Evergrim resides in a mountain range. There are a few caves dotted about but they are generally blocked by ice. The ground is always covered in at least 2 feet of powdery snow, it’s practically swimmable. The castle itself is seemingly infinite, it’s magic and the halls and rooms grow and change and new ones are always popping up, there’s no way to make a map of it, but some places appear often, like the bedrooms. There are sometimes stairs that go down forever or up forever and it’s just really confusing. Along the halls there are torches, too high for the cats to reach but they never die out, if they are unlit it’s because the castle chooses so.

Their greatest asset is their quick mind. They can come up with a reason for anything in a flash. They can weave and excuse in record time. Another lie is always on the tip of their tongue just waiting to spring free. They’re always the first to answer when there’s a question and can solve riddles before anyone else.

Their greatest flaw is their lack of emotion. They have plenty of it but it’s practically all stress and anxiety that they had to ban any feeling from their mind. They’re still constantly worried, but to keep functioning they must also push away any weak feelings of happiness or joy, or anything positive.

One day Echo decided she wasn’t cool enough and for the rest of the day would only use z instead of s. Also the rest of this story is written like that, enjoy. Echo waz going to be one of the kool kidz. Zhe would never uze the evil letter again. Zhe was no longer a mortal cat and had tranzcended the limitz of reality. Zhe would rule all of exiztence and nobody could ztop her. Echo waz driving literally all of the catz in the mob of evergrim inzane. They did not like her coolnez, it wazn’t cool enough. Zo she decided to take it up a notch and dye her fur blue. Zhe took a blue raspberry zlushie and did the ice bucket challenge with it. Zhe now had blue fur and waz cooler than anybody could have ever zeen ever in all of everything that ever exizted. Everyone thought zhe was zo cool that they all bowed down to her. They all wanted to be juzt like her, zhe was a role model for the younger catz and they would worzhip her forever becauze zhe was better than they were. The parent catz were dyeing their kiz headz blue, the kidz loved it and the kidz without blue headz were zuper zad. Echo waz zo amazing that they declared her the queen of evergrim and banned the curzed letter. But then tragedy ztruck. The zun came up one morning and when Echo woke up she realized that it waz all a dream. In the real life zhe tried doing the zame ztuff, but juzt got brain freeze inztead. And everyone worked together to gag her until zhe ztopped talking zo annoyingly. Zhe was very dizheartened but didn’t give up until they had to ungag her to feed her, but only gave her dry cat food, ew.
