Dearest Mother,

Truthfully, I hate everyone and everything here. It is as if no matter how much effort I put before me, I will always be left behind and on the ground. I do not understand how anyone, even you could endure this. It has been unbearable, and a torture I would not wish upon my greatest foes. If my duty was to teach me something, to enlighten something before me, I have yet to see it. If my duty was to punish me, I feel as if I have served sentences several lifetimes over.

I want to return home.

But alas, I know I cannot. I mean no disrespect, after all I had made my promise to you. I can only hope and hold onto all of these little precious moments between my suffering. As I write to you, like before, I do so as tears dampen my face. I do not know how much longer I can hold out. However, I can see this dream of yours, to cure this plagued land of its foolish and pointless wars. But to do so... I'm not sure if what you had in mind would be the best.

Though, truthfully, I am but a child among immortals. If anyone truly knew how I felt about... Him.... It matters not. I will carry out your will. I do hope this finds you in good health.
