Iyashino Shima

The island group populated by Amorapuffs and the fashion destination of Aermerea. Similar to Earth's Japan, it is full of asiatic influence as well as Victorian Era Europe, giving it a unique flair and making it a destination of any fashionista's dreams. They are also well renowned for their healthcare and beauty products. The name means Island of Healing, and it doesn’t seem to be hit with tsunamis and hurricanes like most other islands, probably due to their watery guests wanting nothing to jeopardize their happiness. While Iyashino is quite expansive and features many areas and cities, we will only list a few key points below.

Osharena

The capital city of the Iyashino Shima, it means fashionable, and as the heart of the fashion world it lives up to its name. Come here for all your couture needs, ranging from obscure and outrageous to elegant and sophisticated - and with its enchanting preface, you're sure to see something you've never seen before and go home with lots of bursting shopping bags. A convenient strip of mall-like stalls run through the heart of the main square where many established and fledgling designers run daily fashion shows to advertise their craft. It's a dream-like world for even a fashionista neophyte, and don't even get us started on the gourmet foods.

Osharena Village

A designer masterpiece of architecture; this is an extremely hard to get into housing complex, in which most lolitas would die for the chance to live. With high profile residents including fashion moguls, models, and influencers it's a fashion paradise. With a private park, pool, garden, and spa, it has everything you need to relax and unwind after a hard day of being fashionable on the streets, or working to earn the funds for that perfect outfit or accessory.

Osharena Market

The biggest and best market in Iyashino, possibly even Aermerea if you ask the public. Despite being newer and less well established than the Salus Market in East Haven, people are much more likely to come here due to there being so much more to do in Iyashino and all those pesky rumors about Salus do not help. While other areas of Iyashino do have their own passable markets, this one is world famous and is known to have some of the best food around. They like to throw celebrations and festivals and are well known for their swag bags full of goodies. This place is a must have stop for any tourist, and a great place to visit with friends and hang out. The circle structure of stalls go for quite some time; it takes a bit of time to get to the inside or outside either way. Foodies can take up to several hours, and still wouldn’t be able to get through all the food stalls, and crafty babes alike have the same problem. There is even a guide on the net where to hit up when and what has the best items and when - but get there quickly or it will all be gone.

Osharena Station

A bustling hub of many modes of transportation that will get you pretty much anywhere you need to go in the island group. The main feature is the large rail station. It is a multi-floor building with a pronounced East meets West feel that thoroughly encapsulates the culture of Iyashino Shima. When you first enter the station you pass under a stylish Torii gate made up of spiraling red metal leading to a crystal roof that cascades rainbows onto travelers as they arrive. Just past that is the ticket kiosk for the light rail and the turnstiles to reach the light rail itself. The light rail is used primarily for traveling across Osharena as the walk to the various districts can be daunting at times, especially after a productive day of shopping. Beyond the light rail station there is a large open area with a few food stands that people can enjoy while they wait for their train. In the center of this space is a large fountain. Sculpted in the shape of yarrow blossoms, the water flows from the center of the flowers before cascading down into a small reflecting pool with ground sprayers around it. This is both a relaxing water feature as well as a centerpiece for outdoor concerts in the summer, with colored lights changing the water color and the ground sprayers being programed to match the beat of the music. Continue past all of this and you will find a large European influenced building that houses the train and subway lines. Buy your ticket at the door and enter a noisy world as the trains all leave from the main floor. These trains travel to most of the other islands in the chain with a few stops on each island, the number depending on the size of the island. In the center of the floor is a small seating area where you can wait for your train should you have arrived before your train has. The islands you can travel to this way are Jitaku, Ryokocha, and Ryu.

- At the far end of the floor is a staircase leading down into the lower levels. The first level down is a food court type area with multiple food and beverage vendors as well as seating for you to enjoy your bounty. The next floor is for shops that can be rented out. You can find almost anything you are looking for on this floor, from books and candy to jewelry and gifts for the family. Those who prefer a more personal touch enjoy the community vendor stalls one more floor down. Here you can find local vendors selling their wares. Some of the city's best produce actually comes from these stands as well as flowers and small trinkets. Finally, on the lowest level you reach the subway stations. Offering a faster means of travel between the islands you can hop on here and get off at whichever subway station you were aiming for - just don't forget your ticket. Very few people enter this building at night as there are rumors of people disappearing, the building changing, and ghost sightings. If you want to travel to Ametaiyo you have to travel by boat, which can be done from here as well. A staircase outside of the train station leads down to a pier and marina where you can find a boat that will take you to whichever island you choose, just choose your boat and captain carefully.

Jitaku District

A small island specifically designated for housing. The apartments here are built primarily for comfort but also to save space and preserve neatness of the streets. They are some of the premier buildings of Iyashino Shima, if not as luxe as some others. This is where most, if not all, Amorapuffs live and dwell on Iyashino, so they are well kept and always look nice. There is a small area for purchasing food and other such necessities, but most of the residents' shopping is done elsewhere, with the market functioning more like a big convenience store than anything else. Jitaku District is also littered with a wide variety of vending machines and so is the inside of apartment hallways. They have a small, simple park too known as Jitaku Park that is good for walking pets, or just relaxing on a nice day, and the occasional selfie.

Ryokocha District

This is a small district for Teamereans with houses coming in big sizes with smaller versions inside, each containing all the things a Teamerean could need. They also sell these small houses in Osharena Market for Aermereans who want to give their tiny Teababy its own home on the mainland. This district is very unique and prized upon for its craftsmanship, with most if not all of the tiny homes being built by the same artist. It also features areas for Non-Teamerean habitation, but you must have a Teamerean to live here amongst them, and there is quite the application process. The smaller alcoves of the district feature secret markets and areas only Teamereans in their small forms can get to. But don’t worry, just like they can change their size, they can change the size of other objects too.

Ametaiyo

This is a peculuar place where it literally always rains on half of the island while the other half is always comfortably sunny. This island has some more turbulent weather and rough water around it due to this odd phenomenon, causing mermereans to tend to stay away. However, many tourists come to this island for the rain and the signature beings that lives only here: Kanjo no Itos or Kanjos, sometimes known as TeruTerus - mythical weather dolls that have special properties, and can boast cute humanoid forms to boot. The island is also inhabited by those who enjoy the weather and live in harmony with this unique familiar species. All of the island's residents always seem to be happy and cheerful, a feeling that even visitors find themselves being drawn into once they set foot on its shore. The pride of the island is the Seiten Shrine where the dolls originate.

Seiten Shrine

At a particular shrine there is a priest and priestess who work hand and hand to make these special creatures. While the priest takes the time to make them by hand with love and care the priestess breathes the life into them, making them into living beings, something more human like but their appearance is like that of a ghost. There is an area along the main path to the shrine with two walls where you can hang your Ema containing your wish for the priest and priestess to hopefully grant. The shrine is also populated by many free roaming TeruTerus that you may take home with you if a bond develops. Because no one has seen either the priest or priestess it is possible to leave them little notes at the shrine and later find a response on the same note.

Ryuyama

A volcanic island off the coast of Ryu Province; it is active but it hasn’t erupted since the original formation of the chain of islands. The bottom of the mountain is covered by lush foliage, a stark contrast to the snow-capped top. The greenery is a bit overgrown in places, but features an abundance of colorful flora dotted within its midst. The top of the mountain, while frigid, provides a wonderful view of the land and sea below. This entire island becomes a snowy wonderland in the winter months and is a popular vacation destination.

Ryu Province

Another town quite famous for its many sites, lores and myths as well as its shrines and festivals. A bustling area full of culture, some Amorapuffs who want a more traditional life away from the fashion capitals live out here. The shrines around the area are great destination stops if you are visiting, and you can often find Amorapuffs hanging around here as well. Their festivals are bright and colorful and feature a beautiful mix of traditions. Mired in culture and wearing traditional asiatic garb - some favorites being cheongsam qipaos, kimonos, hanbok, and hanfu - as well as mixed fusion, picking a little bit of everything to make something truly unique.

Ryu River

A popular river fed by the Grand Ryu Waterfall coming off of the Ryuyama, and a favorite tourist attraction. Many swim in the basin where the water is undisturbed by the river current. The water is always a tepid cool even in the hotter months, providing a much needed cool down after a day of activity. There are smaller waterfalls that many also frequent, but these are more shallow and are more known for their health benefits than a place to really relax.

Tatsu Ocean

The Eastern Sea, and home to the Iyashino Islands. Many Mermereans like to group here and it isn't rare to come across one while out boating or fishing. There is apparently a mythical sea serpent fisherman love to boast about seeing here as well, though this has never been confirmed. The sea is expansive but mostly temperate and not cold, a perfect breeding ground for various asiatic sea life abound.

Shizunda Castle

Home to the goddess of mermereans herself, the lovely Kishiko. While there is a small group of mermereans that live on the floating isle, most Mermereans are scattered to the oceans of the planet, with some areas being more sparse than others. But Tatsu Ocean has the largest number of Mermereans by far due to its closeness to the Floating Isle as well as the castle submerged within its depths, home to a huge sea dragon who protects it and them from tourists and divers, as well as fishermen. Mermereans love their sea castle and love being so close to the fashion capital of the world. When they walk upon the land, they can buy fabulous wares there. They are quite enamored with their privileged lifestyle. But the castle it is said was once home to sirens, and then abandoned and the mermereans took it, be careful as some sirens still lurk nearby, displaced when they lost their King.

Kitsumai Shima

Out into the East Ocean and far away from the Iyashino Isles are two very secluded, small islands. The first of these is Kitsumai Shima. A lovely island full of asiatic features and buildings as well as a large amount of kitsumais, usagi, tanuki and even some ceros. There is actually a portal here to the Kitsumai main land on another planet and some came to settle here after discovering Aermerea to be far more peaceful place than their home world. Living their lives much differently now than their ancestors, they have become a peaceful and balanced race, very similar in looks and features to traditional kitsune. With rich culture, wonderful festivals, beautiful villages, fantastic crafts, and several luxurious hot springs, this island is a perfect vacation destination and never disappoints any who visit. You can only get here by plane or boat though, and the water is a little treacherous so far out in the open ocean so plane is usually the preferred method of transportation by tourists. (Story Building: This location is available for vacations but not for living on)

Umezakura Isle

The second of the far off drifting islands - and hardly accessible or easy to be found - is Umezakura. A blossomed paradise with architecture of an asiatic theme. It was once the home to a beautiful goddess, and now it belongs to her son. The people who live here worship him as he is benevolent and kind, making sure that everyone is well taken care of and happy. Featuring a spa area with natural hot springs that all have different health properties, bustling villages, and quiet homes on several acres of land filled with fruit trees, any open land is blanketed in blooming foliage, making it a flower paradise. The people here are protected and visitors aren't typically allowed, but once a year they open the isle for a special celebration in honor of their god, the Ume and Sakura Festival.(Story Building: This location is not available for story building sorry.)
