Today's Father's Day in America, so what better excuse to make a thread showing off all the dads of Toyhouse? Show off your dad OCs here! You can just drop 'em off and leave, talk about their relationships with their family, say how they feel about fatherhood, whatever you want!
Good dads, horrible dads, dad joke dads (which can be good or horrible depending on your sense of humor,) dads that are just kinda there in the background but still have a profile, adoptive dads, step-dads, godfathers, non-binary dads, dead dads, dads whose status as a dad is a spoiler... as long as they're a parental unit who identifies with dadliness, this is the thread for them! And, don't worry, you can keep posting in this thread once Father's Day is over!

I got plenty more dads, but I only have profiles for a couple!:
Hadris is the adoptive father of Valence, having picked her up from a dead world he was conquering. He's the epitome of stereotypical dadliness. He makes dad jokes, calls Valence (and even people who aren't his kids, honestly) things like "kiddo" and "sport," and always appreciates getting ties on Father's Day. He might be an all-conquering evil overlord, but he's a pretty good dad even though he and Valence had a rough patch during her rebellious teenage years.
Laejizhar (icon and gallery contain body horror/gore due to his nature as a walking mass of viscera) is the father of Baldasarre, who really needs a profile literally anywhere since he's a character I've RPed with quite a few times. But I digress! He abandoned his son at a young age due to being unable to cope with the death of his wife, focusing instead on his career. As time went on, though, his guilt grew and he sought to repair his relationship with Baldasarre. Unfortunately, when he returned home he found that Baldasarre had developed the same disease that took his wife's life, and even with all of the technology Laejizhar's wealth can afford he knows Baldasarre's time is limited. He's effectively retired to spend the rest of his years dedicated to taking care of his son, ensuring his comfort, trying to make up for lost time, and searching for a cure for Baldasarre's disease so that he can have even more time with him.
Laejizhar's a pretty loving and caring dad who's taken a page from his friend Hadris. He's more reserved than Hadris, however, and though he tries to hide it it's easy to tell how guilty he feels and how much regret still weighs him down. Baldasarre treats him pretty coldly and always acts distantly toward his father, which makes things difficult. Laejizhar knows, however, that it's his fault for abandoning his son when he needed him, so he's patient and willing to take his time in earning Baldasarre's trust back. Daydream has a baby! He (quite literally) gave up a piece of himself for them to even exist and he wouldn't change that for the world.
I got two dad OCs on here! There names are Alowishus and Leslie and they are both the parents of Jerry, who I have yet to make a profile for. Both of them are very good dads, they’re the kind to make really bad dad jokes. They both really love Jerry even tho sometimes they have a hard time of showing it, but they want him to be the safe and happy and they'd do anything to make sure he is. Alowishus is a very weird dad, the kind who plays weird music for their kid and does weird things to embarrass their kid, but he is very kind and caring and he will absolutely love to take Jerry fishing on nice days. Leslie is more awkward as a person in general but that doesn’t stop him from caring a whole lot, and he is always there to help Jerry with whatever problems he has- from homework, to anything. Leslie was also the one who built Jerry a robotic arm when he needed it.
Both Alowishus and Leslie want to be the best parents they can be, and they know they aren’t used to parenting all that much but they will do their absolute bests to take care of their kid they love so much.
OHOHOHO BOY. I don't think I ever posted here, so here we go.
Death's an adoptive father to Edith, and he's doing absolutely amazing. He tries to be the best father he can be and sometimes gets a little too overprotective, but only because he wants what's best for her, especially knowing that if she's not careful.. bad things will happen.
I also have Lucifer, the father of Paris and Garrett. He's the CEO of dad jokes and music, and absolutely loves anything that involves ice cream or sugar. He gives Paris a bit more attention to get him ready to take the throne, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love Garrett as equally. He just doesn't trust his decision-making, but he did teach Garrett how to play a few instruments though, pretty much as a sort of bonding kind of thing. Despite being shorter than almost everybody else, he's still physically strong and will beat up anyone who even attempts to hurt his sons.
And then, there's Cadmus, the father of Axel. Cadmus is pretty strict and cautious, which comes from the loss of Axel's mother years ago, which led them to flee to the island they now live on. Despite this, he still loves his son so much and does everything he can for him. In fact, he even cancels something to arrange his sons wedding.
You can tell all my father characters are really supportive and kldnjk- Supportive dad characters just give that great serotonin y'know?
So far I have two dads, Valefor (posted IC) and Agares!
Valefor is definitely a good dad for sure, but it's kinda complicated out of that since he's like... a thief with no qualms of backstabbing people. He's the adoptive father of Volac! He can be a bit strict and overprotective, but he means only the best for him and may God have mercy if you ever try to hurt Volac whenever he's around...
Here's how he met him... or well, a very abridged version of it:
(mention of abuse) After escaping from an abusive relationship back in Heaven and then falling to the mortal worlds, he had to survive via theft (initially) and acting as a familiar to whoever summoned him. Eventually Volac tries to steal something that he was carrying for a summoner, but Valefor can't bring himself to get mad at him because Volac really reminded him of how he was while he was younger; he starts taking care of the boy whenever he can before deciding to adopt him when he went back to Hell.
As for Agares, he's also the adoptive dad of Vassago! Vas still sees him as a father figure and often interacts with him whenever he can; like Valefor, Agares means well but can be a bit overprotective aha. Still, he does acknowledge that Vas is an adult and is trying to not be so overprotective of him. Agares is a much better dad than Vas' old dad, I can definitely say that-

As to how he met Vas, Agares was supposed to be Vassago's tutor back when they were both angels (and when Vassago was a child), and Vassago grew more connected to him over his actual father; when Vassago fell because of his prophetic powers and Agares making himself fall out of guilt, Agares adopted Vassago after finding out that Vassago was also in Hell.
Needlehands in monsterdad, he basically adopted Sommy after he found them bleeding out in the street. Now he helps them and all the other superkids. He's also Sommy's like third dad and also their best. He always tries to give them life advice and calls them up every few days to check in. Sommy's also trying to teach him dad jokes lol
Victor and Chris both have 6 kids. God help them.
