i love the heavy stylization in this one! the sharp edges remind me of old cartoons n the grain of the noise adds a nice texture :33
With @orinscrivello's blessing, I'm taking on responsibility for the old thread! This is a pretty simple game where we celebrate all the wonderful art that everyone's characters have.
The last person to post in the old thread was Silital; the first person to reply should pick a picture of one of their characters!
Rules:
- Post or link your favorite picture of an OC belonging to the person who posted above you, and say what you like about it! Then let the person below you pick one for you!
- You can either post IC if you want the person below to pick a favorite picture of a particular character, or post OOC and let them pick their favorite picture of any of your characters!
- Make sure you look at the person above's characters and NOT the person's art tab, because not all of their art may be of their own characters!
- Either avoid picking pictures with content warnings, or link them with a warning rather than posting the direct image.
- Please write why you picked the picture! You don't need to write a novel, but "I like it because it's nice" doesn't tell the person much of anything! Write the sort of comment that you'd be happy to receive!
- Please ping the person above you so you make sure that they see your comment! If you're not sure how to do this, you simply type @THEIRUSERNAME, and they will be notified! This will not work if you edit the ping into your comment later (like if you wanted to claim and then edit your response in); you must put it in when you first submit the comment.
- You are NOT ALLOWED to skip anyone in this thread. If you cannot see the post above you because the poster or you have blocked each other, wait for another person to comment before replying to the thread. Feel free to bump the thread to encourage others to participate!
- Wait at least a couple of posts before going again, and try to vary the characters you post if you post IC.

This one!! I really like the pose , it's really well done and it feels super relaxed, the soft brown from the background helps the green from the hair to pop more also I absolutely adore the subtle touch of having the belt undone, those subtle details are my everything I love it so so so much.

You have suchhh good art in your characters' galleries it was very hard to pick just one, but I ended up choosing this picture of Alex! I absolutely love the rendering and composition, it reminds me of classical paintings which is super impressive <3 <3 Alex stands out nicely, it's obvious he is supposed to be the main subject of the painting, but without disturbing the harmony of the piece either! The picture is both elegant and fun to look at at once :]

This image of Cazm my love. The lineless style gives this doodle a soft feel, yet the pixelated lineart gives it a good crunch, especially with the rings and eyes. Their pastel colors blend in really well with each other. This picture shows their mellow and friendly vibes very well :} 10/10 would give so much love to them
I really like this image of Desmond!
The art style is nice, I think the brush and line weight picked for their style works well for together. He just looks confused, and a bit silly here, and I adore the outcome.
I also just think Desmond looks really cute :]
I was drawn to Desmond since the name reminds me of Desmond Jones in Ob La Di, Ob La Da by The Beatles. It’s got an upbeat, “life goes on” vibe to it, which I feel like could suit this Desmond in a way? Just taking the opportunity to plug The Beatles whenever I can, don’t mind me.

@NP - Chiffur has the largest gallery out of my characters, but other characters within the Mains folder are also fine choices.
i think i'd have to pick this! i'm a sucker for death-related imagery & spider lilies are my favorite flower, so to be fair i'm quite biased, but i was immediately drawn to this one. i think it's composed well, the relatively limited palette helps each element read clearly and doesn't blend together too much so it feels very easy on the eyes. feels very much like a piece of official art, i'm a fan!
