The Chosen

Commonly known as the Golden Eyed, as these are the defining features of such individuals, who have personally seen a god (often in visions during sleep) such as the immortals Orchid and Lotus, and the warlocks Leviet and Nemanja.

They have not neccessarily had powers bestowed upon them as Champions, and so there are a great amount of Chosen scattered across the globe, often mortals who simply witnessed them in their dreams, often presenting orders, and began to devote their souls and bodies to such god as their servants.
The golden glitter covering the natural color of the irises serves as a thin film, capturing and projecting images of the mortal realm for the gods who applied such.
In some cases, such as those of both warlocks, only one iris of each is affected. This was a conscious decision by both patrons, as it would allow one eye to easily be covered to hide the glittering iris, and thus the status of being Golden Eyed.

This status may vary across the world, but the stereotype held most commonly is those of non-believers who think of them as harbingers of chaos and unpredictably unstable, carrying out their own delusions in the name of the divine. It's for this reason having them hid would be preferred for two gods like Rhodes and Ruaidhri, as they rely on both of their warlocks to remain undetected so their reputation, essential to the duty each god has reserved for them, is unharmed by rumors.
