Demento

Demento

They have a skull similar to that of a cat, with two horns protruding from the place where their ears would be. These horns can be of any color, but they will always have gradients and lights along their length. Their body can be rigid, according to their will, but it lacks bones. It can maintain its body in a gelatinous consistency and alter it to any shape it desires. It has fur all over its body, except on its horns and tail. Its body color ranges from black to white, with all shades of gray. It is extremely rare for a Demento to have more than one shade of gray on its body; when they do, it's usually due to scars or birthmarks.

They have four eyes, all of which can see. The upper and larger ones see the world like the Drakomis. The lower and smaller ones perceive auras and light, which are their sources of food. The pupils of the lower eyes change according to what the Demento is feeling. The eyes can only have one fixed color for each side (those on the right side must necessarily have the same color - like green - and those on the left side will have the same color - like red). A Demento can have blind eyes, but it MUST always have a lower eye that can see, or it will die of hunger.

There is always a bright moon on its forehead, surrounded by up to 4 four-pointed stars. A Demento is classified in terms of power based on these stars; zero is a Demento with little magic, 4 is an extremely rare and powerful Demento. These moon and stars shine and indicate the hunger the Demento is feeling; the dimmer they are, the hungrier it is. This makes it very difficult when facing a Demento: they only attack Drakomis when they are hungry, which makes it impossible to know if they are strong or not until you fight them.

Its mouth has two large, pointed teeth that pierce its prey to suck its aura. It can also consume light by touching its moon to the source. They have no paws and float at will, but they cannot float very high (at most 3 times their height). They hate bright places. Their natural habitat is in shadows and darkness; their eyes can be harmed by intense light. If you're thinking of adopting a Demento, don't expect to take it out in daylight for a walk; keep it in a dark room, and it will be happy.

They are nocturnal animals and tend to get agitated during this period. They usually eat twice a day. They sleep about 16 hours a day, with 10 of those hours being light, dreamless sleep. They feed on light or plant auras. When very hungry, they feed on animal auras. Weight: they typically weigh between 2.5 to 6kg. Pure ones can weigh up to 20kg; Age: they typically live up to 20 years. Pure ones can live up to 50; Reproduction: they can have up to 8 offspring per year; Temperature: 39 degrees; Sound: Similar to a meow.

Pure Dementos are completely black or completely white in color. They are more resistant, have 4 stars on their forehead, are larger, and more intelligent. They can only reproduce with another pure of the same hue. They can only be adopted as babies; after that, they cannot get used to physical contact with other species. When adopted, they are very loyal to the Drakomi that took them in. They do not get along well with other animals unless they are accustomed to them from infancy. Your Demento may eat your plant or other pet if you do not introduce them before it becomes an adult. It's not common, but it happens: when very hungry, a Demento may attack a Drakomi or another living being to suck its aura. When it sucks the aura, the prey has less energy and disposition and may wither and die until the Demento sucks all its aura.

Dhoga

Dhoga

They inhabit areas with PLENTY of rocks/stones and forests with dense vegetation. They feed on meat, whatever it may be. From other animals or from Drakomis themselves if they're attacked. They are wild animals, so they are dangerous. HOWEVER, if an adventurous Drakomi wants to tame them, it's possible with plenty of perseverance and courage.

Legend has it that the first Dhoga was born after a rock fell directly into a volcano. The toxic gases, a magic contained within the planet, and the heat of the place were so intense that a creature was born from there. A Dhoga measures around 1 meter in height and weighs a measly 30kg; they are skittish creatures, and their body temperature is never below 57°C. Their tongue and teeth are greenish, a glaring sign that one should not get too close to them! Dhogas are small compared to other animals, but due to their "power" to drool an acidic substance, they can fend off much stronger animals quite well, and of course, they can also easily pierce something or someone with their claws and horn. They can live up to 24 years.

Natural Wolves

Natural Wolves

They primarily inhabit the planet Arcil. Their diet varies from each region, being omnivores or carnivores depending on food availability. They are only dangerous if provoked; otherwise, they pose no threat. It is said that they were created by the firstborn of Hydroer as a gift for Alef to help maintain the elements on Arcil, such as earth, water, fire, and air, but over time, other elements began to emerge, such as ice, cave, and diamond.

When the Drakomis began to be born and dominate the world, these animals went into hiding. Today, little is known about how to find them, making them seem like legends. On average, they live for decades, around 300 years.

Piatitto

Piatitto

Buried in ruins, in the residence of an unsuspecting Drakomi, in a pawnshop... They 'feed' on dust and particles from the air, but they don't feel hunger or need to eat; they simply absorb these. The Piatittos are spirits created from stellar dust by Astromis long ago. They serve to guard things, appearing as 'fluffy' spirits and are always accompanied by a pot, their residence. This pot doesn't have a mandatory shape or a specific color; it depends on the taste of the Astromi who created it.

A Piatitto will always be accompanied by an item, its treasure, given to it by someone, and it will NOT let go of this item for ANYTHING, unless someone trades something with it. If it senses that some rogue Drakomi intends to steal its treasure, it will lock itself in the pot with the item and will not come out anymore, and there is nothing that can take it out because it will use magic to protect itself and its pot.

They are very possessive creatures but quite loyal. Just don't try to take their treasure without offering something in return... They were the methods used to guard some of the scrolls that told the history of the world. They live as long as they have a treasure; if by some miracle someone manages to take a treasure from them, they die of sadness.

S

Safix

Safix

The small and squirrel-like Safix, timid and curious creatures that live peacefully alongside the Drakomis. Once found only in fields and farms as small helpers controlling pests, nowadays they are very common in cities as pets. They are omnivorous, but they have a particular preference for plump Bolinho Caterpillars (small insects the size of a finger that can decimate entire wheat fields) and chestnuts. They can grow up to 50 cm in length, and their "wings" can have up to 32 petals each, with an average of 12 to 18 petals, and they can live up to 50 years.

When startled, they assume a defensive position resembling a G-clef, causing their wings to form a flower and their tail to cover their head as if it were a leaf, attempting to camouflage themselves as a flower in the midst of flowery forests to escape potential predators. They pose no threat to the Drakomis; on the contrary, Safix get along very well with Drakomis and are faithful companions. Polygamous yet faithful, they tend to live in groups of 5 to 6 adult Safix, regardless of gender, and once a group is formed, they remain together until the end, caring for their eggs and nest without discrimination.
