The apps for first canon roles have closed, please welcome the new king Raja and new overseer Agatha!
In the coming week or so, as the two profiles are more filled out, the branch lore will be edited to include them. Characters living within the Monarchy will have to answer to Raja (played by ThatOneWow) and for the feral it'll be Agatha (played by me). Hurray for filling in our first canon RP roles! 

Next up the to-do list... stats and an update to the official breeds. These will take some time, namely the stats. Keep watch for these bulletins and the announcement channel of the Discord to stay up to date. After stats are implemented the new leaders here will be implementing some cool ranks within their branches for characters to fall into. Some, of course, will require certain stats. Which is why stats gotta be updated first! ;)

Finally our first base is public! If you already have a character please feel free to paint their color/pattern onto the based! Otherwise, if you breed two characters and come up with a baby, use this base to paint up what the baby looks like! There will be a few more in the future with different body types, but for now there will be just the one. Please do not use this base to just up and design new characters without properly obtaining them. Remember that while most Them demons are obtained for free, players can't just design their own without breeding two existing ones together! Apps for canon roles + the ability to win a MYO slot are still open!

We are still looking for apps for the king/queen/overseer in the beginnings of RP lore here. These roles are given to characters owned by players, because I like when players are involved! It makes it more fun for everyone. If you don't yet have a character remember that the reward for winning is a MYO slot. Those without characters or characters not fit for the roles may PROPOSE a character, and if you win you will use the MYO slot on that new character! Please do apply and help us expand the lore and world. It is open til June 10th.

This application will be up until June 10th, 2020. If we don't get enough apps or no one applies at all (though I hope someone does) we will just have to implement NPCs for a while.

Lots of goodies have been added for those who are interested in more "ARPG" elements! There is now a way to age and keep time within the canon roleplay, as well as canon locations for characters to enjoy. Then, tacked onto two of the canon locations are some factions for characters to join (or not)! More info on demon magics and demon & animal relationships have been added to the general info page.

There is a new way to register pedigrees, and just like before it's optional (even if you play with the canon lore) but has some benefits! Due to so many free characters never receiving names or sexes or basically any profile changes at all, staff made characters, free or not, are no longer automatically pedigrees. Any characters who have been created before May 2020 and have a name will remain pedigrees, but nameless characters will have this status revoked. 

New characters henceforth will need to follow the rules of the registry in order to be considered officially recognized characters. Don't worry, registering isn't hard at all! All it really requires is the profile template be filled out and a reference sheet be made. A base for players who find themselves having trouble drawing their own references will be released eventually (it needs some tweaking).

Been juuust about two weeks since the Discord has been opened! A handful of members have joined, allowing them to interact with early versions of lore and stuff like an upcoming character base. But alas, we could always use more faces around! The Discord has been the PERFECT place to use as testing grounds for upcoming aspects of the game. And right now, as I'm trying to work out some factions and canon locations, I'm hoping to find some more player interaction. Players can help open up the first canon locations, but only through the Discord at the moment, as the lore relating to the locations is only on there for now! 

The goal is to have one canon location per continent, and each location is to be created by a player from that continent. There are two in North America right now. If any player here lives outside of North America and wants to help expand these first locations then you should comment or send me a note requesting a personal Discord link! From there you'll get to hop into chat and read up on the lore surrounding these locations, and there's a little form to fill out before I give you a message about it. I want to game to involve players more so I think this is a great way to start :) Eventually, when the early run of this form is through, the lore will be released onto this world, hurray!

Hi all! Oh, it's been about 4 months since you've heard from me! A lot has happened. A lot. Well, regardless this little demon species is still quite dear to me and I am continuing to work on it and develop it as time/energy allows! Some of the ideas I've had to move towards a more RP-based collaborative world building game are... difficult to accomplish on TH alone, given the current nature of worlds. But a DeviantART group is ALSO difficult, due to DA's Eclipse making it quite glitchy and irritating to handle! Will they ever update DA groups to accommodate their new Eclipse code? I have no idea, considering they seem more intent on hosting sponsors and contests instead of fixing the bugs. 

Anyways, I'd like to make the species and world more appealing and community-based! But given the above statements that has been a hassle so far. So, experimentally, I am working on a Discord server. I'm also gathering up concepts and ideas with how to push the roleplay, however ARPG elements are hard to solidify given that they require a way to submit and organize art. Is it possible to have a self-sustaining ARPG with stats on TH? Maybe. As I said, I am gathering concepts and ideas.

That said, if current or new members are interested in the Discord server give me a shout and I'll link you!! It's bare bones and being chipped away at, but if you are interested in influencing the development of the species and world now's the perfect time to hop on. Plus, if I'm good and able to start implementing new concepts and gathering a few more folks to join us, I will eventually need a handful more of staff, including mods for said Discord.

• We recently signed on a new mod, give DravenSparrow a warm welcome! They'll be keeping up with their NPC Icarus and helping with events like raffles, freebies, and DTA/WTA stuff!
• A new pattern sheet showing off 144 combos is up, you can find it in both the phenotype guide and the general guide. It's non-comprehensive because it only makes used of 2 patterns, but characters can have way more than 2!
• I've edited the colors and phenotype guide to make visual references easier, including explaining what colors like isabella, blue, and cremello are. I don't include pattern types like bay or color points, but I did include the difference between an appaloosa/dalmatian and a few spot.
• The DTA/WTA ended and the two characters, Cake and Tart, found new homes!
• With the ending of the DTA/WTA, two new piebalds are up for sale in the sales folder. The free ones will release soon.

Hello there all! 

Our first DTA/WTA Auction is coming to a close soon, and a successful raffle ended a bit before that. Hurray!
Some more piebald demons are going to be slowly released- two for sale and two for free.
I am considering a discord group eventually, because no one uses the forums and Toyhouse won't allow you to sub an entire forum yet :(
