FOTD 2021

The blue and gold trimmed plates laid neatly on the table. Shiny, fragile looking, so fine and only used for nicer dining experiences. Vina’s eyes hovered just above the counter, staring at the delicate items she for once wasn’t about to touch until told she could. She was learning to behave for the boys, knowing it was always better to listen to them and sometimes even got rewarded for being the good girl she swore she always was.

She did put one of her hands on the counter, oh so tempted to touch but laaaaater. Later when food was sitting on them, or tea cups, or whatever Krites was going to put on them. She only knew that Archos and Zoren were coming over, from Folkren’s invite, so the den was being rearranged for that double date dinner.

“Vina, are you being a good girl?” Ducking down a little, she waaaaaas but Kri’s voice always made her feel guilty about thinking about doing things she wasn’t supposed to do.

“Yes, I'm the best girl.” She responded back, getting gentle head pats as Kri took a metal kettle of the stove to pour into an equally as white and fragile looking teapot with leaves in it. “What are you pouting the tea into?” She asked curiously in the end, never seeing the pretty dishes up close.

“Porcelain dishes, they came from where Archos and I used to live. I figured he’d enjoy seeing them.” Humming, Vina at least understood that much, leaning up again to watch with her saucer like eyes as Krites pulled desserts out of a cupboard too high up for her and started putting it out.

“They’re very pretty....” She cooed, reaching out a hand to slooooowly tap the golden edge and Kri stopped to watch her, but went back to work with his knife.

“Yes they are, why don’t you go sit with Lykos. He was looking lonely in the living room.” Gasping, she was off without a second thought. Adoring all the time she got to spend with the sir.
