I originally posted this on the main PSA thread but have been encouraged to make it a proper public PSA.
I've encountered an issue with the user Skullkin trying to resell characters that were traded to them.
I traded designs with them a while ago, exchanging them an anthro rabbit design by Lagena for an anthro design that they had. I had been originally traded the anthro rabbit design myself and the ownership page rights were specifically set to reflect that the design could be retraded and regifted but not resold. I noticed today though that the design was pending a sale to another user and I commented on the page to notify them that the character could not be resold, only traded. My comment was deleted. So I reposted my comment and Skullkin responded claiming that because I did not specifically tell them that it couldn't be resold, that they had the right to resell it. They claimed that they had a right to resell any design they owned. I remember an issue similar to this popping up in the past with someone having their own TOS for trades to give themself the ability to resell anything.
So I guess this is a small PSA to watch out for Skullkin who will resell designs that you trade to them, whether they are allowed for resell or not.

Since our interaction Skullkin has now deleted the character completely and reuploaded it to change credits as they please.
They have not given proper credit to the original artist, have changed the rights to resell to approve, and labeled themself artist of the art.

actually I think you should. i went to go take a look at their account and they reuploaded the character you're talking about so the character permissions are set to can be resold. screenshot album link. new character page link.
it looks like they just did that too and were in the process of reuploading all the art when I nabbed screenshots. maybe you could let the original designer know what's going on? if you know who it is ofc

Skullkin has since deleted the character Candyghouls traded them, left off the original artist and is now putting themselves down as the artist of all of the art on the character. The ownership page now reads that they can gift, trade or resell the character.
I've linked the original and re-uploaded pages. I've since reported the re-upload to the admins. Please note there are nsfw images on the pages as I've left them unedited.

I will update this with Lagena's response as soon as I receive one.
I have received a response from Lagena confirming that resell is NOT ALLOWED.

I have no intentions, Skullkin, of removing this PSA. You were awful to me when I tried to point out the issue with that Lagena design that I had traded you.
You blatantly don't care about artists and their creative rights to their designs or the common rules of adopt trading and selling that we all adhere to.
You ARE bothering people, you are taking advantage of people who don't know about the way you bend TOS to try to make a profit off of someone else's hard work.
You are disrespecting artists and this community, which is a very big bother to a lot of us because that isn't cool. That isn't okay.
If you want to be left alone yourself, do as OccultLuxury said, own up to your mistakes and apologize, change your ways.
Otherwise all you're doing is crying crocodile tears.
Also, noticed this lovely little message on their Hammerlockestadium account. A clear indication they haven't learned, they are still breaking TOS, and don't care that they are.
"Bringing up shit from years ago" the design I made that I mentioned a few pages back was literally made last year, but go off I guess.
I personally messaged all users who originally had most of the designs asking them if the user had permission
some of the characters the creators don’t mind it being sold as long as it’s not more then originally Bought for but some of them of course messaged them or commented on said character
I did say of course say that selling characters you did not pay for yourself is wrong and always will be wrong unless you ask first

You're welcome, and I totally understand. I'm taking everything said in it with a grain of salt as I've seen(thanks to this PSA) how things have gone regarding this user and how many people have been affected by all this.
I wanted to make sure I got you this info asap cause I felt it was important to relay it, so hopefully it helps some.
I'll keep checking in here, and will share additional info if I come across any.
