A militia of Lysander's younger "siblings" who failed to escape the hands of Artefice and his indoctrination, ultimately becoming immortal puppet soldiers.
"Stone Hearted" is simply the name they are commonly referred to by the local populations they've passed through. Their official name is "Cuori di Una Nuova Nazione".
Their mission is to employ terrorist and guerilla tactics to desestabilize local kingdoms, in order to perform military coup d'etats and incorporate each realm into an always expanding empire, the Imperium dei Cuori. This ever-expanding army has multiple branches to ensure the authority of such stays present throughout conquered territory, and such branches include Infantry, Royal Guard, Law Enforcement Militia and Special Forces. Always equipped with the finest gear manufacturers can provide, the Stone Hearted consist only of the most elite of operatives.
In order to amass such legions of these artificial combatants, several artists are employed to mass manufacture them at a steady pace, and the Imperium heavily invests in aesthetic propaganda and education related to sculpture in hopes to have a steady flow of generations of artists willing to supply its armies.
Currently, the Imperium is in a secret alliance with Heaven's Order, as their goals of building a supremely authoritarian state on earth align.

They're often sent into battle for territorial wars, though it's not uncommon to see
them also occupying recently-conquered villages to establish the Imperium's authority
while proper measures such as the presence of a proper Royal Guard are in progress.
