Escape
If the flesh could speak, hers would scream
Writhing and singing of a thousand terrors
She waits, she waits, the silence is defeaning
It is empty even of the love he claims for her
Still, she fights, she grows, she blooms
For she is more than skin upon bone
She is more than a dying doll on the freezing floor
She is animal, creature, a force of nature
And one day the knife of justice will settle in her hands
One day she will free herself from he who is known as father
