piano, and the song becomes fast paced. It maintains a really 'holy' image throughout.

Idle: “Look Only at Me”

Battle: “On the Edge of the Disc”

Boss: “Fly Close to the Sun”
