★Would you drink the person aboves potion?★

Posted 5 years, 10 months ago (Edited 4 years, 7 months ago) by Appicot

Okay! So I haven't seen anything simillar to this, so I would like to make a forum! Basicly, what happens is;

Person a will post (in character) Their characters potion and explain the advantages and disadvantages it brings! For example you become really lucky for a hour but you cant talk durring that hour! Person b then replies (In character) saying if they would or wouldnt drink person A's potion, then they say what option you woud get from their oc and so forth! A better example for this is//

Person a as their oc Doe: "I wouldn't drink that potion! Yea, being able to make anyone love you is cool but you have pains in your gut aswell, nuh uh!"

after leaving, doe dropped a potion! The potion is a jump boost potion! When drank, you gain the ability to jump higher BUT, you loose sight when you jump!

Person b as their oc jules: "well, im already blind so why not!"

Once jules walked away, potion in hand he dropped his own! This potion gives you extra speed, but you throw up after running!

And the cycle continues!

★Rules★

- You have to comment in character! When your oc talks, use "'s please!

- Wait 2 posts before posting again, but it has to be with a different oc!

- Nothing nsfw please!

- new update: A least write 2 scentances, just so its fair to anyone who rights walls of text! But at the same time, dont get mad at anyone who writes only 2 scentances as a reply, thanks!

Lets start off with Benny! Benny was running through the forest when he dropped his potion! This potion does +5 healing, but reduces your speed and attack speed! Do you drink this potion or leave it alone?

marina triplethesix

“I mean... It certainly sounds amazing... I-I’d love to fly, but you say they were... s-suspicious? I-I don’t know...” Marina said, staring at the bottle. “I-I suppose I could try it...”

Marina places a small, heart shaped potion with a bubbling pink liquid inside. The potion had a red ribbon tied around it in a bow. “T-This potion is a l-love potion.. If you drink it, it’s said that you’ll find t-true love...”

Alexyzandra FizzGryphon

Alex gazed uncertainly at the strange hybrid, suspicion in her eyes. "You're stuttering," she stated sharply, "How do I know this 'love potion' would work? And what are the risks. Potions like this don't come without them. You want me to buy and drink that? Well, you'll have to try harder."

You come up to a scratched, soot covered pegasus smiling eerily. There's something not right about the sidelong look she gives you. It's not malicious exactly, but dangerous nevertheless. She pulls a potion out of a bag she's carrying. "Well, traveler. Would you like to continue your journey or rest here? This potion would let you continue... for a price. You'll be awake and energetic for three days straight. No rest, no food, no water is needed... but when it wears off you'll sleep for two days straight and wake up starving and dehydrated. You won't die, I promise you. It's a small price for three days of nonstop energy."

Caspian "Cassie" Windsor sunnyshrimp

“Hmphm.” He folds his arms curiously, looking down at the potion, before shaking his head, “I’ll have to pass. Two days of no control is too much of a risk for me, I’m afraid— too much could go wrong.” Regardless of denying the offer, though, he picks it up, shaking it and eyeing it curiously, “But I do believe having a potion-maker on my side wouldn’t hurt. Thank you for the idea.” He smiles softly- it’s sinister. He puts the bottle down.

But he already seems to have a potion in his hand. The bottle is simple- not overtly shaped like anything, just a small flask. Its only odd characteristic is its size— it’s.. really quite small. “I suppose this is quite the moral test.” He looks down at the liquid— it’s completely transparent, “This potion will grant you a strength of your choice. Be it the world’s most powerful person, smartest, it is your decision.” He pauses, “But, if this is an offer you choose to take, the hypothetical opposite of what you chose will be weakened significantly. If you choose strength, your intelligence falters from what it once was. Choose intelligence, lose your physical prowess.”

Damien Castle HEAVENDELUXE

"Strength is nothing without intelligence." it seems like something odd for Damien to say; he's gone so far to supercharge himself into a superhuman villain, but it could be supposed that without intelligence he would never have achieved it. "Intelligence without strength .... well, I guess there's workarounds, but in the worst moments," and he pauses, squinting; "it's just you and your fists, isn't it. I'll pass. But if someone tries it .... let me know."

///

It's a grim bottle, all sharp edges and metallic sheen. the dark liquid inside is viscous and cloudy. Damien's got a glint in his eye as he reads the tag aloud. "'Drink to turn rivers of blood to gold.' You can create gold, by turning living human blood into it. Doesn't say how much, I guess one to one." Amusement is all he has to show. "Thoughts?"

 Summoner Erandia [FEH] Erandia

"Well, here's an unpopular opinion: In a situation like ours, I'd be willing to drink it." Stella shows a wry smile, though there is no actual warmth behind it.

"It's war. We inevitably will end up killing some of the non-Hero-based soldiers... and those of our enemies." She swirls the ominous looking bottle, as her brown eyes that are lacking the usual mischief and cheer quietly scans each crack and crevice on the container.

"It's rather unhinged, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to do to help with our war operations."

Stella sighed, the black Hex-in-a-bottle bubbled loudly as she makes her way toward the merchant. Seriously, this is the last time she'll agree to any potions training session with the combined weirdos of Tharja AND Rhajat. She doesn't care if it will help her out, it's just way too damn creepy!

Reaching the wandering (and poor unsuspecting) person, she coughs and tries to put on her best saleslady smile.

"Hello there! Do you have a grudge against someone? Maybe they did something unforgivable like steal your lover? Destroyed your life? Killed a loved one? Well look no further at this... Hex-In-A-Bottle! Drink it while thinking of the other person you hate and your accumulated grudge will settle onto that person, letting the karma slowly whittle their life! Maybe they'd get kicked ut of their apartment, maybe they'll get into an accident and be paralyzed, who knows?" Erandia twitched, recalling how the first test potion destroyed an enemy soldier's eye sight just because it managed to get a hit on Shigure.

"For a special consideration, I'll let you have a sample! So, what do you say pal? Give it a go?"

 Null Appicot

Null shook his head to the offer and shrugged with a cheeky grin appearing on his face, although not vissable under his plain white mask.

"I thank you for the offer, but alas I am already amune to death. Sickness could kill me but I will just come back and regenerate anything lost. It's rather intresting though, it can cure 'anything'? I know a few people who COULD use it but... No, I shall pass. It was a plesant offer though~!"

The demigod took the vile Phoenix offered and pushed it back to him. The demoggod as a small sidebagt with him and using his lower sets of arms, he pulled up a few random items and potions. He shoved back the random items and held up the potion to examine it, he used his top arms to pull off his mask to reveal his cheeky lasting grin.

"Now, this potion will make you see through the present and future, but! Do not think this is all that great~! Everytime you timetravle, people slowly start forgetting about you existing. Once ou fully are forgotten,  nothing bad will hapen but you CAN NOT go back to where you were originally from. You will be dead in seconds.  Everyone from anytimeline you have met will forget you, but once you are forgotten, you can start making more friends, just be prepared to loose them remembering you"

$5 GLITCH-DXCTOR

Kenri eyed the bottle with a strangely curious expression—an incredibly rare look for the usually... not intuitive... wolf.

“Y’know, being forgotten would have its advantages. Especially if I were to go back and rough it out with people I’ve fought before.”

Suddenly, his expression changed to one of anger—lips pulled back into a snarl, eyes burning with an intense fire.

“But I can’t have Machigatta forget me! Not the only person I’ve ever trusted. I don’t trust magic anyway, and seeing into the future is a cheap cheater’s way to win every battle!” He crushed the vial with one paw, ears flat back. “I don’t need that. I need the adrenaline that comes from NOT knowing what’s next!”

Calming down, Kenri pulled a different vial out of his fur and set it down. “On the topic of potions, I’ve got this one that I never wanted to use and have been trying to pawn off for ages. I was told it guarantees you victory in everything you try. Again, something I have no desire for. But there’s some catch or whatever. You get the absolute worst nightmares possible, bad enough to make you not want to sleep ever again. Also, you’ll probably end up turning into an eldritch monster of some sort.”

He dropped the vial, turning to leave. “This is why I hate magic. Oh, and if wealth is your thing, that potion’s highly coveted, so if you don’t want to drink it... Sell it.” Kenri walked away slowly, glad to finally be rid of some potions and emotions. (Oh hey that rhymes...)

Joey.D.wyvern Joey-D-yvern

Joey eyed the potion with interest and pulled it closer.

"oh, that looks nice, i know the perfect spot for it."

She had absolutely no intention of drinking it, just using it as a decoration. maybe selling it when it lost its whimsy. whatever it was said it was valuable. a small portal opened next to the bottle and Joey pushed it in. back at the main hive, snowpuff sniffed at the potion that landed on him before going back to sleep.

"I call this the berserker's potion. i originally made it by accident."

another portal opened and Joey fished a dull red jar out with her tail.

"You see, this potion has rather interestin results. You gain immense strength, however, there is some down sides. one is a blinding, primal rage. i have seen from a few tests that it does not matter who or what is near by, it shall all be destroyed. the second side effect is that about 20 minutes after you will become as weak as a newborn for about a day. I guess this potion could be useful in war or a life and death situation."

Joey paused to groom the fur on her chest and scratch a bit. She held the bottle close to herself with her tail. The eye on her chest blinked open and fixated on who she was talking to.

"Anyways i don't want it but, there is apparently a market for this stuff. relax, of course there is a counter, however he might not get his lazy rear there in time. do ya want it or not?"

 Topper PteraDoxical

The cat's grin stretches wider than should be possible and an eager expression overtakes his face.
"Deerie me... I already have primal rage and strength otherwise I would take it.... so I'll have to refuse...   However.... you are right about there being a market and since you are so graciously offering and you don't require it, I'd be more than happy to redistribute it to someone who.... needs it."  He takes a hold of it in his tail claws and leaves as quickly as they arrived: in a blur of shadow and confusion.

On the other side of the portal it seems a suspicious looking potion, filled with swirling shades of gold, fell from his hat while he was tipping it.  Topper seems to be oblivious to it as he keeps moving.  Just when he seems out of earshot a distinct, eerie, and playful but wrong sounding voice is heard as if it was right next to one's ear.

"I'm just a cat, simply doing kind deeds,
This one gives luxury, more than anyone's greed.
There are absolutely no downsides... well.. maybe a few
The people you knew simply won't remember you."

(OOC: AKA: Drink this potion and your character will have all the riches and luxuries they could ever want but they will be completely erased out of everyone's mind as if they never existed.)

Zinkur Esterofila

Zinkur quickly picked up the strange cat's potion, her strange alien eyes looking at it in wonder and excitement. She had nothing to lose!

Her sister hates her, her daughter never really talks to her, she didn't have any friends... She didn't really care for human wealth either, but just to have it!

She could pose as a wealthy human. She could actually enjoy her life on this disgusting planet! Her future was set! She could be... happy!

"But the humans always say that 'Monies can't buy you happiness'...", Zinkur said, twirling the potion in her fingers. "Clearly, they've never lived the life I have!

She popped open the vial, and drank it quickly, the texture odd, the flavor enchanting, and the liquid burning her throat. She threw the glass on the ground and cackled.

"My life is going to be so much more fun now!"

......................................................

Zinkur set down her freshly made potion on an Earth park bench for any passerby to see. She had spent hours on this, sending people out to gather alien ingredients to make this stupid thing. She wan't very good at alchemy, either, so this small red potion took months for her to make. She was exhausted, but this was something she apparently needed to do.

She also left a note next to the potion. She wrote it in "human", so the earthlings could read it. She looked over it once more and read it aloud to herself.

"Hello, Scumbag", she snickered, proud of herself for adding that. "This is a potion I made just for you. Nobody else, you. This is a special drink, and let me tell you why.

This is a potion of hypnotism. Drink this elixir, and you can hypnotize anyone of your choosing! Sounds like fun, yes?~

Of course, to every good thing comes a bad; Yes, you can hypnotize anyone you want... but only once! Only one person can feel your wrath, joy, greed, or whatever emotion you have! Good luck, create chaos, and don't come after me.

-Sincerely, a lonely alien gypsy."

 Iris GnashingT33th

Iris paused in the middle of her walk and shook the bottle lightly, observing the swirling liquid inside with a curious, if not dubious, gaze. She lightly tore off the note attached and read it quietly, twisting her hair around her metallic fingers in deep thought.

"Only one person hmm? I don't see a downside to that really, I just have to choose my target wisely~!" She tapped her finger to her face in thought, grimacing slightly. "But of course I could always just sell it to the highest bidder and work on my business, but where's the fun in that? Maybe I can get the robotics CEO to do my bidding.." Iris tapped her fingers against the bottle before, finally, opening the enclosed bottle and chugging it down. She smirked to herself and tossed the now empty bottle away. "Worth it."

----------------------

As she stood up from the bench, Iris pulls a square glass box out of her slime hair. Inside the box is a thick, dark red frozen substance with what appears to be chunks of cheesecake embedded inside. How odd.

Iris places the box on the bench and scrawls something on the side before walking away, smirking to herself.

"Congrats! You are now the first person to try a new experimental ice cream flavor! Eating this will result in an enhanced physique, endurance, and strength, perfect for aspiring athletes! Warning, this flavor has been untested on living subjects and may result in permanently impared vision and motor skills."

Willow [Willie] Appicot

Willow looked suspiciously at the box, then the surrounding area. Who would leave such a perfect condition bottle lying await for someone to take it? The potionmaker sighed, knowing it was riskey, but she had to just examine it, even for a bit. The soft feline sad down, then picked the potion up slowly, and read what was written on it.

"Extra strength...? I, oh.. I don't know"

She tapped her chin with her small paws, with a slow motion, she put back the potion where it lay await. Now SHE wanted to leave her own potion... but which one could she choose?

●★●

After a hour of humming and hawing, the cat finally decided. She plucked a small, bright green bottle from her robe and put it in th ground. Already attatched was a letter, since she needed to remember what each potion was as well, she was a potion maker.

"This potion tastes of apples, and it helps you stay full until this potion wears out, which is in a month. The downside, sadly, is once you come back you will have a potion withdrawal that will make your cravings and hunger even harder to deal with for two weeks."

She said out loud, then quickly scribbled something else on it

"if you want another potion, come visit my shop deep in the woods~★"

She always had to advertise her shop whenever of course. She quickly looked arojnd, then left, her appearence vanishing into the far distance

Valentine PicklePantry

Valentine laughed brightly from the opposite end of the table.
"Non!"
He declined so joyfully and stayed smiling.
"I do not get hungry as easily as humans, non? And if I am feeling full then I will not be wanting my chocolates, and those are treats too romantic to ignore, mon cheri! I cannot taste your potion but I can advertise your shop at my store, oui?"

Valentine floated downward in front of you, laughing dumbly while holding out a perfume bottle. "Drink it, mon ami!" he exclaimed.
"I have been studying a new love potion and had a thought: humans wear the love potion but what if they drink it like they like to believe, non? I do not know what it tastes like, mon cheri, but if my calculations are correct then people that see you afterwards will immediately fall in love with you, non? Try it! Try it!"
