Phyles

These are the names given to each phyle, with members of each being called the given name, added to the suffix -phyle. For example: a Saphran warrior, member of the Makha, is called a Makhaphyle: one who demonstrates affinity for battle.

  • Makha
        Warriors, mercenary nomads.
The life of each is led alone, offering services for those seeking violence, be it for whatever reason, usually vengeance or greed. Sowers of the seeds of destruction, as peaceful relations between different peoples strenghtened, these warriors are now set on the path of their own extinction, as they refuse to adapt.
They thrived during the colonies, but now, most of them have moved to Cenedra or Anastia, to continue in their line of work.
  • Exerevno
Explorers; the original navigators, with a great deal of them coming to Cenedra, establishing clans in Tirenadh.

  • Sopho
        "The religious without a god"
Seekers of the true truth, they study mythologies, hoping to find common ground, which may establish lore that explains the origins of the world and strange ocurrences, such as the mysterious Terra Ignis event.

  • Therape
        Healers.
Almost all of them share the trait of not liking to be visited, and often hate the sight of someone else in anguish, be it physical or mental.

  • There
        Hunters.
Heavily connected to nature, they view themselves as only part of the food chain, holding such bond they have with local fauna as sacred.

  • Arkhe
        Historians, archivists and cataloguers.
They are concerned with registering everything, often working in conjunction with the Therapephyles or Exerevnophyles.

  • Georgo
        Farmers.

  • Grapho
Artisans, musicians, painters, illustrators and cartographers.

  • Oikodomo
        Architects and engineers.
They often were the manual labourers of their own projects as well, with the assistance of members of other phyles only being required when such project was for their own use.

  • Emporo
        Merchants.
Though their spread was minimal before colonization, as there was not much need for trade in egalitarian, autosufficient civilizations, they became a quite important group with the arrival of Anastian settlers, and continue to be with the exports through the Cenedran trade route.
