Chapter 5

Prompt Five:

Fog has been thick over the land for days, making it near impossible to hear, smell, or see anything. What are you going to do?

1: Try to hunt despite the unfavorable conditions.

2: Wait it out in your den, you don't want to become the hunted.

3: Seek company since something is clearly amiss.

4: Go out to see what mysteries the fog holds.

--------------------------------------------------

Hualiama Day 5 - choice 1
The granthera tilted his head as he nosed his way out of the den, sniffing at the scent of dew so close. He blinked at the pale forest and rubbed his face with a paw, then sighed at the fog that obscured everything. His stomach was grumbling and Hyperion was grumbling even louder so he had to go out to get away from the grumpy thrax. It was that or get pulled into a fight. He huffed a breath in the cool air and grimaced at the lack of any sort of trail. This was going to be interesting.

Hydra Day 5 - choice 4
The young gran's wide ears perked at the thick fog, but moved fearlessly into the dewy evening. Her mane immediately felt heavier as dew gathered, but Hydra wasn't bothered. It only made the world feel more magical and she wondered what the fog meant. Perhaps it was the gods trying to tell them something? She peered into the forest and picked a direction at random.

Prompt Five Results:

Choice One: Hunting proved unsuccessful, the fog is too thick and disorienting. All you got was a bump on your head from running into a tree - well, and some pine cones from hitting it so hard. At least it was a solid 50 pine cones to add to your bundle.

Choice Four: Your exploration turned up a lone creature as curious about you as you are about it. You mutually agreed to travel together and explore the fog together.
