Vaniwisp Hatchable Guide

Basics

• Vaniwisps have fantasy skintones unless otherwise mutated by item, trait or crossbreed/hybrid.
• Lanterns & Gems do not dictate eye, hair, smoke length, placement of gem, or clothing color unless noted in the description.
• Lanterns & Gems DO dictate the shape & color of your gem, color of your smoke, body patterns.
• Gem on vani must match properly to the lantern or gem or it will not be accepted. This means the real life gem must also be the proper color. We do check these things.
• All Gems and colors must be present exactly as pictured on lantern or gem hatchable.
• Pattern must be done correctly and match the pattern on the lantern! Remember skintones need an umbral/lumen trait!
• Please always ALWAYS double check the traits listed on the deviation or masterlist post to make sure they are present on your finished MYO! Any traits not specifically listed are up to you~
• In order to get a chance at a hatchable you need to get the Lantern Catch item or a Giant Lantern Catch item from the Adoption Nook There is no other way to get these outside the item and sparse premade adopts.
• To get the Egg Traits listed below you will need a Baby Blessing item from the Adoption Nook

Egg Traits

      Duality Gem (Half and Half gem one side from each parent, smoke on each side matches half of gem)
      Combo Gem(2=3 parents gems smooshed together to make brand new gem, will affect smoke.)
      Stackable Skirts(Get two layers of hip skirts one from each parent)
      Wing Splicing (Combine parents wings to get something fresh and brand new)
      +1 Mutation (Get a mutation the parents don't have)
      Blessed/Cursed (Get +1 Lumenwisp or +1 Umbralwisp trait even if the parent doesn't have one.)
   Starry Wish (Your child blessed by the stars gains +1 galawisp trait, can't be used in tanbdem with Blessed/Cursed)
   Adaptive Patterning (Child must exhibit patterning from both parents in some way, whether it be combined or not)
   Spiraled (Gives your Vaniwisp two smoke tails that lace or spiral around each other)
   Crystal Paws (Get Crystalline paw pads, with the added bonus of hand paws with crystallign paw pads if wanted. If your not into hand paws give your vani long gem nails instead. Height of fashion and envy)
