TeaBane Traits

TeaBane a cursed Aermerea Species

Ever wonder if you put a non edible flower in your tea, more specifically a poisonous one. Then you whip in a little magic, and... oh no you cut your finger on the rim of the glass, oh no a bit of your blood got into the tea... and boom. Suddenly you have a wicked little thing that looks something like a Teablossom but it definitly isn't. The opposite of Teablossoms, this small ritual will summon a TeaBane, a forbidden fairy species, and forbidden spell in Aermerea. At least until now. Someone from corruptions side must have leaked the secret, it was probably Nemesis, and now these babies are getting around. The key to summoning these babies as stated above is a poison flower, some of your own magic, and a little drop of blood.

So prick your finger and feed that flower if you want one of these less than savory creatures, cause TeaBanes are here. You can also get these from the shoppe from Neva, she will blend one hell of a tea for you;literally, if you give her enough compensation. She doesn't care about light or dark she is a woman of her own wills. She will curse the custom tea blend for you to make sure its extra potent for guaranteed TeaBane spawn. Do not drink this tea under any circumstances. These regular teas with a poisonous twist are a tea to die for afterall. Get your gothic mischevious little fairy today~

Don't like small fairies? That's okay, they can grow to be full sized if you wish it or you can keep them small. These aren't your typical tiny fairy, as a small creature they are anywhere from 10 inches minimum to 18 inches tall max. In their more fully grown form they are 4'0" and at tallest 5'5". They have a very light diet, they like to eat traditional tea party foods, sweets, tea sandwichs and cakes etc.

They still like to wear fancy clothes and things you might find at a tea party but with a dark twist, sporting lots of gothic fashion and dark colors. That being said there are so many things they like to wear so go wild.

Crystal Infused Teas | Spiced Teas | Herbal Teas | Fruit Teas | Floral Teas | and yes Tea Lattes and More Tea Lattes
Classic/Darjeeling -Black tea, Green tea, White tea, Red tea, Purple tea, Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Assam, Oolong, Rooibos.

Fun fact Darjeeling teas specifically are also known as the Champagne of teas and have a thin body, light color infusion and a nice floral aroma. So fancy~

Just to also give a little note teas can be mixed and matched as seen in the examples below. They aren't raritized we just wanted to give people clear categories. Please have fun~

Pay Attention

Make sure you represent your tea properly in your teabane bauble. The following should be present.
Crystal infused = small crystals
Spiced = spices
Herbal = herbal leaves
Fruit = small bits of fruit
Classic teas = proper color
Tea lattes = milky color or swirled
These are not your only options just simple examples.

You can now also add whipped cream to the top of your liquid and toppers such as sprinkles, sugars, chocolate shavings and other tea fare whipped toppings. Keep in mind this should be a tasty tea so don't go out in left field and put the whole kitchen sink in for funsies.

Make sure you clearly label your tea. This is important for design turn to make sure the liquid reflects the tea and we also log these on the Teamerean Tracker. There are many types of tea out there so go wild! There are no rarities so do as you like. You can not stack traits. You can only have 1 tea, blended teas count as 1 tea, custom blends are allowed. You can have up to 3 flowers total in your tea packet, they can be different then your tea type. This makes for unique blends!

Basic Ear Info

(Please Read this is important~)
Ear Information

There are more or less Four Ear types with varients: (Please remember No humanoid ears allowed.) Visual Examples Below~

Cracked or Splintered Tea filled animal shaped ears- these are clear like a glass and can come in colored glass but must always have tea + petal or flowers in it.

Cracked, Chipped, Faded, or Blackened Porcelain animal shaped ears- must have pattern on back minimum. Must have a pullout or clearly show the pattern on the myo design. Can be ball jointed ears or not. Or you can have porcelain animal shaped ears, with a back pattern and an inner pattern. Both patterns must be clearly pictured. Patterns can mismatch, as in the inner pattern can differ from the outter.

Tarnished or Blackened Metal filigree/cage ears are still animal shaped, must have loose leaf tea inside, loose leaf must be visible. This type of ear has a special barrier that keeps the loose leaf tea from falling out, but allows a scent or aroma to come out as lovely colored wisps of smoke. Smoke should be the same color as your tea liquid or tea ingredients. Smoke is preffered to be present on the MYO. These ears can not be pictured as broken.

Tattered Full Flower Ears - Regular or Cracked or Splintered Porcelain. Exactly as it sounds this trait lets you have the flowers you made your TeaBane from as their ears either cast in porcelain or a live flower. You can only pick one flower from your blend, you must use the whole head of the flower. No leaves can be used. It is not advised to use the Flower Crown or Flower Laurel fashion item with this trait.

Proper Pattern Cover Example

Has to be 90% of a full body part

Art of Verse by ChaoticGecko

TeaBanes can also have a glass waist piece or chest piece must have tea and petals in it. They can not have any other glass pieces except ears, tail bauble, and this one. Must also be cracked chipped etc for Teabanes.

A note about Petal Wings they must use the petals from which the teabane was made. You can only pick one flower from your blend. They can be tattered or full and lively.

TeaBanes have Faded or Blackened Porcelain porcelain body patterns/ teacup patterns on skin. It can be the whole body or one body part, like left arm, right leg, or something, it just needs to be 90% of that body part. There has to be a matching pattern on every porcelain piece. So ears, tail, body, all have to follow the same theme. Please look up tea cups for inspiration. These are things like floral patterns, scenery, and other such fare found on teacups.

Fashion Requirements

Fashion Items Information
Excuse our kittens, fashion items are in the works and are coming soon for now enjoy all the kitties, they change every day~

TeaBanes have the same distinct fashion items they like or wear as a Teablossom does, your TeaBane has to have at least one of these items on their design. You certainly can use more than one fashion item on a design. These babies were born from flowers so the more the merrier, just make sure they are clearly labeled for turn in. They also like to wear a tea tag charm on their person, typically it labels the type of tea they are, it can be anywhere on them or their outfit. That being said the tea tag charm is an added accessory, it can not be your only fashion item, so you will still need a flower fashion item to be approved~ This item should be based on the flowers, or flower they were made from. They are made of flowers, or flower pieces aka petals. You can find more info on these below.

Fashion Items

Remember a tea tag doesn't count on its own,
so you need one more item if using this.
