Strangers [1]

“Stranger danger, stranger danger!” The small winding noodle zipped away, trying to quickly lose one of the brightly colored birds that has mistaken her for a flying worm. That’s what she assumed anyways, and she blamed them not as all creatures hungered. She however, didn’t enjoy this one bit as she darted like a scared snake. Unlike the danger ropes, she was one of the non violent ones that couldn’t help just fleeing over fighting.

“Yua! Elija! Help!” Her small and distressed voice called as she dove suddenly into a bush and was followed. Thankfully, the bird was bigger and hindered by the bushy leaves. A huff heard as the soft noises of thinner branches bending and breaking, the bird waiting patiently for the tasty noodle to come out and feed their hunger.

“Princess?” The blond haired incubus called, soft whispers to the redhead asking if he too heard the small dragon call for them as well.

“Princess, where are you, darling?” Yua called as well, his eyes looking over the scenery but now not hearing anything he wondered was she whisked away. A worrying thought on it’s own as he moved aside leaves.

“Stranger danger!” Princess squeaked out, the bird making a noise of its own as it pecked at some of the bush’s leaves in hope that Princess had come close enough to be snatched.

Feeling her heart pound, she jumped as something larger rustled the bush and the bird was driven off. Her small heart beating so hard until she spotted the darker colored clothes and light colored hair, wrapping around that offered pale hand that belonged to her rider.

“Oh, princess, my baby.” Elija cooed, stroking her small body as Yua examined her and stroked along her dark colored body. The stranger was gone, a shiver cascading over her body at the mere thought. She was safe once more, no more strangers were near her. With that, she sighed with relief.
